A/N: Alright so here is chapter 7. This chapter is basically just a long conversation so I'm sorry if you don't like those.

.

The room was silent as Sachiko took a deep uneasy breath staring directly at her parents who were sitting across the small table from her and Yumi. Usually this room was used to entertain a few guests at the Ogasawara mansion, or as a waiting room for Touro's business guests. It was frightening on this night now though, it's tall bookcases along the walls with the moonlight pouring in through them. The lights hanging above lighting the room well, but giving a creepy tone to it.

Perhaps it was the tension that held in the air that Sachiko and Yumi could feel. Their nerves were high in anticipation to what would be said. Sachiko swallowed the lump in her throat as she glanced to Yumi who looked stiff as a board next to her.

"So. . ." Sayako said causing both of them to jump as the built up anticipation popped and they both sighed. They had both been expecting yelling right from the start.

"Where should we begin?" Sayako continued as Sachiko put her gaze down to the floor in front of her. "Perhaps it would be best to just simply ask if it's all true." She continued as Sachiko felt her heart sink a little.

She was afraid and her first reaction was to seek Yumi's comfort, which came in the form of simply taking her hand and holding it.

"So you are together." Sayako commented as Sachiko lifted her head a little wondering how she came to the conclusion. When she saw her mother glance down at their joined hands she kicked herself inwardly. A usually comforting move answering her mothers question just as effectively as telling her the truth.

"This will be easier if you talk to us." Touro spoke as Sachiko glanced to her father for a moment before looking back to the floor. Touro sighed as she took a seat by his wife on the small love seat that he had been previously leaning on.

"Yumi, how long has this been going on?" Miki, Yumi's mother asked in almost a confused manner. "I—We're not mad, Yumi. We just want to know what is happening." She continued as Yumi pressed her lips together tight finding it hard to even think of speaking.

"If you don't speak, we will have to assume the worst." Yumi's father said as Yumi glanced his direction though she was still looking at the floor herself.

"W-What did Onee-sama say?" Sachiko finally asked weakly, barely loud enough for her parents to hear. She could feel her heart race a little when she spoke, she was surprised herself at how nervous she was. Then again the thought of losing Yumi was crossing her mind right now.

"She told us you two have been skipping classes and have abandoned the Yamayurikai." Sayako started as Sachiko and Yumi both raised their heads in shock. "Yes, she also told us the reason you've been skipping is because you've both become 'self-destructive' with your newly formed relationship."

"Self-destructive?" Yumi asked as Sayako nodded.

"Yes, Yumi-chan. She tells me that you and Sachiko have abandoned your friends and school work to spend time with one another." Sayako responded as she looked between the girls.

"She is lying, she is the one that abandoned us!" Sachiko tried to argue in frustration as she looked at her mother. She couldn't believe Youko would do something like this. She knew Youko may not agree, but this was low, there was no reason for her to try and break up her and Yumi.

"Sachiko, lying will only get you in more trouble than your already in." Touro spoke as Sachiko's jaw dropped and she looked to Yumi who was just as surprised at what they were being told. "I would do yourself a favor and just tell the truth."

"Sachiko is telling the truth, we didn't leave the Yamayurikai, Youko-sama kicked us out."

"Yumi, we know." Miki said as Yumi raised an eyebrow in confusion. If they knew she kicked them out than why was this a problem.

"Yes, we do." Sayako agreed as Sachiko noted the cold in her mothers voice. "It seems my daughter was having trouble focusing and or caring about Yamayurikai events with you in the room."

"Well it certainly doesn't help that my daughter wouldn't quit trying to get your daughter's attention." Miki added as she looked to Yumi with a serious look on her face.

"E-Excuse me?" Sachiko asked before pausing trying to make sense of everything that their parents just told them. "A-Are you saying, that Onee-sama kicked us out of the Yamayurikai because I was to busy focusing on Yumi who was trying to seduce me during our meetings?"

"Yes, that about sums it up." Sayako confirmed as Sachiko pressed her lips together and shook her head.

