((AN: I'm going to respond to a few comments.
"Guest: Please keep Madame Red dead! The only reason she wasnt sent to jail was because she wasn't alive anymore. Ciel, even if it's his Aunt wouldn't care and she would be stuck in prison. Plus part of this arc was the fact that JTR truly was never caught, the killings just stopped after six and nobody knows why to this day. It would be majorly out of character for Ciel to not put her in jail, and it would also screw the story line up. Please keep her dead!"
Answer: I'm sorry but how is Madam Red living screwing up the story? How has it affected it? And next time, make an account. You're being lazy in typing anonymous. I'm not changing the story for one person. Better luck next time.
JinxedPixie:
The last to chapters were enjoyable...I would like to point out a grammar error you keep making as well as a spelling one. First off, the spelling is flirting not flurting. Secondly, if you want to say something is funnier. You don't need to put more in front of it. Or any word that you want to put it -er in front of. It is either more fun/happy/pretty or funnier/happier/prettier etc...
Well adieu until the the next chapter,
jinxed
Answer: Thanks dear. I'll fix that. I was taught in school to spell is as "Flurting".
((AN: THIS CHAPTER IS SHORT AS FUCK. Now on with the show!)))
"HEY! UNI!" Squeaked Aurora, earning a look from Undertaker, but soon turned a look of surprise.
Aurora was wearing his work robes, and the funniest thing was, she looked good in them. But the clothes were a little big on her. "How do I look?" She asked with a giggling smile.
"Like a kitten in a basket of laundry." He said, with an amused look on his face.
"I do love Kittens." She said, flapping her sleeved arms around comically. "I like this. I should wear this more often!" She said, putting her hands on her hips.
"One thing..." He murmured, taking his hat off and placing it on her head. She smiled. "Isn't complete without the silly hat." She said, standing on her toes and placing a kiss on his cheek. He gave a goofy smile. "You're such a dear."
She was growing more comfortable with him since they had the fussy moment last night. She still felt terrible, and wanted to make it up to him...
"I need to go somewhere tonight, could you hold up the shop for me? And possibly, not fall asleep again?" He asked, poking her nose. She wasn't revolted by his nails anymore. Though secretly she wanted to clip them while he was napping. Speaking of which she never saw him nap. Probably cause he hid in his coffins.
She then blinked, realizing what he said. He was leaving tonight...Could it possibly be...
"I'd rather go with you. I know I'll fall asleep again." Aurora said carefully.
"My dear, you know you'll only get in the way~ I don't mean to be harsh, but I'm telling you the truth." He said, patting her head, making her feel like a child again. She pouted cutely. "Okay..." But She knew She would go with him anyways. She had to... She sighed softly. It seemed this was going to be almost the hardest thing she would ever do.
As night began to fall, her stress was starting to show on her, and even Undertaker noticed something was up. But of course, he didn't say a word. Aurora was looking at his books that were on the shelf, almost all of them had to do with death and how to preserve the body. And Aurora had grown used to death around her.
Undertaker was sitting in his chair, munching on a biscuit as always. Something was off about him though. He seemed to be staring off into space. Since he was just sitting there, doing nothing virtually...
Aurora almost jumped when he spoke. "Aurora m'dear...Would you like to come on a trip with me?~" He asked, his voice barely a whisper.
Aurora blinked a few times, before realizing what he asked her. "Sure...Where are we gonna go?" She asked him, though already knowing where.
"Someplace interesting." He said, being vague. He then sat up, his slender hands pushing off the arms of the chair.
She looked more nervous then before. But still, Undertaker said nothing. Hopefully he wouldn't notice that she knew about the children...
.../\/\/\...
"Holy fuck it's cold." Whined Aurora, who was huddling against Undertaker in his wagon. This was a much larger wagon then his usual one.
"I told you to grab a scarf." Chuckled Undertaker, who obviously wasn't affected by the cold all that much. He was a reaper after all...
"I don't think a scarf is going to cut it!" She mumbled, nuzzling his shoulder. He was the only heat source available. And she was going to take full advantage of that. Undertaker didn't seem to mind. He was an easy going male. He casually put his sleeved arm around her, helping her out.
"I'm even more sensitive to elements then before. How annoying." She grumped.
"All vampires are. But some know how to tolerate it dear." He said in a teasing voice, pretty much saying she was too sensitive. Aurora pouted. The carriage rumbled along the rocky landscape. It was beautiful out. The stars were out as well. "It's pretty out..." She mumbled softly, feeling silly for noticing the obvious. Undertaker smiled in response.
Aurora fell asleep some time later. Her head directly on his lap. Undertaker still didn't mind. He continued onward to his destination.
Aurora stood in front of a beautiful tree, It was in bloom and was sprouting Apples from it's branches. She smiled, reaching to grab and apple, only to see it slowly rot and mold away. She retracted her hand, looking horrified as the tree shriveled up quickly and fell over with a loud thump.
She heard crunching sounds and looked up, seeing Undertaker standing there, his hat was gone and his eyes were glowing at her. "Goodbye, Aurora..."
