Chapter 20: Chink in the Armor
"Man what happened to Jason?" Asked Loki as he entered the music room with the rest of the pack.
"Fucked him soo hard I bruised him all over and twisted his ankle." Arc said not sounding happy.
"Man you are really pissed... I guess Billy didn't take the news well." Illiad said and Arc growled smashing a chair on the wall. "You know the school is going to get mad about that.."
"He refused me... When i was being nothing but sweet to him." Arc yelled sounding more angry by the second.
"maybe with some time he will calm down-" Messiah suggested.
"He threw Silver at my face... and pulled out a blaster on me."
"Oh... So he knows about us then..." Illiad says noticing the murderous look on Arc's face at the memory.
"Dont worry they wont act on it... Now let's get to some rehearsal, I need a distraction." Arc told them picking up his guitar and was about to begin using it when suddenly he heard the most annoying sound in the world.
~Hahahaha My wolf warrior! The time has come for the next step!~ Rita said in his head causing him to growl in annoyance.
"I swear I'll tear that bitch's throat when this is all over." He said to himself getting up and putting the guitar down.
"Already? Are you sure you're fine to fight again?" Loki asked seeing his Alpha pulling out the sword from thin air.
"Don't doubt my ability." Arc growled and Loki nodded staying silent as did the other 2 and Arc swung his sword forward causing a rip in the veil and then the rip opened up and passed through him immediately equipping the armor on him then he teleported away in a gray flash.
Once inside the Moon palace he walked through the hallways listening to the witch's voice get louder.
"This time I'll take back my power from that-" He heard her say but the moment he entered the room she stopped and look at him with excitement. "Ah yes, Mighty Wolf Warrior the key to my victory." She said causing him to roll his eyes as he passed by 3 monster servants and standing infront of her and Goldar while Scorpina watched from a corner of the balcony and Baboo along with Squatt cowered behind a pillar. "How is my mightiest warrior feeling?"
Arc growled and saw a serving monster passing with some food, he released his claws and jammed his hand right through the servant and with sharp teeth bit off the servant's neck in a bloody fashion not bothering to clean the blood from his face. "Better after that. And you better remember I'm not your warrior I'm your partner." He told her with a sinister grin.
"I love that vicious side of you hahahaha" She cackled and Arc held back a growl and his desire to rip out her mouth to never hear that sound again.
"What's the plan now?" Arc asked.
"This time I require the Green Ranger's power." She responded.
"Ugh... finally. I'll bring you his power coin." Arc told her in relief he wanted to take him out a long time ago.
"It's not that simple this time around Mutt." Goldar told him with a sneer in his voice.
"What's soo different about this one?" Arc asked confused.
"The truth is that like you I gave the Green Ranger his power. To extract his power I require time and he has to be near." She told him sounding vengeful.
"I see... So I have to capture him alive and bring him to you. I get it." Arc said in understanding then smiled widely. "And after?"
"You can do what ever you want with him afterwards." She told him and Arc's smile turned into a big grin as he licked his lips.
"My beast has been wondering what Green Ranger tastes like." He said and used his sword to teleport away.
"He's getting more and more violent and malicious." Scorpina commented to Rita.
"He still doesn't realize my spell's on him. Soon he'll be an unstoppable killing machine." Rita says with a cackle at then end.
Angel Grove High
Billy and Jason were changing in the school locker room changing into their P.E. uniforms. Billy deep in though thinking about the night before with Arc. His heart was pounding the whole conversation but he managed to fend him off, He had to toughen up more. He had fallen in love with Arc despite everything he hated about him but now he had to leave that feeling behind. He was soo deep in thought he almost missed Jason removing his shirt quickly and putting on the P.E. shirt but he caught it in time.
"Jason?" Billy asked as he walked up to the brunette who turned to look at him confused but then Billy lifted his shirt and saw new bruises he was sure were not there after the fight with Arc and 4 long claw marks going down from his shoulder to his back. "Where did you get these?"
"The fight with Arc... You know." Jason lied looking away from Billy and quickly pulling back as he finished getting dressed.
"And today you came to school limping badly and you said the same thing but I don't remember you limping that day." Billy asked looking at Jason hurt.