"I suppose she didn't mention that she took my rosary and kicked us out because we're in a relationship." Sachiko commented as Sayako's eyes narrowed a little trying to see Sachiko's point. Sachiko shook her head when she saw her mother trying to make sense of this. ". . .She lied to you. I have never skipped a. . .I had never skipped a class before until today. And we most certainly did not get kicked out of the Yamayurikai for whatever ridiculous lies she told you. She demanded her rosary back and told me and Yumi that we were disgusting to our faces. Everyone turned their back on us, they call us lesbians and pick on us constantly. If you only knew what we have gone through in the past few weeks. . ." Sachiko trailed off as she raised a hand to her eyes trying to stop a few tears of frustration from falling.

Yumi put her arm around Sachiko as she took a deep breath trying to calm herself. "We are lesbians and we are in love with one another. . . We are also bullied constantly because of it, they even went as far as to hurt Yumi today."

"They hurt you?" Miki asked concerned as she looked to Yumi who just nodded a little.

"It's nothing bad, but they pushed me around in the hallway." Yumi explained as she lifted her elbow to show her mother where it happened. "It's bruising a little and it hurts, but I will be fine." Yumi continued as Sachiko shook her head and sighed. She wanted nothing more than to get those girls in trouble.

"Did you tell a teacher?" Sayako asked as both girls shook their heads.

"N-No, it's not a big deal. I didn't think it was worth getting them in trouble over." Yumi replied feeling like she did the wrong thing here.

"They hurt you, Yumi. Calling us names is bad enough, but physically hurting us. . ." Sachiko trailed off as she shook her head in frustration. "We cannot allow that, if they think they won't get in trouble it will only get worse. What if they hurt you really bad?"

"She's right, Yumi." Miki agreed as the rest of the parents nodded in agreement. "I doubt they would do anything serious, but if pushing you around doesn't get them in trouble, they may think it acceptable and keep doing it."

"I'm sorry to change the subject, your well being is more important, but I do believe there is something else we need to talk about." Touro started as both Sachiko and Yumi nodded slightly knowing what he was referring to. Sachiko had come out with it already, but Yumi's injury changed the subject.

"Lesbian, I think you said." Sayako started as Sachiko took a deep breath dreading this part of the conversation.

"That part. . ." Sachiko started as she looked over to Yumi for a moment before glancing back to her mother. "That part, is true. I am. . . We are lesbians."

"Is this true?" Miki asked as she looked to Yumi who bit her bottom lip glancing to the floor for a second before sighing and reaching for Sachiko's hand.

"Yes, it is true." She said squeezing Sachiko's hand and looking to her mother. "We are also in a relationship." She continued as her eyes looked away from her mothers.

"You mean. . .?" Touro asked even though he was pretty certain of the answer.

"She means exactly what it sounds like." Sachiko responded as she looked to her father. "I am in an intimate relationship with Yumi."

"What about your wedding?" Touro asked as Sachiko's eyes went back to the floor, she didn't even want to think about that.

"I don't want to marry that, man. I can't marry that man, I'm a lesbian." Sachiko spoke firmly never taking her eyes off of the floor but feeling encouragement in the form of a hand squeeze from Yumi.

"You can't be seriously thinking about throwing your whole marriage out the window for a possibly temporary fling." Touro countered as Sachiko lifted her head quickly feeling a stab at her heart.

"How dare you." Sachiko started in a very cold voice as she looked her father in the eyes. "Firstly, I don't even have to consider throwing away this marriage, it's an easy choice, I want it gone. I don't even like men, why would you think I want to marry a man. I barley know him, but what I do know is he is rude and I would be severely unhappy my entire life, not to mention I would be living a lie."

"Sachiko."

"No," Sachiko stated firmly as she put a finger up stopping her fathers words. "The last thing I wanted to say is that this is no 'temporary fling.' You don't become intimate with flings." Sachiko added as all her parents eyes widened a little.

"Y-You have been intimate with one another?" Miki asked as Sachiko went to say something but closed her mouth and nodded instead. Yumi just remained quiet not knowing exactly what was going through Sachiko's head, but they had talked about being intimate before so it wasn't something she was opposed to.

