3 weeks later

He looked out the window behind him to the night time stars glistening through the darkness.

Ben laid back on the wall as he watched his cousin sitting there opposite him. Her eyes were closed gently with a few twitches now and then, her arms were crossed under her chest as it raised and fell with ease. He leaned over wanting to get closer to her. It killed him how much he wanted to hold her in his arms and run his fingers through her hair while whispering romantic ideas into her ear.

He turned his head to the front of the RV watching as Kevin and Max speake to each other as Kevin drove. He smiled before looking over to his cousin cuddled against the corner of the wall on the lower bunk. Ben placed his magazine down and took her gently by the arms careful not to wake her up. He pulled her over to him letting his back hit the wall as her back hit his stomach allowing her head to softly rest on his chest. She breathed out and turned a little snuggling up to him. "Kevin!" She grabbed Ben's shirt. It broke his heart not to here his name. why wasn't it his name? he hesitantly placed a gentle hand on her arm caressing it before making his way over to her hair letting his fingers slide through the soft red hair.

Kevin looked up at the rear-view mirror as his eyes slit. "Max can you take over?" Kevin asked in a low whisper. Max turned to him and nodded before grabbing the wheel and scooting over to the seat. Kevin then walked over to the back standing over the Tennyson's with clenched fists. Ben looked up to him with an arched eyebrow in the background Gwen's light snoring could be heard. "Move, Tennyson" Kevin said in a low voice. Ben looked up to him stopping his hand from caressing Gwen's red locks. "Nope" Ben sent him one of his signature smirks before Kevin began to growl. "She's my girlfriend" Kevin told him like a child about to throw a tantrum.

"She's my cousin" Ben whispered back harshly. Both boys stared threateningly towards each other daring one another to make a move well that was until a smile creaked over Ben's face as Max's voice rose up. "Kevin you mind taking over for an hour?" He asked trying not to yawn. Kevin's eyes narrowed a look that said 'you win this time but i'll getcha back' before he turned round and walked away taking the wheel from Max so he could get up. The old man was about to walk towards the bathroom and get changed for bed until he saw the two cousins. He smiled warmly and bent down towards the girl and the boy. "Nice Gwen" He gave her a quick kiss on the forehead before looking over to Ben.

"Common Ben, lets let your cousin get some shut eye" He whispered towards his grandson. Ben wrapped his arms tighter around the redhead not wanting to let her go. Max's gaze softened at him. 'please' he begged mentally. Ben smiled as he rolled his eyes. "Fine" his grip loosened as he removed himself off the couch and lowered the antodyte gently back onto the soft cushion. She curled up gently onto her side as Max walked off into the bathroom. Ben waited until he left before bending down, their faces less then a few millimetres apart. Ben stared down her lips. he came closer and closer. "Night Gwen" He whispered to her as he kissed her cheek. Kevin looked into the rearview mirror. His eyes narrowed as his grip tightened on the wheel causing his knuckles to pale. This wasn't going to end well.

Ben had woken her up early in the morning just to annoy her. "Gwen?" He whispered shoving her back and forth by the shoulder. "What?" Gwen groaned annoyed. Ben grabbed her shoulders and lifted her up. she winced her eyes opening them to find a bright light in front of her. It felt as though it were all around. "Common Gwen, wake up" he told her as she groaned more and more. 'Who wakes a person up this early?' Gwen thought to herself slumping when she found the answer. 'Ben. Ben would wake a person up this early'

"Common Gwen it's almost eleven and you haven't done anything" Ben complained. 'Great he wants to boss me around' Gwen attempted to ignore him and lay back down but Ben's grip got stronger each time. "Can you make me breakfast?" Ben asked her. 'no' Gwen thought mentally. "Actually i think grandpa and Kevin want breakfast too" Ben informed her. she still ignored him. "Oh common Gwen" He complained as she continued to try and sleep. "Can you at least send Julie another text. she'll be here in less than a week" Ben tried to reason with her. Gwen mumbled something under her breath. "What?" Ben leaned closer. She mumbled something again. "Gwen stop mumbling "Gwen winced her eyes open to see the sunshine glistening through the window and forming a glow behind Ben's head. She brought her hand gently to the bridge of her nose and began to rub her eyes. "I said 'Fine'" She pushed him away and got up quickly. "I'll start breakfast" She sighed grabbing her phone. "Just tell me what you want me to text her" Gwen asked. It caused a sly smirk to appear on Ben's face.

