Hello! Me again! Well, what can I say? My inner fangirl for Danny Phantom is back. Oh I really hope my readers from How to Train Your Dragon won't come and murder me from not updating. *looks around nervously* Anyway, I was browsing over my stories and I noticed that a fair amount of you have requested me to continue this one-shot, and I was like: "Why not?" so ta-da! I hope you all enjoy and sorry if it took this long…
Disclaimer: I don't own Danny Phantom.
Danny's POV:
Okay, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't anxious beyond comprehension. I was currently in my room right now pacing furiously on my bedroom floor. Well, it's not every day that you get to a girl that you like her in the stupidest way possible.
"Oh God, Fenton, why the hell do you have to be so stupid?!" I cried to no one in particular as I collapsed on my bed. I turned to my phone to see if she left a message or something. There was none.
"She probably doesn't want to speak to me anymore." I grumbled as I sat up. "Nice move, Fenton, you just ruined your friendship with the girl."
This isn't healthy. I'm nervous, and I'm talking to myself. Another thing to add to my "What makes Danny Fenton/Phantom Crazy" list.
Reason number 28: Telling Sam Manson that you love her in the lamest way possible and nervously waiting for her to respond.
While I was currently wallowing in my self-pity, my phone suddenly went off, startling the living lights out of me… or in this case, startling what was left of my "living lights".
"What the bloody hell?" I grumbled as I started to get up from the floor where I landed. I glanced to my phone to see who was calling.
Sam Manson
I felt the color drain from my face as I saw the name on the caller ID. Oh God, what do I do? She's calling me! Did she get the message? Did she do what I told her to do? Oh God, I'm too young to be tortured liked this.
"Okay, Fenton. Calm the bloody hell down. You fight terrifying ghosts at a daily basis, I'm sure you can handle Sam rejecting you, and also, how many years of friendship flying out of the window in the process. Just act normal." I mumbled to myself before pressing the Accept Call button.
Shakily, I held the phone to my ear. Act Calm.
"H-Hey, Sam." I squeaked. So much for acting calm. "What's up?"
"H-Hey, Danny." Sam replied her voice shaky too. We didn't speak for a few moments and the tension around us was killing me. Again.
"So…" I began. I could hear Sam breathing heavily from the other end. Whoa wait, was she nervous?
"Sam?" I called.
"Sorry, I spaced out for a minute there." She said. I sighed.
"Look, Sam—"
"Danny, can you come over?" she suddenly asked. I gulped.
Great, just what I needed: A Personal Rejection.
"Sure." I mumbled. "Just give me five minutes."
I heard her sigh. "Alright." She said. "Be careful."
And with that, the call ended. I collapsed on my bed with a groan and dropped my phone on my chest. I was all ready for a phone rejection, but a personal one? Not so much.
I sighed for what felt like the hundredth time this day before changing into Phantom and flying off towards the Manson residence.
Third Person POV:
Sam was still sitting on her computer chair staring at the message Danny had sent her. She still can't believe that Danny confessed to her like this. She still couldn't believe that Danny loved her back… It seemed too good to be true. Maybe it was just Tucker who sent this, maybe this was just some sick joke that those two morons played on her.
Suddenly, there was a knock on her window.
Sam glanced at it to see the familiar silhouette of town hero Danny Phantom outside. She took a breath before calmly walking towards the window.
I guess there's only one way to find out. She thought as she moved back the curtains and opened the window. She noted how he could just easily phase through, but she was too out of the line to care right now.
Danny took his time in coming into her room. She watched him took one shaky step, then another before finally, he was inside. He looked just as nervous as she was. Why was he nervous?
Two white rings appeared and travelled up and down Danny's body, changing him back into Fenton. He stood there nervously rubbing the back of his neck. He lifted his head a bit to look at Sam.
"Look, Sam, if you're going to reject me, just get it over with already." He said quietly as he looked down on the floor. "Seriously, if you don't feel the same way I totally—"
Danny never got to finish his sentence because Sam took three long strides towards him and crashed her lips on his. To say he was surprised was definitely an understatement. He never expected the reaction he was getting from the Goth, but he wasn't complaining though.
When Danny wasn't responding, Sam's confidence faltered. She shouldn't have done that. Oh God, she shouldn't have done that. Sam began to slowly pull away, embarrassed that she made a bold move like that, however, this made Danny snap out of his trance and close his eyes before pulling Sam closer. Now it was Sam's turn to be pleasantly surprised. She gave out a small whimper as Danny deepened the kiss while wrapping his arms around her waist tightly, but not too tight.
Danny smiled in the kiss once he felt Sam's hands make their way towards his neck. He also felt Sam smile in the kiss too. After what seemed like forever, they broke apart gasping for breath. Danny smiled, Sam smiled back.
"You talk too much." She said with a smirk. Danny chuckled before pulling her in again for another kiss.
When they came into computer class the next day hand in hand, well, let's just say that was the first time Tucker's eyes left the screen.
Well… there you go! I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Don't forget to hit that review button to tell me what you think!
