A/N: Hello all. Sorry for the short absence, I had to spend some time with my nephews at my family's beach condo, so I didn't write the next chapter for the weekend. Anyway, here is the next chapter with Naruto, Fairy Tail and battle with Hidan and his ultimate defeat at the hands of our heroes. Note that Fairy Tail and Rave Master takes place after at some point in the two animes and after their crossover manga and OVA. And expect Natsu and Haru being tiny jerkwards towards Alucard and them being slightly OOC. Enjoy. Also, Alucard is not evil in case anyone is confused by my writing in this fanfic so far, he has been a hero since teaming up with Trevor Belmont in past Castlevania games. Enjoy the chapter.
Chapter 16: Battle with Hidan: Hidan's End, the Boy who would Hokage, the Rave Master and Fairy Tail: Part 1 of 2
Hidan was talking to a winged skeleton on an area of the castle about what happened with the Hippogryph and other information. "I see…" Hidan nodded thoroughly with a sinister smirk. "The Half-Vampire son of Lord Dracula and the girl needed for the Master Plan is heading my way with their friends and allies. And the vessel for the Kyuubi is here as well." He turned his back. "Very well. Inform the troops, I will confront them in an instant." The winged skeleton nodded in response as it flew off to alert the troops. Then, a man who wears a face mask that sorta resembles the one Bane from the Dark Knight Rises would wear, and wearing the same cloak as Hidan and Itachi appeared out of a dark portal. This man is Kakuzu, A member of the Akatsuki and Hidan's best friend.
"Oh, it's you, Kakuzu." Hidan smiled slightly. "Come to check up on me, have you?"
"Heh, you know it." Kakuzu nodded in response to Hidan's question. "Man, you must be crazy to take on Dracula's son. Have you forgotten that he defeated those three useless minions of Werbellia the first time and saved a few of the warriors of the light from our control?"
"I know." Hidan nodded as he got out his scythe. "That is why I cannot return empty handed without the girl needed for the Master Plan. And as an added bonus, we'll bring back the Vessel of the Kyuubi with us."
"The Kyuubi Vessel is here? Man that Queen's Gate sure does work in bringing in people from other dimensions." Kakuzu whistled. "Listen. If you do die in battle against Alucard, know this that I will take your place in capturing the girl needed for the Master Plan. And then, our leader's vision of world domination will become a reality in all realms of the universe."
"I look forward to it." Hidan smirked as he gave his friend a thumbs up as Kakuzu made the dark portal appear and he entered it and warped back to the Order's meeting room. Hidan looked at the moon. "Let's get to work."
(With Alucard's party)
The gang were taking a breather in the hallway leading to the next area of Dracula's castle. They were enjoying a nice healthy dinner thanks to Kagome and Bridget.
Momoko took a bite out of her roast meat and looked up to Alucard. "Sir Alucard?" Alucard was using a napkin to wipe his mouth after eating some bread. "If you don't mind me asking, who are the Belmonts that young lady told us about?"
"I bet they're in league with that evil man, Alucard…" Sarugami growled, that earned him a whack from Momoko. "Ow!"
"How many times do I have to remind both you and Inugami that Sir Alucard is not evil?" She glared at her two naive animal companions. "Forgive them, Sir Alucard. Who are the Belmonts if you don't mind me asking?"
"Yes, We want to know why these Belmonts hate Dracula so much." Miskito nodded in agreement, secretly, she wanted to avoid Alucard's gaze because for the first time in her life, he frightens her.
Alucard sighed and replied with "Okay…" And so, Alucard began telling the history of the Belmonts, starting with Leon Belmont whose fiancée was kidnapped by Walter Bernhard and how Leon acquired the Vampire Killer by making the difficult choice of killing his fiancée who was bitten by Walter, how Leon managed to defeat Walter, but Walter's soul was taken by Death and he offered it to Mathias Cronqvist who would use Walter's soul to become the enemy of mankind, Dracula.
Nymph, Astraea and Chaos began to cry softly for Leon's deceased fiancé while Tomoki, Ikaros, Sohara and Einshiro remained silent.
"I… I never knew Dracula would orchestrate this evil plot to become a vampire in order to curse the Gods for all eternity for the death of his first wife…" Momoko looked down despondently. Kijigami patted her friend on the shoulder.
"It's natural for humans to turn to the darkness due to the loss of their loved ones, but they have the ability to overcome them and redeem themselves over time."
Inugami and Sarugami however glared at Alucard, and Inugami spoke "That still doesn't explain your demonic powers, Alucard. If you know the history of Dracula, then what are you then?"
Alucard was silent for a moment until Bridget stood up. "No Alucard. Let me explain on your behalf. Alucard… is the son of Dracula."
Tomoki and his friends save for Ikaros gasped while Momoko and Kijigami remained calm. It was then, Sohara spoke after the silence ended after 30 seconds. "So… A-A vampire and human can breed…?!"