Aurora was entirely confused. What did he mean by that? "U-Undertaker?"
But he was gone in a flash, and Aurora fell to her knees and wept bitterly.
I awoke with a gasp, my body sitting up from Undertaker's lap. Undertaker watched me with confusion...Another dream...It was only a dream...
"Another nightmare?" He asked, reaching out and pulling a strand of hair out of my face and behind my ear. I nodded, biting my lip. I noticed the carriage had stopped, and in front of us was a bare hill, and down below, was a mansion.
A chill went down my spine and my stomach gave a painful lurch. We were here...And the children were going to die if I didn't do something. My eyes squinted, my vision zoomed up closer to the building.
Tha-thump tha-thump tha-thump tha-thump.
I blinked, I could faintly hear heartbeats, all the way from here...And they where fast paced and small...Children's heartbeats. I could make out just a few, the others were too far away.
Undertaker had remained unusually quiet... I had to hurry it up, but why were my feet not moving? Why was I hesitating? Why wasn't I trying to save the children?
KA-BOOM
The mansion in front of us exploded into fire. My eyes widened, the fire could be seen reflecting off my eyes.
Undertaker just watched, his expression unknown. He soon pulled out a biscuit and munched on it, like it was some form of entertainment. "Hee hee~ A person has but one soul... I taught you to treat it well, but...Because you possess such great power, you continue to forget more and more the weight of the irretrievable..." Soon he was fondling his lockets, Claudia P's, in particular.
"You only come to realize it when you can no longer support yourself..." The lockets chimed loudly against my ears, but I wasn't listening to him, my eyes were set upon the fire.
"I mean, really, how many times have I warned the lot of you?" A glowing greenish yellow eye poked out from his bangs. "Hmmm?...Earl Phantomhive?"
In a blink of an eye, I had shot up from my seat and took off towards the mansion, in a blind hope I could rescue some of the children. I had tunnel vision, nothing else mattered, those children needed me.
WACK
I let out a scream as something hit my side with such force it sent me flying across the clearing and into a pile of dead sticks. What the hell just happened? I whimpered out as my side began to throb painfully.
Crunch.
I looked up, seeing Undertaker standing there, his hat was gone, and he was looking at me with such fierceness it terrified me. He...Hit me?
"You cannot save everyone...The children cannot be saved, they are too far gone, let them go." He said, all the happiness was gone from his voice. His aura of light was so bright I had to squint. It was completely gold, which confused me. I clutched at my side. "Fuck...You..." I said through clenched teeth. "I'm n-not...Giving up..." I couldn't believe he hit me. And with such a violent force as well. My irises turned a bloody red. I felt betrayed he hurt me.
"They need to be released from the prison of their minds. Death is the only way for them now..." He said with no emotions. What the hell got into him? And why was his aura so bright and not dark with that attitude of his?
The ground beneath me pulsed with static energy. Nothing would stop me from saving those children, not even him...
Undertaker had not moved from his spot, his eyes still bore into my own.
In an instant, I cuffed my hands together, sending out a powerful shock wave, making him skid backwards, it was all the time I needed to jump up and take off toward the mansion. I wouldn't stop. Undertaker knew me by now, I was stubborn. And I loved children too much to bare the weight of their deaths.
...But that meant...due to my stubbornness, nothing would keep him from knocking me out to stop me.
THWACK
My eyes widened, I was frozen in midair, a elbow was almost embedded into my stomach. Undertaker had gotten me again, much harder then last time. Blood spurted from my mouth. I could feel my lungs ripple from the force of his hit. My nerves stimulated from the shock.
I was flung back, straight into the ground, dirt, grass and rock flung up into the air, before raining back down on us. This was nothing but a game to him. He was so violent with his attacks. I couldn't believe the strength he held. I felt dizzy, and momentarily I passed out. The fire continued to rage the building. Still, I could feel their heartbeats, and that was enough to keep me conscious. My hands dug into the ground.
"Aurora, let them go. They are not children anymore, only mindless dolls. They are broken and shattered. This is the only way." He said, crouching down to grin at my futile attempts to get passed him.
I pushed my upper body up and coughed, blood dripped onto the ground. I sniffed, the smell of blood rose to my nose, and I could feel something within me stirring...
My eyes laid upon Undertaker's chest. I could feel his heartbeat pulsing, sending small pulsing waves of energy…..Why….Do I feel….so thirsty….
My teeth felt sharp against my tongue. I was craving something that my throat so desperately wanted. I was thirsty, so...thirsty...
[Third person pov:]
Undertaker's eyes widened, pain shot up his arm and he looked down, finding Aurora's mouth was now embedded into his arm. Blood spurted from in between her teeth.
He grabbed her hair roughly, trying to pull her off him with such violence she gave a hiss. She was devouring his blood, his essence. And she wouldn't let go, she was like a tick that was forever embedded into the fur of a dog. This was something completely new. And a strange turn of events.
"Aurora, let go." He said, pushing at her face to make her let go. He was pushing so hard he could have almost snapped her neck, but Aurora bit down harder with her newly developed fangs. Her stubbornness and this new thirst for his blood, was going to be hard to fight. But luckily, he had the weapons to do so.
