Blues POV

I look out of the window and see the houses around mine burning.

Many are just rubble and I can see people running around in panic screaming. I stumble over to my brother's bed and shake him to wake him up.

He looks at me with tired eyes but then hears the screams outside and those blue eyes widen.

"What's happening?" He yells. "I don't know!" I cry. "There was a loud crash and Dad and Mum ran outside and told me to stay inside"

Gray grabs my hand and drags me outside. I gasp, in the centre of the city I can see a massive silhouette outlined by the fire and smoke, its eyes are a murderous black and when it opened its mouth to roar I could see rows of sharp teeth.

It turns and throws a large boulder towards us, it hits the house opposite us and it collapses. Gray pushes me to the side and when the dust clears I see him trapped underneath some rubble.

"Gray!" I cry. I run over to him and try to shift the heavy rubble. He grips my hand, "Blue you've got to get away from here!" He pleads desperately.

I look over at the large figure of the approaching demon. I shake my head furiously, "No, I'm not leaving you here alone!" I carry on digging frantically. "Hey"

I hear a voice call. It's a policeman running down the street. "What are you still doing here? Everyone has to evacuate now!" He grabs me by the hand and starts running.

"No wait!" I scream at him. "My brothers trapped under the rubble, you've got to help him!"

The policeman looks back at the remains of the house and carries on running. "Sorry kid" He says to me. "The demons coming and I'm sure he would have wanted you to get away" I start to hit him and cry. "Gray!" I scream.

I jolt awake. Gray stirs, he's leaning on my shoulder fast asleep. I squeeze his hand.

"Thank god it was just a dream" I sigh. Juvia looks up from her book, "Sorry, did you say something?" She asks. I shake my head and stare out of the window.

We're on the train to Crocus to capture the dark mage Lilith who has been murdering magic council officials. "Did you have a bad dream?" Juvia asks. I nod slowly.

"What was it about if you don't mind me asking" I shudder. "It was when Deliora attacked my city and I got separated from my parents and Gray".

Juvia leans over to touch my arm softly. "Don't worry, you've got him back now" She comforts me. Then she frowns. "Separated from your parents?" She says, confused.

"I thought you were found by the dragon and THEN Deliora attacked. You and Gray never mentioned your parents."

I shake my head. "Sorry, I guess I wasn't very clear".

I take a deep breath. "Well, our parents were doctors so they would go out of town quite a lot because of this we would have to stay with carers. Gray and I didn't like staying with them so we would run away quite a lot. That was when we met her."

Juvia frowns. "Her?" She asks. "Venus: the dragon who taught us dragon slayer magic. Our parents had gone away on a trip again so Gray and I were stuck with a carer again. We had managed to run all the way to the woods when we saw Venus. She was a massive, white dragon and a swirly pattern on her scales. She took us in and when our parents were away she taught us universal dragon slayer magic. That was, until she disappeared on July 7th X777. We searched the woods all day but we couldn't find any trace of her."

Juvia nods. "Just like all the other dragons then".

I nod. "The day after that our parents returned and Deliora found his way to our city and we were all separated.

Then after so many years I heard rumors of a mage named Gray Fullbuster in the Fairy Tail guild.

I couldn't believe it so I hurried over here and that leads us to where we are now".

Gray squeezes my hand, "Oh you're awake" I say to him. He looks at me and I hug him tightly. "Please don't ever leave me alone again" He whispers in my ear. I nod my head happily, a tear rolling down my cheek.
