Chapter 10

He knew he was hiding, he knew he was being pretty unreasonable but he could not help it. Since he had given Logan that kiss he felt vulnerable. He also felt very conflicted like he needed to run as far away from Logan as possible but at the same time snuggle close to him and be protected by him, from what he did not know. So there he was hiding out in the garden instead of being with all the others in the game room since he knew Logan would be there too.

There was a noise to his right and Harry almost jumped but suppressed the urge and just stayed sitting in the almost hidden bench he was in. He looked around trying to locate the source of the noise but after seeing nothing he felt himself relax. He might have relaxed too soon as a smooth and deep voice murmured in his ear.

"Hey there Kitten. Is this where you have been hiding all this time?"

After a moment of silence Harry finally found his voice. "Hello Logan" a small pause. "I have not been hiding, I happen to like it here." Harry looked at him defiantly trying to suppress his fight or flight instinct.

"Mmm" Logan looked skeptical but let it go. "If you say so. I have been waiting for you to come over and take your driving lessons with me. But since it seems you are not about to ask by yourself I thought I should plan the lessons myself. SO what you say we go for a ride tomorrow?"

Harry's eyes light up, he was actually very happy with the proposition. He wanted to learn to ride a motorbike and he actually wanted to spend time with Logan (even if he had been hiding from him) so it was a win-win situation.

"At what time?" Harry asked looking at Logan through his lashes.

Logan almost groaned at the sight. "What about I pick you up in the morning and take you for breakfast while we are at it?"

"Ok" Was this going to be a date? It felt like it. It would be their second outing together.

With a roguish grin Logan said. "Great, I know a place you will love. But now we have to go to the game room, your friends have been asking for you."

Taking that as his signal Harry left at a fast pace to go inside. Logan just shook his head and fallowed at a slower pace.

It was the morning of their second 'date' and Harry was panicking. He had more than half his clothes thrown around his room and still had no idea of what to wear. At least he had already taken a bath or he was sure he would never be ready in time. Just when he was about to rip his hair out Andromeda came in took a look around the room and with a few flicks of her wand had everything back into place and an outfit on top of the bed for him to wear.

"Don't panic Harry, Logan will think you are perfect no matter what you wear. Now put those on that Logan should be here at any moment. Enjoy what's left of your vacation since you start training on august, ok?"

"Thanks Andromeda. I don't know what I would have done without you." Harry smiled warmly at her and went to get dressed. Andromeda just smiled and left to make breakfast for her and the little guy who would wake up soon.

Logan took him to a small out of the way restaurant for breakfast, it wasn't the fanciest of places (this was Logan we are talking about) but the food was delicious and Harry was having a great time. After that they went for a ride to the country side so that they could start their lessons in a place where there would be little to no traffic to get Harry confident.

The lessons themselves went by fast for Harry, Logan was a great teacher and he was a fast learner. The only complication came from the fact that during the lessons Logan sat close behind him and it made Harry nervous, plus his tails were in the way and they seemed to have a mind of their own. They kept caressing the feral and making him all hot and bothered, which was wreaking havoc with his self-control.

"Logan how about we take a break?"

"What do you want to do instead?" Logan was curious about what his kitten wanted, he could sense Harry wanted to spend time with him so he knew he would not ask to be brought home.

"Well, I was thinking of going to some of the places you showed me last time. It would be nice to actually stop and go inside instead of just passing by."

In their last trip Logan had showed him some landmarks, parks, museums, theaters and all kind of places, most which Harry had never been to.

"So where to first?" Logan was all for it if it would make his kitten happy.

"We could go to the art museum first and then maybe have lunch in one of the food trucks by the park. We could also visit the history museum for a while and if you want we could also have diner together." Harry wanted to spend as much time as he could with Logan but at the same time wanted to test him. He knew the places he was proposing to visit where not really places Logan would visit normally but he was hoping Logan would go with it because he wanted to make Harry happy (not that he was unwilling to compromise).

"Ok, you can also pick where you want us to eat at if you want." Just like that Logan gained himself the biggest smile Harry had to offer.

"Thanks" Harry's smile was the best thing Logan had ever seen. "As to where to eat we can go to one of the restaurants close to the museum."

Harry was smiling and almost skipping as he ate his strawberry ice cream after eating in the park with Logan. They were just walking side by side but Harry felt absolutely blissful.

"This is great." Harry said taking another bite of his ice cream.

Logan just smiled at him. So far they had been having a great day.

"You know you could have got one for yourself, a little sweetness would do you no harm."

"Nah, I don't really like sugary treats. As for sweetness doing no harm I can't argue with you." He said that looking directly at Harry which just made him blush bright red. Harry decided to just keep eating his ice cream and not respond.

While they were walking a comfortable silence fell over them. After that they were heading to the other museum.

As they kept walking they saw families with kids playing in the grass, some joggers, a couple of people playing with dogs and some street vendors. In one of the stands Harry say they had some jewelry and decided to go and see. One of the pieces was a simple pendant with a carved black oval stone. The carvings themselves where white lilies and Harry's eye kept going back to it. Logan noticed Harry's interest and decided to just get him the necklace.

"Logan, you did not have to." Harry said as he looked at the pendant in his hands.

"No, but I wanted to. Let me put it on." Harry dutifully gave it to Logan and tuned around. It was very simple and beautiful, Harry loved it.

"Thank you." Harry looked at Logan with a big bright smile and gave him a small quick kiss in his cheek. Before Logan had a chance to respond Harry spoke. "Let's go, I want to see as many of the exhibits as I can."

Logan smiling fallowed after him.

It was already late and Logan was leaving Harry at his doorstep. The scene seemed very familiar to the two of them. Like the last time Harry looked very happy and a little nervous.

"Thanks Logan, I had a lot of fun."

"Anytime kitten."

Harry looked to be debating if he should say something or not but Logan decided for him.

"Tell me what's on your mind."

"The guys invited me to go tomorrow to play pool in a place they know and I was wondering if you would be coming too."

"Yeah I will be there. Many of the older kids and the adults are going too so I won't miss it." even if he had not planned to go there was no way he was going to miss time with Harry.

"Oh, great. Then see you then." While he was nervous he decided to throw caution to the wind and give Logan a little kiss like the last time. what Harry had not anticipated was that Logan would react faster than him and drag him into a deeper kiss that stole his breath away. So it was a very dazed Harry that went inside to turn in for the night leaving a very smug Logan behind.

"Hey Harry for the looks of it I can assume your day went great." Andromeda said with a smile bringing him out of his dazed state.

"Yea you could say that. He is also going to be going to tomorrows get together." Harry could not wipe the complete silly grin off his face even if he tried.

"That's good and at what time is it?"

"Around five so I will be spending the day with you and teddy. I was thinking maybe we could take him to play ground so he could spend time with other kids his age for a while."

"That's a great idea, we could even go to the wizarding one so that you and teddy can go without glamours."

"But what if they recognize me?"

"They won't. Since your transformation and lack of scar you don't look anything like the Harry Potter they expect. Plus they have not published a resent picture of you for years now."

"Ok, we can go to the magical side tomorrow. We can even go and buy some supplies while we are at it."

"Now go and take a bath and relax. Tomorrow is going to be a long day."

Harry gave her a mock salute and left to do just that, maybe he would read a book before bed.