SMACK.
A satoba had struck her side, earning a gasp and a release from his arm. He then kicked her away with his heavy boots. Just what had become of Aurora? Perhaps...She had such a serious side as well.
Aurora stood shakily, her irises were a bloody red, but that wasn't all...She had the black ring around her iris...
Aurora could feel her body healing from his attacks. She had become a full fledged vampire….
The children were still on her mind. She turned to face the mansion. Her arm extended out, she had the power to stop the flames. Her expression was blank.
Undertaker watched with a curious expression. Would she still try to stop the fire?
Her mind was still there, but her instincts had mainly taken over. The children's lives were in her hands...
But they are no longer children anymore.
She blinked as she remembered what Ciel said in the manga.
I have seen children like that before, many of them. Once they get to be that way, theres no bringing them back...
Aurora flinched. But I have to try! I can't let a child die!
For a weak human, let alone a child, how much strength do you think they have to muster in order to rise anew from that situation?
Slowly, Aurora's irises turned to their natural hazel color.
...I can't...save them...They have no happy future...They will turn into criminals...They won't be alive...They won't be conscious...They wouldn't be thinking for themselves any longer...They will end up in asylums...Death is a happy release for them now.
Her hand lowered, her power fading. Once by one, the children's little heartbeats slowed down, and finally stopped, the silence was deafening...
Undertaker walked over, putting his clawed hand on her shoulder. "...Lets go home my dear..." He said, his normal sweeping voice had returned, the fierceness was gone from him, locked away. She then licked her lips, blinking as she tasted blood in her mouth. Her eyes turned to look at his arm. "...Did I...Really bite you?" She asked, seeing he was already healing.
"Yes, gave me a bit of a surprise. Energy vampires don't ever go for blood." He said, shaking his arm and blood flicked upon the ground.
Aurora looked at her hands, wondering what had become of her. And what she had done to try and get past Undertaker…. She was becoming a ruthless creature…Almost a killing machine….But nowhere near in the league of Undertaker….
She stared at the fire ahead, her eyes showing complete sorrow. "….Oh my god….." She mumbled, wanting to weep for their wasted lives.
Undertaker said nothing, his eyes were also on the burning building as well. Though it seemed he felt nothing for what happened. For he was a reaper….He was all about death in the last moments…
.../\/\/\...
"Don't…..Don't touch me…" Hissed Aurora, who had smacked Undertaker's arm away from her shoulder. He was trying to offer comfort. But she felt it was bullshit. And after what he did to her she was pissed…
"Dear….Death happens everyday….Every second…. Do not grieve for them. Be happy they were released from their prisons…." He suggested, earning a glare from Aurora. "That's not what I'm upset about. I'm upset about you beating the shit out of me. Leave me alone, freak….." She mumbled the last word softly. And even she was hurt to say it.
Undertaker smirked darkly. "We're all freaks here…" He then scurried out of the room.
Aurora did not think Undertaker would hurt her so brutally. It just showed her she didn't know everything about him. And he wouldn't think twice about inflicting harm on her…..That hurt her even more.
She felt like her trust with him had been shattered into pieces. Just what was going through his mind when the fire started?
"My dear, you know you'll only get in the way~ I don't mean to be harsh, but I'm telling you the truth."
I was in the way….Ciel was becoming an obsession…And I had interrupted his private moment.…He'll remove anyone that's in his way of Ciel….Even me…
Aurora clenched her hands into fists so hard her knuckles turned white. Her chest was aching with dread.
This is not what I wanted. Now I felt unsafe being under the same roof as him. How the hell do I get along with him now? Should I run? Hide somewhere else?
She thought back to when he first started showing the signs of flirting with her.
Had he really meant it? Or was he using me?...No….
Aurora's eyes widened as She remembered the aura he gave off when he grabbed her arms.
"Who said I was teasing?"
His aura was pink…. He does care….He's not using me…So why did he hurt me?
I can't figure you out….Undertaker….What is the real you? It's like three personalities…. If you really care for me…You need to really show it. I'm trying for you….I care for you dearly…
Aurora laid back on the bed, biting her lip harshly. Also, why had she bitten Undertaker? She felt incredibly thirty…
She ran her tongue over her teeth, feeling that they were not sharp anymore. How the hell did they get sharp in the first place?
Aurora suddenly smirked. The look on Undertaker's face when it happened was amusing….She never saw such a shocked looked from him. Only in the manga…
She rolled onto her side, sighing as she felt her body relax. She didn't have to be so afraid of him. She healed up afterall… But only because her vampiric side decided to step in….Thank goodness for that…
Aurora felt her eyes droop, and soon was asleep. She wouldn't wake for a long while, not after a fight such as that. It would be days…
((AN: Have a wonderful thanksgiving…._ It's 12:22 in the morning. The shit I do for you people! THIS HURT ME TO WRITE THIS. I HATE RELATIONSHIPS BEING FUCKED UP. IT WILL GET BETTER! PROMISE! T_T))