Max smiled whistling happily as he made his way into the RV after smelling cooked food. "Smells great, Gwen" Max called out as he hovered his hand over the plate of food left out for him on the table. He picked it up before looking over to the cousins sitting on the lower bunk bed. One holding a phone and shaking with eyes widened the other smirking evilly. "Alright what's going on?" Max asked sighing. "Nothing Grandpa" Ben answered a hint of glee still apparent on his face. Max just crossed his arms in disbelief before looking over to the redheaded girl. "Everything okay Gwen?" He asked awaiting for her to spill everything. "Y-Yes..." She simply answered. Max asked an eyebrow. "You're looking a little pale" He moved forward causing the girl to grip onto the phone tighter. "What's on the phone, Gwendolyn?" He asked as gently as she could. Ben was turning pink about to burst out laughing and struggling to keep it contained within. "N-Nothing grandpa. I made you breakfast" She told him beggingly. Max looked into her frightened green orbs. it was the look that said 'take the food and leave immediately'

Max just sighed and left the room. He knew she would eventually spill everything...hopefully.

Gwen watched as her grandpa left the room before turning back to his cousin. "If you ever want to text gross things to your girlfriend, Ben, do it yourself" She chucked her phone towards Ben and got up grabbing a plate of food and about to leave. "Gwen, wait" Ben grabbed her by the arm. "Can you text Julie that I wanna massage her-"

"Ew, No"

"Back"

Gwen raised an eyebrow towards the smartmouth cousin of her's. "Don't worry I got it cuz," He began to text. Her face suddenly turned from confused an agitated to down right angry. She groaned grabbed her phone off him and stormed out. Ben smirked as he took his phone out of his pocket. "Oh look I got a message from Gwen" He snickered lightly to himself.

Next Day

Gwen couldn't explain it; something was really oof. "Kevin?" She whispered struggling to get loose. "Hmm...?" He lifted his head to only to meet her confused and slightly frightened gaze. "Something wrong?" He asked cluelessly. Her eyebrow arched innocently. "you've been kinda holding me...for over an hour now" the words uncomfortably fell from her mouth. Kevin just gave her a puppy dog look. "Since when don't you like cuddling?" Kevin asked yet cluelessly. "Well...uh..." Gwen looked down at the position she was in. Kevin's arm were tightly wrapped around her small delicate form. So close that the leg closest to his had to slide over his leg just so it wouldn't be squished.

"What?" Kevin asked his face showing slight traces of anger and annoyance. "I'm kinda squished and you're kinda hurting me" Gwen reasoned with him noticing the mad expression aimed towards her. his arms relaxed allowing Gwen enough room to move away and rub her arms. "Thanks, kinda felt like I was in a chinese finger trap" She joked causing Kevin to raise an eyebrow. "Err... you were kinda squeezing me...every single time Ben walks by" Gwen informed him. Kevin looked behind him to see a shroud of trees and an RV parked nearby. Kevin turned back to her. a smile came to his face. a sly one.

"You know nobodies here" He hinted. Gwen's eyebrow arched but caught on quick. She gave him an evil smirk and a playful shove before Kevin grabbed her by the shoulders and stole a kiss from her over and over. He leaned her over her back inches from the ground. Kevin let a hand slide to her cheek as her back hit the dirt ground allowing her hair to spread out over it. Kevin looked down into her green orbs and smiled. She was his and his alone. She smiled back. "GWEN!" both of them winced and groaned. Kevin looked across to the RV. He hadn't came out yet. Kevin grabbed her pretty roughly dragging her into the woods. "Guys I can see you" Ben stepped out of the RV limping as Kevin and Gwen hid behind a nearby tree begging not to be seen. "GWEN, KEVIN" this time it was the old man. They both sighed coming out from behind the tree.

"Yeah, Grandpa?" Gwen walked over to him looking exhausted. Max looked over to the dark haired boy gripping his granddaughters hand firmly. He didn't seem to happy. "I was wondering if I could have a chat with you for a minute?" Max gently asked. "Sure, what's up?" Kevin asked removing his hand from Gwen's and crossing his arms. "In private" Max turned to Gwen. She just sighed and walked away only to spot Ben emerging from the RV. Kevin just watched the two bicker ignoring what Max was saying until Ben wrapped an arm around Gwen's waist trying to get her into the forest. "Kevin?"

"Kevin?"

"Are you even listening to me?"

Kevin shook his head and looked over to Max. "Sorry, what do you just say?" Kevin asked as Max sighed. "I was wondering if you wanted to go on a little camping trip tomorrow?" Max asked. "Uh, Sure" Max smirked at him. "We're not dragging Tennyson along though; just you, me, Gwen, right?" Kevin asked. "Just me and you, you know a little bonding time" Max stated. "So we're just gonna leave Ben stuck with Gwen in the RV for the whole night?" Kevin's eyebrow arched. "I'm sure they couldn't get into two much trouble" Max inquired. "Not Tennyson I'm worried about" Kevin told him. "Tomorrows the last night of their 'little deal' I'm sure he won't over-do it too much" Max told him but Kevin didn't believe him. "I'll talk to Ben" Max sighed not looking forward to the conversation later. Kevin smiled. He felt a little less weight off his shoulders.