"Can we just drop this subject Billy. We're going to be late." Jason told him as he finished putting on his gym shoes only to be stopped by Billy's words.
"Arc was at your place last night. Wasn't he?"
"No he wasn't"
"Don't lie to me. I made him angry so he took it out on you didn't he?"
"This was just from the usual... You know... It always ends like this."
"Why do you insist on lying to me! He never left a mark on you before when you two got together." Billy yelled looking mad. "I know what you're doing.. trying to protect me like always by making me feel it wasn't my fault but it was. Everything's my fault... I was the one who got him involved in our lives... Now he's destroying us one by one and I can't stand it." Billy said holding back tears.
"Billy..." Jason said and surprised Billy by giving him a hug. "The reason you're soo angry... It's not because you hate him. It's because you hate that you still love him. I know you Billy." Jason told him making Billy look at him shocked then Jason surprised him further by bringing their lips together and stealing a kiss from Billy then pulled back.
"Jason... What-?"
"I've always loved you Billy... We've been friends since we were kids but no matter what you can't feel the same way about me. Can't you?" Jason asked him and Billy looked ashamed.
"I'm sorry... I-"
"Don't explain yourself. I know the reason. Just promise me you'll stop being angry. I know you Billy, you are clear headed and smart. I'm worried you keep getting more and more angry at yourself. Don't let him change you like this." Jason said and Billy wiped some creeping tears from his eyes and nodded.
"Now let's go we're late for class." Jason said ruffling Billy's hair but Immediately they both heard a bad sound, Jason's communicator had just gone off.
"You can 't fight like this Jason."
"Sorry Billy someone has to." Jason said using his communicator to teleport away in a red flash.
Angel Grove Docks Warehouse District
"Is this the best you can do?!" Arc yelled with a smile as he fought Jason who was having a hard time keeping up with his injury. "Perhaps you just couldn't handle mating like a dog." Arc tells him chuckling.
"You're letting your guard down." Jason says as he head butts Arc then pulls out his sword slashing Arc across the chest causing his suit to spark up a bit but it was short lived as Arc was up immediately rushing at Jason.
"Not so fast!" Arc heard when suddenly he was kicked low from the side by Tommy causing him to fall and roll to the side.
"You think that will stop-" Arc growled angry but was stopped as his helmet was shot repeatedly by pink energy arrows.
"I wont give you the chance!" Kimberly exclaimed as she kept firing shot after shot. They had worked hard coming up with a formation to defeat Arc but they only had one shot, they couldn't kill him but they had to injure him enough to capture him.
"ENOUGH!" Arc yelled as his mask broke off and his face was revealed with blood dripping down. "You Bitch! I will gut you!" Arc yelled getting up and walking forward taking each shot to the chest and face but moving forward none the less.
"Anytime now!" Kimberly yelled worried and Arc looked to his side seeing both Jason and Tommy with their blasters out shooting both at Arc's left leg armor from both sides blasting the piece off. "Now eat this!" She yelled shooting an energy arrow at his leg causing a small blast making Arc kneel on one leg but he still looked angry and strong.
"I'm a fucking werewolf! This is nothing!"
"That might be so but Billy sure was right about something." Jason said catching his attention.
"Get you mad enough and like an animal you would only focus on who ever is pissing you off." Jason said and Arc suddenly hears a sound and turns to his left to see the Green Ranger standing on top of a pillar playing his dragon sword then he leaped off and Ran away then Kimberly helped Jason move and the two run away.
"You can't run far enough!" Arc yelled as he struggled to get up as his leg was still healing then his eyes widened in shock as he looked back to see the Dragon Zord rise from the water and shoot one Missile right at his direction. "SHIT!" He yelled grabbing his sword and swing it opening a rift to the veil but when he tried to run forward he toppled over and turned around putting his sword infront of him in a defensive manner as it began to glow but the missile hit dead on causing a huge explosion that smashed his armor apart and sent him flying into a building landing face down and not moving.
"Did we go too far?" Tommy asked as he came back seeing the destruction and Arc laying in the rubble.
"Zordon said his armor should keep him alive after that." Jason said as he limped into the area next to Kimberly.
