December, date unknown
Holy cow! That had to be the craziest day I've ever lived through—and that's saying a lot!
So, the twerp and I went deep into the cave until we came across a giant room with various nets. Each net had either a small, winged person inside it, or a group of small, winged people. There must have been hundreds of them!
"Oh no, the BRATs must be capturing fairies all over the world and trapping them in here!" exclaimed the twerp.
"Great, so, all we have to do is get them out of the nets. How hard can that be?"
As Timmy and I moved forward, a pink haired fairy protested.
"Timmy, no, wait!"
It wasn't until we touched the nets that we realized why we were being warned—they were electrified. The jolt was so great that it sent us flying back a full five feet! I don't think I've ever experienced anything so painful in my life!
"Great! Now how do we get them out!?" I snapped.
"I got an idea!" exclaimed the twerp.
He reached into his pockets and pulled out his snow gloves. After putting them on he picked up a net and tossed it aside, without getting zapped!
"Wha-but how?" I asked.
"My gloves are rubber on the inside," he explained. "Uncomfortable, but convenient!"
The group of fairies we freed flew over and hugged him.
"Oh Timmy, we were so worried about you!" said the pink haired one.
"Poof, poof," said the baby.
"Yeah, and it was really cramped in there. It reminded me of my old job," the green haired fairy said with a shiver. "So many dark spaces!"
I couldn't quite place my finger on it, but I had a strange feeling that I'd seen them before. After they finished hugging the twerp they looked at me and shrieked.
"EH! Look out, Timmy! Vicky's behind you!" yelled the green haired one.
"Uh, I know. She's helping me."
"Helping!? What kind of sick, twisted future is this!?" he screamed.
"Look, there's no time to explain!" said the twerp. "We need to free the other fairies and-"
Just then there was a loud 'pop' and a group of black and blue, winged people appeared before us. I vaguely remembered them from that dream I had this past summer. Strangely they resembled a lot of the fairies that were being imprisoned.
"Attack!" one of them yelled.
The twerp and I screamed and ran. Those things started shooting at us with wands, and the shots that missed us turned into various predators. It was horrifying!
"Timmy! Use the net!" yelled the pink haired fairy.
The twerp ran for the net that had been used to capture his godparents and picked it up. He then charged at those blue freaks, who were still trying to come after me. Just when I thought that I was a goner he managed to catch them. The cave echoed with the cheers of the fairies. I couldn't believe what happened.
"Twerp, you saved me!"
"Hey, I just did what any decent person would've done," he stated.
Geez, no matter how cruel I am to him, he keeps helping me out. I don't think I'll ever understand him.
"Now," he said, "let's free these guys before more antis show up!"
So the twerp and I freed the rest of the fairies, after his godparents whipped me up some rubber gloves of course. After everyone was free and the other fairies poofed away, we began to form some plans. One of us would have to go to Fairy World to overthrow the antis, and one of us would have to stop Lauren and her goons. I of course volunteered to take care of Lauren.
"Great, but we shouldn't go alone," said the twerp. "Cosmo, Wanda; I want one of you to go with Vicky."
Cosmo (so I assumed) let out another shriek and clutched onto Wanda.
"Please don't make me go with her!" he begged. "I promise I'll stop leaving the seat down!"
Wanda let out a sigh. "I'll go with Vicky," she said.
"Yay! Thanks Wanda, you're the best! I don't care what the other fairies say about you."
"Cosmo, I—wait, what do they say about me!?"
I had enough of their bickering and put my foot down.
"Hey! Listen here, uh, floaty people: we have a lot to do, so LET'S GET MOVING!"
After Wanda sent the baby off with the idiot and the twerp, the two of us were poofed to where the prisoners were being held. Wanda managed to hide herself just in time (turning into a watch on my wrist), but everyone was still confused as to how I'd managed to get inside. Among the prisoners were my parents, grandparents and sister, who were shocked to see me.
"Vicky!? It's a Chanukah miracle!" cheered Grandma.
"How'd you get in here?" asked Grampa.
"Uh…internet?"
"Well we're just glad you're alright!" said mom.
I couldn't believe my ears! For a second I thought I'd misheard.
"Really?" I asked.
"Yes. Look, your father and I aren't always happy with what you do, but …we love you, Vicky."
If I'd been holding a glass cup or a vase, I'm sure I would've dropped it and broken it. For the first time in what seemed like forever, my parents were telling me that they loved me…and I didn't even have to threaten them! I started to bawl right there.
