Beck was right last night would be the last happy night of my life because today I being my death sentence. I enter the Huber craft with the rest of the girl Tributes and take my place in the chair marked 12. "A man dressed in a medical uniform comes up to me and say arm now!" He is just as brutal as the as the woman who aggressively took my arm and scanned my blood for the reaping. I ask what he is doing but he doesn't answer in till he has jabbed the needle in my arm. Ow! "It's your tracker." He does it to all the girls arms and then before I know it were in the air flying to the arena. I bow my head one last time to pray silently for my family one last time. Channel in her catty voice says. Don't bother even praying for your life because it will do no good your not leaving the arena alive!"I try to ignore her and thank god I don't have to long because soon the Huber craft lands and we are meet by each of are designers and mentors.
I walk with them both in silences to a small room but when I turn around I only see Candice. She hold up a clothes bag. Then she walked over to me with out saying a word. "Here are your clothes for the arena; my guess is it is a winter or forest arena, ill step out so you can change." I change into the clothes I am given. I put on a dark gray long sleeve shirt, the black pants and gray belt, light gray boots, a black jacket and then a pair of dark gray gloves. My hair is tied back in my normal pony tail. Candice comes back in and says "are you ready to go?" As ready as I'll ever be. Candice steps back into the shadows but not before telling me if she could bet or be a sponsor she would sponsor me.
Then I am met with Hamich's face and fore once he is not drunk. "Come on princess it's time to go." As we walk down the hall he says "I am going to give you one last piece of advice and you better use it unlike your mother who didn't and almost got herself killed the first time." "I'll try" "When the games start there will be a cornucopia with a bunch of weapons, food and supplies like always." "There should be a blow dart gun but don't go after it, it's only there to draw you in and get you killed." "That's why the second name for the cornucopia is the blood bath. "Last thing come on and try to bring gold back to the coal of District 12." I let out a forced laugh as I say I'll try. We come to a lit hall and at the end is a tub with an open door I turn to ask Hamich what to do but he is gone, I am all alone. Then I hear a speaker say Willow Mellark please stand on the plate inside the tub. I step into the tub and on to the plate the minute I turn the door slams shut and I press my hands to the glass as the tub starts to move. I get my last gimps of life as the tub goes upward.
Everything happens with in 60 seconds. Before I know it I am running through the soft yet crunchy snow in to the snow filled woods away from all the killing. But also with in those 60 seconds I am pushed to the ground and tackled by the last person I would expect to be tackled by. I was tackled by Layla Duff from 5 ,I never thought I would be up against her she was so scared all through the being clearly I was wrong. What are you doing I thought you wanted to be alley crocked as she chocks me. "Smith cackles at me." And now it's your turn. I continue to struggle and try to fight but it's no use I am not strong enough to fight him off. I run away from the scene with Beck, Regina, Vida and Walton. The last thing I see before I am out of site is the fresh red blood covering the fresh white snow as so many other lose there lives to the Hunger games. We come to a clearing sit down to rest and look through are supplies. We only find the basic needs so this is what hell will be like.