"Zordon, it's done what now?" Kimberly asks through her communicator but she gets back into fighting stance as the other 2 when they hear a growl and see Arc stand up sword in hand his armor shattered apart and blood running all the way through his body.
"You... You..." Arc grunted out his eyes glowing and teeth sharp. "VEIL STRIKE!" He yelled and a purple aura released from his sword as he swung it at them horizontally. The Aura hit them all causing their suits to spark up and sending them backwards. "THAT FUCKING HURT!" He yelled as his voice became morphed as if he was howling and screaming at the exact same time. "I'll Fucking Devour you!" Arc yelled going up to the pink ranger with his sword at hand when suddenly both the Green and Red Ranger got up and began attacking him with their swords but Arc simply took the slashes ignoring the cut's on his body and with his own sword slashed them both multiple times causing them to fall down defeated then he kicked the Pink Ranger as she was getting up making her go unconscious and power down.
"You think anything you can do matters?! Who Fuck do you all think you're dealing with! I'm a fucking Apex predator for a reason." Arc growled in anger walking up to the unconscious Tommy and kicking him again causing him to power down then walked up to Jason getting ready to punch him down aswell. "Don't FUCK WITH ME!"
As he was punching down he suddenly noticed 2 figures approached him from the back and from both sides they grabbed his arm and leaning forward used his own momentum to throw him into a nearby pile of rubble. Arc got up to see Both Billy and Trini standing there in a defensive stand along with Zack who appeared last. "We won't let you hurt them any more... So please Arc just leave." Billy asked looking at Arc determined.
"This sight of you really is gorgeous... Fine I will leave and I'll even forgive this whole thing if you give me one thing in return." Arc said his attitude turning casual and annoyed. "The Green Ranger, hand him over and I'll leave."
"Never!" Zack exclaimed looking mad.
"Arc we can't do that. You can't expect us to give you our friend... What do you want him for in the first place?" Billy asked looking worried.
"I see... Then don't get in my way then." Arc tells them as his skin grows Fur and his body begins to change until Arc is in full werewolf mode and rushes forward making it past Billy smacking both Zack and Trini with his arm sending them backwards then reaching Tommy and holding his head with crushing force. "Let's go my snack." Arc says but then he feels himself being hit by a blaster turning to see Jason barely moving as he dropped the blaster and fell down again before finally powering down.
"You all think you can make a fool out of me and live?" Arc asked walking up to Jason with his sharp claws in a stabbing position. "I'll just finish it here and take the remaining power coins in one go."
"Arc please don't do this!" Billy begged as he stood in between him and Jason.
~Your mate is defying you~ The voice in his head told him as he looked at Billy with a cold expression. " Move."
"NO!"
~Are you going to allow that~
"I said move!" Arc growled his werewolf from towering over Billy now in an aggressive manner.
"I wont let you hurt my friends." Billy told him holding his ground even though Arc could smell the fear rolling off him.
~Teach him a lesson. Or are you tamed?~ Arc heard and he growled in jumping Billy and grabbing his throat with harsh force with his claws. "You think a lowly bitch like you can keep disobeying her man! I'll see you dead before you make a fool out of me!" Arc howled as he squeezed harder causing Billy to start gasping for breath.
"A-... Arc... Please." Billy begged crying.
Arc immediately pulled his hand back looking at it in complete shock. What the hell did he try to do? He tried to kill his mate... Disgusting. "Billy I... I..." Arc said to Billy looking scared himself as he walked backwards seeing the terrified look on his mate's face. "I.. Billy... Billy. AGH!" He howled in agony holding his head in pain as he reverted back to normal. ~Weak, How can you be a good leader if you're soo weak!~ Arc heard his beast growl.
"SHUT IT!" Arc yelled picking up his sword from the ground holding onto his battered body.
"Arc... What's wrong?" Billy asked him as he got up still holding his throat that was begining to become bruised.
"STAY AWAY FROM ME!" Arc yelled with anger in his voice as he used his sword to open the veil. "I don't want you to come closer to me ever again!" and just like that he disappeared leaving behind a confused and scared Billy and extremely injured rangers.
