Chapter 9

After having a minor panic attack and having to defer to Andromeda's expertise Harry ended up wearing a black t-shirt with black jeans, black convers and to finish the look a black leather jacket. If they were going for a ride he wanted to at least look the part, plus it helped that Andromeda said he look possibly edible. With the help of Andromeda he enchanted a leather bracelet to glamour his extra attributes, he would only wear it when needed since it only created an illusion but the tails and ears could still be felt by anyone that might bump into him.

Around noon Harry made his way to the mansion to meet with Logan, he was actually in high spirits and hoped they really would have time to take a ride. He knew his bike was in perfect working state but still needed to be painted, hopefully that would not prevent his outing.

"Logan! You there?"

"Here in the back Kitten!" Logan's voice was coming from the back of the garage, which he should have expected since just yesterday they had been working there on his bike.

"Don't call me that!" When Logan looked up what he saw left him breathless. His sexy kitten looked like sin and the blush on his cheeks made him even more delectable, if that was even possible.

The intense look on Logan's face made Harry's blush darken and he could no help the lowering of his eyes. "Hello" as soon as the words left his lips he felt like hitting himself, he was sure Logan would think him an idiot or something.

"Hey there, Kitten" The last was said in a sexy purr and by the time Harry looked up Logan was already in his personal bubble. Harry could not help but take a step backward to what Logan just smirked.

"Come with me I have something to show you"

Harry fallowed Logan to where he had left his bike and what he saw left him speechless. Right there in front of him was Sirius bike, now his, looking like it was new. It had been painted and polished, it was simply breath taking. Logan must have finished it after Harry had left. Harry turned with a big smile towards Logan "thanks", Harry was filled with a big desire to hug Logan but kept himself in check.

Meanwhile Logan just chuckled and said "you are more than welcomed, Kitten".

"You know you did not have to do it right?"

"Yea, I know, but I wanted to. Now we can go out on ride like I promised. You know how to ride?"

Harry flushed, "No, I never learned".

"Well then, in that case I will take you for a ride. I can teach you later how to ride by yourself, ok?"

"That sounds great." Harry said with a smile. He was going to go on a date of sorts with Logan of course it was ok.

"Let's go!"

Thanks to Harry's glamour bracelet they could go anywhere without attracting unwanted attention so Logan decided to show Harry the sights. For his part Harry was having the time of his life, the wind on his hair, the adrenaline rush that came from going in high speeds and being snuggled into Logan's strong back made for the perfect time.

"Hey kitten you wanna go for a bite?"

Harry had to blink a couple of times before Logan's words registered but when they did he smiled. "Yes, it's past lunch time and I am kind of hungry"

"Well there is a place I think you will like."

They ended up in a small dinner that while clean and cheery was nothing special to look at, that is until you tried their food, it was heavenly. Logan and Harry both selected the lunch special which was a nice steak with baked potato bits and steamed vegetables.

"Logan this is great" Harry had a big smile in his face and ate his food with relish. Meanwhile Logan had a self-satisfied smirk in his face while he ate, he was glad his kitten liked the food and could not wait to see what his reaction would be to the dessert, he had a hunch that Harry had a secret sweet tooth.

When the food was gone and the time for dessert came Harry was served a decadent piece of chocolate cake while Logan settled to watch him with a beer in his hand.

As he took his first bite Harry could not stop the moaning sound that came as a result, it was sinful. Logan's smirk got bigger and his eyes became heated, it took all his self-control not to jump Harry right at that moment. And then Harry looked at him with big innocent eyes and the biggest smile and Logan had to hold back a moan of his own, not that Harry noticed.

"I love this, thanks for bringing me here" and went right back to eating the rest of his cake.

"Logan today was great" they were standing in the front steps of Harry's home after one of the best days on Harry's life and if Logan was being truthful it was his as well.

"Yea? Maybe we can have a repeat soon." He was standing very close to Harry which made him blush prettily in Logan's own opinion.

"I would love that." And with that he surged forward gave Logan a small kiss and ran inside before Logan had time to react.

After blinking and touching his lips as if to assure himself that the kiss had been real a small smile mad his way to Logan's face as he left for the mansion. He was definitely looking forward to spending more time with his kitten.

On the other side of the door Harry with a big blush staining his cheeks was smiling like a fool. Oh I kissed Logan, I can't believe I did that and then I just ran, what an idiot, what will Logan think? He could not help but feel somewhat mortified but his happiness overshadowed any kind of embarrassment.

He ran into the family room to see if Andromeda and Teddy where there and when he saw them he took Teddy in his arms and spun him around much to the baby's delight.

"After such display am I to assume you day with Logan went well" she had a smile on her face as she watch Harry with Teddy.

"Yes! It was great. He took me sight-seeing and then we went to a little dinner he likes and the food was to die for. And when he brought me here I gave him a kiss but ran inside instead of waiting for a reaction. What if he didn't like it?" The last was said with a silly smile but also a little bit of apprehension.

Andromeda rushed to assure him. "Oh honey I bet he had a great time and would have loved to kiss you silly. There is no way he does not like you, from what I heard he is not the kind to have romantic gestures or go out in dates, so the simple fact that he took you out should tell you he is indeed interested. Plus what is not to like you are a handsome young man if a do say so myself".

"Thanks, I think I needed the reassurance." Just then Teddy decided he had enough of being ignored and pulled on Harry's hair.

"Aw, want to play Teddy?"

"Play, play!" and they went to do just that, after the great he had had Harry could not think of a better way to end it than spending time with his godson.

Andromeda could not help but wonder if Harry realized the significance of that kiss, the courting had been accepted. She was very happy for Harry, Merlin knows how much he deserved happiness in his life.
