I watch the other interviews on the side screen well waiting for my fate to be signed sealed and delivered.
As always District 1 is first and I see Channel prances out on stage. I know she is playing the bubbly tribute who thinks nothing is wrong, just like District 1 does every year. I watch as she bounces all around in her short frilly blue dress with a lot of glitter on it. I also notice how that glitter spreads to her face as she has rhinestones on her face and her curly hair is bouncing almost as much as she is. God how can she act like this and not flinch, it most take skill but I'm sure they teach you that at the academy District 1 and 2 send all tributes to from the age 12 to 18. Then she blows a kiss to the crowd and finally walks over to Chip.
"Wow Channel that was spectacular!" "Ow where are my manners Miss Fossil." "Ow don't you frat a pretty little green hair on your head chip, I love it when people call my by my first name it makes me feel like a star!" "And a star you are my dear. "Now if I may ask I heard a strange clicking when you came out my dear now what was that?" "Ow nothing they were just my fabulous glass slippers I'm wearing!" "Wow ow my Mavis of the Capitol, looket that my friends they really are glass!" "Well would I ever lie to you Chip."
I am glad once she is done because I swear I was going to puke at the way she was acting. Then comes Smiths interview and his interview passes as I aspect it to but the only different thing about his and Channel's is he is argent as always! Then it is Vida the quite one from District 3. She wares a Silver dress one shoulder dress and her hair is pulled back it looks nice because you can see her gray green eyes now. She looks sad as always and is sad as she does her interview; all she wants is to go back to her mom. I'm sure most people think it is a stunt but I know better because I saw the cut footage of the reaping and how she didn't want to leave her mom.
Then next to arrive for there interview is Beck he better do what he promised to. He comes out in a black suite with teal green lining it; by the way his hair is done he is definitely trying to be a cope of his dad its sick! And for a moment I think I am watching his dad's last interview like I did in school.
"Beck, Beck, What a honor it is to see another Odair cross this stage." "Well thank you Chip." "It's to bad your only 16 other wise I think you would have a string of young ladies following you." "Well Chip I really don't want a girlfriend." "Woh, Woh don't tell us you don't like girls Beck!" "Hah I assure you Chip I am not gay." "Okay ladies who had heart attacks you can get up now." "Well were on the subject of who you like can you tell us about what happened at the pried between you and Miss Willow Mellark?" "Nothing, it was nothing!" Ow no he said that way too sharply Chip is going to think something else is going on. "Are you sure because I'll tell you Beck we don't like lairs here in the Capitol." "Chip I'm not lying there is nothing between us were from tow very different Districts, She is a seam rat and I am a regal Odair it would never happen between us!" "Ow owe I hope we have a nurse on set back there because I think were have a burn to treat!" "Well I guess that settles that now Beck please tell us about your darling mother Miss Creasta." I see Beck pale that must be a touchy subject for him because I have never seen the fearlessness be zapped right out of Becks face before. "Well …. Well what do you want to know Chip?" "How is she coping after the death of your father?" "S…h...e's fine. "Because I notice after she left her games she wasn't quit the same." Well she's never been much of a talker but she is a good mom Chip." And understandable seeing as your father was the love of her life." "That's good and ow no it looks like were out of time but I hope to continue this conversation soon Beck. Well it was a true pleasure Chip.
After Beck comes off stage he is quite. I can tell those last couple of statements struck a cord with him. The rest of the interviews pass in the blink of an eye till Regina goes for hers. She looks stunning in her caramel brown dress and chocolate eye and hair. She walks out on stage a snotty prance I can't believe she is playing the stuck up tribute!
"Hello my darling Regina." "How many girls have you used that one! Hmmmm!" "Well I uhhh….." "You know what Chip you can cut the howl darling thing because I don't care and I am not going to stand up here and act like it!" "And yes so I am the daughter of the famous Victor Johanna Mason but I don't give a fuck because I am here to wright my own death you got that now fuck the Capitol!"
After Gina's performance she stomps off stage. Well that certainly did go as I thought it would and I am sure I am not the only one. But I am sure her mom is proud of her. Then before I can even tale a breath it is my turn to go. Well here goes nothing!
I walk out on stage and every one is cheering for me but why I not special. Well actually the only reasoned they think I am special is because of my bitch of a mother!
"Hello Willow, welcome, welcome." "Now my Dear the first question I have for you is" "Do tell us is it true you are the daughter of Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark or are we all seeing stars from the past." After I finish my interview I head back to my room for what will most likely be my last night of sleep.