"Yumi is my girlfriend and I love her with all my heart. No matter what any of you think, I will not give up on her. In fact, I have grown closer with her, even to the point of becoming intimate. . . We have dealt with threats and bullying at school for long enough and here we sit telling you about our relationship. . . I guess what I'm trying to say, is threaten us, tell us we're disgusting and that we're monsters." Sachiko spoke quietly as she put an arm around Yumi's shoulder. "We will not be separating and that is final."

". . .I need time to think about this." Sayako sighed as she stood from the couch and left the room followed by Touro who had stayed for a minute looking at his daughter and Yumi. The girls could tell he was deep in thought, but instead of saying anything he stood and left the room, following his wife.

"Mom, I'm sorry, I know you always talked about finding the right guy and having a big family, but. . ." Yumi trailed off trying to think of something that was easy to swallow for her parents.

"But, nothing." Her father spoke as he put a hand on Miki's shoulder. "You are our daughter and it is true that we have said things like this. That doesn't mean we expected it to happen, Yumi. We just liked looking forward to the future."

"I-I think what your father is trying to say Yumi, is that we only wanted you to be happy. If that means being with Sachiko, than it is something we will have to adjust to." Miki continued for her husband and Yumi glanced between them. "If everything discussed here tonight was the truth, then we have no reason to stand in your way with her. You will always have our approval no matter what." She continued as Yumi smiled and stood from the couch to walk around the small table and hug her parents.

Sachiko smiled at the sight before her, it felt like a weight being lifted that someone important to their lives actually valued their relationship. She could only hope that her parents came to the same conclusion.

"That goes for you too, Sachiko. You are practically family already and have our approval, if you ever need anything, don't hesitate to come to us. It sounds like your having troubles from other girls at school over your relationship. I think it could be helpful if we sat down together soon and talked about what is going on."

Sachiko's smile grew as she stood and gave a very thankful bow to Yumi's family for once again being so caring for her. "I believe that sounds like a great idea, you have my thanks. If you don't mind though, I would like to talk with my parents first. They did not reject me instantly so there may be a chance I can get through to them."

"I think that would be wise." Yumi's father said with a reassuring smile. "Perhaps you should give them a day or two to think this over though before speaking with them. For now, it's getting late and this has been a very big day for the both of you." He spoke as he turned to Yumi. "If you want to stay here for awhile and talk, I understand, just be home by ten alright?"

Yumi nodded as she smiled at her dad thankful that he seemed to understand how she felt. Sachiko was thankful too, then again they were just going to spend the night on the phone if she had gone home right away. "I will have a driver bring her home around nine thirty."

"Good, then we will see you at home. You both know where to reach us if you need us." Yumi's father replied as Miki joined his side to leave the Ogasawara mansion.

Sachiko sighed and look down to the floor as soon as Yumi's parents were out of the room. Yumi tried to put on a reassuring smile for her but found it tough not to show her worry as she took Sachiko's hand. "I-I'm sure everything will be fine." Yumi spoke softly as Sachiko sighed again even though she nodded her head.

"You're right, everything will be fine." Sachiko said as she turned and hugged Yumi. "Even if they don't approve it will change nothing."

-X-X-

Youko sighed as she bumped the phone against her head a few times biting her bottom lip lost in thought. She couldn't help but glance at the clock and think of Sachiko and Yumi. She sighed when she thought of what was possibly happening to them right now.

She dropped her hands to the desk she was sitting at and looked to the ceiling when she thought about the consequences of her actions. Then again those consequences might involve Sachiko and Yumi coming to their senses. What would that do for her though she wondered before being startled by her phone.

Bzzt, bzzt. . .

Youko glanced down to the phone in her hand as a message appeared across the screen.

"What the hell were you thinking contacting their parents? You know this isn't right."

A/N: So there it is, I hope you like it please review or pm if you liked it. I know it wasn't the most exciting chapter, but I felt it needed to be done and was kind of the unofficial middle of this story that I had somewhat planned. This could be later in the story or the middle, I haven't decided what is going to happen quite yet, but I do have things that needed to be touched on first before that so a few more chapters at least.