"I can't believe it!" I cried. "Well, I'm getting you out of here, and then I'm going to make Lauren pay!"
"Pst! Wish for a key!" Wanda whispered.
"What was that?" asked dad.
"Oh! That? That was…uh…my watch! Yup, and I really wish I had a key to these cells!"
I felt something form in my pocket. Reaching in, I felt something metal and pulled it out. It was a key! I used it to open the cells and free everyone. Once the doors were all open, everyone cheered and my family pulled me into a hug; except for Tootie, who still looked frightened of me.
"So you're good now?" she asked.
"More or less…probably less," I answered, pulling her into a tight embrace. "But I'm just glad that we're a family again! And from now on I promise to take care of you and to never hurt you!"
"Can't…breathe…" she muttered.
I let go of her and returned my attention to everyone else.
"This is going to sound strange, but, we need to go into city hall and destroy all those butterfly nets."
"Hm, that is a little strange," said Mrs. Turner, "but this has been a very strange week. You can count on us!"
After we got out of the basement we made our way throughout the building. While everyone was else was busy destroying the nets and fighting off Lauren's goons, I made my way to the mayor's office, where I was sure that she'd be. Unfortunately two guards came out of nowhere and stopped me in my tracks.
"Halt you—wait, Vicky!?" one of them asked.
It was then that I realized that the guards were Sammy and Megan, my former followers. Sammy grinned and hugged me.
"I can't believe it!" she exclaimed. "I thought I'd like, never see you again!"
"Yeah, what happened to you?" asked Megan.
"I ran away. But that doesn't matter right now, what matters is that we need to stop the BRATS!"
I expected my old teammates to jump right on board with my scheme, but instead they exchanged glances.
"Um, this is a little awkward, but…"
"What Sammy's trying to say is, we're with the BRATS now."
ACK! I should've known! My luck is always like this!
"You no good traitors!"
"Vicky, it's not like that," said Megan.
"Yeah, we like, had no idea where you were so—"
I finally had enough of their excuses.
"Just shut up! Now get out of my way so I can see Lauren!" I demanded.
"Vicky, you don't have to fight her; you can just join the BRATS," said Sammy.
"Yeah, I mean, everyone else is doing it," added Megan.
"Well everyone else didn't get screwed over by that purple haired witch, so get out of my way or else!"
That wasn't a bluff either—if they hadn't moved I would have kicked them to Timbecuador! Once they stood down I marched through the doors. Lauren was leaning back in her chair, laughing about something, but she clammed up as soon as she saw me.
"GUARDS!" she yelled.
"Your guards aren't going to help you now. It looks like you have no choice but to face me!"
"Ugh, what do you want, Vicky?"
"I want you and your BRATS out of this city!"
Lauren laughed.
"That's not going to happen," she stated.
"Well it's going to happen because I just freed all your prisoners, who by the way are destroying your traps as we speak!"
"WHAT!?"
"And if you think that's bad the twerp is taking out your anti-fairies. Face it Lauren, you lost! Now get out of that chair and get out of this city!"
"Think again, child!"
Just then an anti-fairy popped up out of nowhere. He looked just like that green haired fairy, except his hair was blue and he had a monocle. Wanda poofed herself off my wrist and appeared right before him.
"Anti-Cosmo!?" she spat. "I should've known!"
"Wanda dear, how good it is to see you! Would you care for some tea?"
"How did you manage to pull this off!?" Wanda demanded.
"Oh it was easy! Lauren and her friends captured as many fairies as they could, and once they were out of the way we were free to take control of Fairy World and all of your magic! In return we've vowed to assign ourselves as godparents to all the horrible teenagers in the world!"
"You can't do that! It's against Da Rules!" said Wanda.
"Da Rules are no longer of any concern. I had that nasty old book destroyed the minute we took control of Fairy World!"
Wanda gasped in horror.
"So you've written your own rules!?" she asked.
Anti-Cosmo laughed.
"Oh that's the beauty of it, Wanda: there are no rules! We are all free to do whatever it is we please!"
Wanda smirked and crossed her arms.
"You know, Anti-Cosmo, a world without rules can be pretty bad," she pointed out.
"Oh? Is that so?"
"It is. Da Rules stated that we couldn't wish wands away from their owners, but since that rule is gone…"
I understood where she was going, and so I made my wish!
"Wanda, I wish his wand was gone!"
The Anti-Cosmo gasped as his wand vanished.
"NO! You bring that back!" he yelled.
"And I wish that he was in a net!"
