Hey guy's sorry I haven't posted in forever but my desk top broke down now I have a new laptop thx to my parent's. ( thx mom and dad :) ) So here is chapter 17 of Willow games hope you enjoy the team's first night in the arena. Please review I love hearing what you guys think.
I sit under a large pin needle tree and sort through the bag that has been tossed to me by Walton. Beside me siting under pin trees as well are Beck and Gina. My back pack is a black one I slowly unzip it, as if it is a bomb ready to explode. I pull out a small medical kit, some dried fruit , meat and crackers, a canteen with no water in it and a sleeping bag. I go through the medical kit next, it's farley basic , some cotton bandages, special bags that contend beads that when are warm help with hypothermia, some poison medisan and a stiches kit to sew up cuts. "Damn you totally go t better stuff then I did" Say's Gina and I look over at her stuff and truth be told I did. Gina got a blanket, soup mix and some kind of tool kit. "Now it doesn't matter who got what because were all a team right?" "yeah I guess" Gina snarls "well accept for that one" She says pointing her slim finger at the girl siting across form me curled up crying. "Blood head" "Shut up Gina she could be useful, she's form District 3 tech" Blood head has yet to go through her bag yet, she just sits there with her head in her knees. Blood head is the girl form District 3 Vida Walsh , she wear's her District color, witch is silver not a metallic color just a doll silver color. I look over at Walton, asking a question with site instead of words. He stairs back and I shake my head yes agreeing with my plan to maybe make her feel better if she felt like she had someone to talk to and wasn't just treated like an abject . Beck and Gina continue there argument over how useful Blood head is. I walk over to her and touch her shoulder. "Hey would you like to help me build a fire so we can all stay warm?" She looks up at me stunned that I am even speaking to her. She node's her head fast and I see a hint of a small smile on her face as she dry's her tears and walk's over to the trees with me I decide to go over to the pin trees and start pick up some plaices of old dead wood that are dry. Blood head open her mouth for the first time since she was reaped a far as I have seen. "You know it would be a better idea if you take some of the paper like bark off those tree's a little down further to make kindleing for the fire" Thanks , that a great idea Blood head, can you grad some stone's from around to make a prober base for the fire. "Sure" So I walk a little further down to the slim white tress . I slide my hand on the smother bark, it feel's as if it is papper beneth my finger's and when my kneels slide across it I am amazed that I don't need a knive this bark is that fragile. I begin scraping some bark off and throwing it into the pockets of my jacket . When I'm done Blood head comes up to carrying a large group of rock's in her arms and asks me if this is enough rocks for the base. I say yes and we head back . and for the first time I notice how stricking her eyes are, their not emroulds like Channle's are but just simple soft green that conrest with her hair.
When we come back to the clearing I notice that Beack and Gina have made and are working on away to make a descret camp sit for the team and Walton is examining the tree's and bushes to see if there are any edable plants we can eat. So me and Blood head start working on the fire. In no time at all we have a fire going. and I notice that how many time's Blood head's hair neraly catches on fire. I think to myself how much safer it would be for her to have her hair tied back and also you would be able to see her eye's much better. Hey do you ever pull your hair back Blood Head? She shakes her head no. So I walk over to Walton and ask if he can cut me some of the rope he found in his bag. He cut's me a very generus pacies and I thank him for it and I walk back to Blood face and stand behind her and befpre I even know it I am pulling her hair back like the way my Ante did it for my reaping I show her what she looks like in the reflection of this werid pace of plastic we got in Beck's bag. She smile and noddes in aprovile but then her eyes go wide as she grabs the plastic form me and examend's it. "What's the werido doing with that plastic thing " Say's Gina and then Blood head say's "do you guy's even know what this is?" Before any of us can say a thing Gina snap's. "And I suppso you do", she say's in a mock tone. "Yes infact I do!" "Well then what is it?, smart ass!" It's like a small soller panile if we can get some kind of container to hold snow and then we place it in the sun the snow will melt and turn into water" All of a suden a small parashshuit fall's from the sky Beack looks at the container. "It's container of some sort for Willow" He throw's it up and I hand it to Blood head. "Perfect she say's as she looks at it " "We can use this to get drinking water and it has a screan in the bottom to catch inperatiys , so the water will be freash" "great lets go fill it up " say's Gina.
By the time we get bakc from filling the container full of snow it's night . So we set up are sleeping aragenments. "Okay there are not enough sleeping bags for us all to sleep in one are self's . Say's Beck." So I guess one persone will have to sleep durin ther day and watch at night " I say. "I will do it, I am a night owl anyway" Great Gina say's that's settled."Now the problem of who's going ot be sleeping bag buddy's. " "Why don't we pick pin needle steams, to chose" Walton sedjust's Ok I guess. So Walton grab's four pin needle steam's and break's two in half. "Ok who ever grab's the matching branch to your's is, is your bed partner okay" Says Walton. He close's his eyes and grab's one for himself and stick's it in his pocket, then we close are eye's and grab pin needle stame's. I open my eye's . I got the long one I say, "great look's like were going to be bed partner's gourges " Beck pur's at me. Oh great I think if their is a god up there he sure hate's me right now! But before I can say anything the trumpit's for the fallen Trubits sound. I was so bussy runing form the blood bath that I didn't notice the how many canon's went off. We all watch as we eat some dryed meat from my pack. First up on the screne is Layla at first I think server's her right for going back on are deal but the I remeber how she died . No one should die the way she did thinking she was saving her own life in exchange for mine. The next two I didn't even know but it's the boy form District 6 Vic Halthaway, then the boy form District 9 Jackson Willson and then the boy form 10 Khan Hallombie, then the sky goes pitch black after that. I'm Fine with that till I hear Beck hiting on Blood head. "You know you have beautfuial eye's you should wear your hair up more often" "Oh get over here lover boy" I say as I drag him over to are snow tunnel to go to bed. "What jellous?" Beck say's in a mocking tone. "You wish" I jump in the hole in the ground and slide in the sleeping bag. Beck rapes his arms around me in and curls up next to me. "Get off me you perv " I say as I push as fare away as the sleep bag will let. "Fine I was only trying to keep us both warm" Yeah Right" Those are the last words I say to Beck before I dirift off to sleep.