Suddenly a butterfly appeared and swooped down, capturing him. Lauren growled and lunged at me, but I was too quick for her.
"I wish Lauren was in a cage!"
Sure enough, metal bars appeared around her, trapping her.
"Mm…smaller cage," I decided.
The cage shrunk to the size of Doidle's. It was perfect!
Just then the twerp appeared, with Cosmo and the baby floating beside him. He looked at Lauren and the Anti-Cosmo and grinned.
"You did it!" he cheered.
"Yup, I sure did!" I gloated.
"So how are things in Fairy World?" asked Wanda.
"Much better!" said Cosmo. "The Anti-Fairies are locked up, the graffiti is gone and look: I found Phillip!"
The idiot held up a nickel, which for some reason he found to be impressive. Jorgen popped up beside us with his giant wand in hand.
"I'd like to congratulate you two," he said. "Because of you we've gained back control of Fairy World and have captured the Anti-Fairies. On behalf of the fairy council I would like to grant each of you one wish."
A wish! With Da Rules gone I could wish for anything! I could make myself rich! Make myself the supreme ruler of the world! Wish to make Chip Skylark my boyfriend!
As I thought about my wish I happened to catch my reflection in a nearby mirror. The sight of my glasses made me cringe. It was then that I knew what I really and truly wanted.
"I wish my eyesight was back to normal!"
Jorgen waved his wand. Suddenly my vision became blurry. I took off my glasses and could see everything perfectly! I was ecstatic!
"I can see!" I cheered. "I can see! I don't need these stupid glasses anymore!"
"That was your wish?" asked the twerp.
"Hey, I can become rich on my own, and I might be able to take control of the world someday, but this was my one chance to get back to normal!"
"Uh, you know, Vicky, if became rich you could've just had laser eye surgery," the twerp pointed out.
My stomach churned at that revelation. I tried to get a redo, but Jorgen wouldn't have it, which made me mad!
"Alright Timmy, now make your wish," said Jorgen. "Once everything is in order I will have to rewrite Da Rules and erase everyone's memories!"
"Wait!" I interrupted.
"What now?" asked Jorgen.
"I don't want my family to forget everything that's happened! We're just now starting to get along, and wiping out their memories could change that!"
"Vicky, I know it's important to you, but if everyone remembers what happened, then the teens will remember the anti-fairies and all of this could happen again!"
"Jorgen! I know what I want!" the twerp spoke up.
"Phew! Finally! Well, what is it, Turner?"
"I wish that everyone remembered what happened, minus the stuff with the anti-fairies!"
"Hm…I suppose that could work. But, there is a problem with Vicky remembering us."
"Well, let her remember everything; at least until Christmas."
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah. I need Vicky in order to keep my godparents, but it would be nice for us to not be fighting during the holidays."
"Hm…alright, but only until Christmas!"
The twerp's request shocked me.
"You're making a wish for me?" I asked.
"Well, you did help stop Lauren, and nobody should be fighting with their family; especially not during the holidays."
You know, even though the twerp is annoying and has caused me pain throughout the years, he's really not too bad. It's a shame I won't remember his kind gesture.
"Alright, now it's time to get everything back to normal!" declared Jorgen.
With the wave of his wand, he vanished, as well as the Anti-Cosmo and the twerp's fairies. Lauren let out a groan and started to shake her cage.
"Hey! How'd you get me in here!? Let me out!" she demanded.
Just then the cops busted into the office, along with the mayor and his goat.
"Lauren Ledergerber, you are under arrest for overthrowing the mayor and imprisoning the citizens of Dimmsdale!"
"NO! It was a set-up! I'm innocent!" she yelled.
"Tell it to the judge!" I snapped.
The cops picked up her cage and carried her out, ignoring her cries and screams. The mayor cleared his throat and turned his attention to us.
"I'd like to congratulate you two for helping us overthrow that tyrant! To show my gratitude I'm offering you the keys to the city and the keys to our hover-car!"
"Sweet!" the twerp and I said in unison.
"Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some redecorating to do! Pink wallpaper does not go with this office!"
After the twerp and I left the office, we decided to reunite with our families. The teens involved in Lauren's plans will be facing trial some time next week. The lawyers are really going to be busy this year.
Well, I think that about sums it up for now. Later!
A/N: This was probably the longest chapter I've ever done. I noticed that whenever Vicky gets a hold of one of Timmy's fairies in the show that it's usually Wanda. Not really sure why that is, but I rolled with it. Let me know what you think about this chapter and the story so far, and have a happy new year!