"Yes." Bridget nodded to answer Sohara's question. "But Alucard is nothing like his father. He fought alongside a Belmont against Dracula after the death of his mother who was Dracula's second wife. Alucard's mother was accused of witchcraft and was found guilty and was sentenced to death by burning to the stake. His mother told Alucard to never hate humans and to protect them."
"I see… You were wise in honoring your mother's final words." Momoko smiled softly. "My respect for you has gone up quite largely, Sir Alucard. You may be Dracula's son, but you fought to protect the humans." Inugami and Sarugami scoffed at this, even though Bridget told them that Alucard is Dracula's son, they still don't trust him, but they'll eventually trust him soon enough.
"…I'm only honoring my mother's final words to protect the humans she is part of and remembering my friendship with Trevor C. Belmont and his allies." Alucard told her nonchanctily.
"It must be hard to fight your father during your alliance with Trevor Belmont, huh?" Nana asked, feeling pity on Alucard on having to fight his father in the past. She didn't get a reply from Alucard as he remained silent.
Suddenly, Alucard's hearing picked up as he stood up from his sitting position. "What's wrong, Mister Alucard?" Chaos asked innocently.
"…Wait here." Alucard told them as he headed into the next area.
"Is it an enemy?" Reina asked out of curiosity.
"I hope not." Tomoe prayed.
(In the Castle Keep)
A man about 18 years old, has gray spikey hair, wore a black tight suit with blue pants and black shoes, on his back is a huge sheathed claymore was walking down the hallway of the Castle Keep, not far from Alucard's group's location. He called out "Ellie! Plue! Musica! Griff! Let! Ruby! Julia! Belinka! Tachimo! You guys there!" He only heard his echo.
He sees a shadow in the hallway. Thinking it may be an enemy, he got out his sword and let out a battle cry as he charged towards the shadow and brought his sword down, two hands blocked the attack.
Those hands belong to a lean, muscular young man of average height with a slightly tan skin tone, black eyes, and spiky pink-colored hair, his outfit consists of a sleeveless, gold trimmed, black waistcoat, often left open and untucked, exposing his bare chest, white knee-length trousers, a thick black wristband on his left wrist,[7] black open-toed sandals and an scale-patterned scarf. Both men immediately recognized each other with disgust an anger as they flip away from each other and screamed out "YOU!"
The one with the spiky gray hair and huge sword is Haru Glory, the second Rave Master and the one with the pink hair and scarf is Natsu Dragneel, a member of the magic guild, Fairy Tail.
"I should have known you were behind this, Natsu!" Haru gritted his teeth angrily as he readies his sword, the Ten Commandments.
"I never thought I see your ugly evil face again!" Natsu growled in fury as he took a boxer's stance. "You're the one who brought me and my friends here with that weird Magic!"
"What the hell are you talking about?!" Haru snapped as he got ready to strike this jerk down. "After that whole fiasco with that woman, Erza was it? I knew you were evil to begin to with!"
"Shut up! You're about to get your evil ass handled down to you!" Natsu screamed as he readies his fire magic.
Just then, a calm and cold tone of voice spoke out to them "You two really are pathetic… None of you are evil to begin with and you jumped to conclusions too easily…" Haru and Natsu looked to the hallway, confused. They see a silhouette of Dracula among the shadows.
"Are you…" Haru began with an angry frown.
"The one who brought us here?" Natsu finished, also pissed off.
"I am not the one who brought you, so listen to what I have to say…" Alucard's voice stated calmly as he came into view.
"Not a chance!" Haru and Natsu yelled in unison with fury as they leaped up and intended to strike him down. Alucard frowned as he activated Blood King Mode, surprising them both and earning them the white dotted eyes expression.
"Poseidon's Typhoon!" Alucard yelled out as his hands emitted a watery vortex as he brought them together and made a huge whirlpool like attack surged at Natsu and Haru who were caught by surprise and knocked into the wall. As soon as Alucard dispelled the attack, Haru and Natsu got up, shocked and frighten by Alucard's power, but they regain their composure and returned to their battle stances.
"This guy's strong! Not even King was THAT strong!"
"His power may even rivaled Aconologa's!" Natsu turned to Haru. "Hey! We should team up against this foe! Just this once!"
"I couldn't agree more!" Haru nodded as he got out a green sword shaped stone and placed it on a slot on his sword, it turned slick green and he readies himself.
"If you two refused to listen, then I have to knock some sense into you two…" Alucard frowned as got into a boxer's stance, ready for round 2.
This battle could be fatal as Natsu and Haru could lose more than their pride. The tension is so thick that a full scale brawl is needed for the catalyst. Luckily, Bridget's voice managed to stop the approaching brawl between the half-vampire, Rave Master and Fairy Tail Mage.
"Wait! Alucard! Don't hurt them!" Her voice was followed by another female voice.
"Yes! Haru! Don't hurt him!" And a third female voice called out.
"Geez! Natsu, you baka! You jumped to conclusions too easily!" Alucard's group, The Rave Warriors (Consisting of Ellie, Harmonica Musica, Griff, Plue, Let, Ruby, Juia, Belinka and Tachimo.) And Team Natsu (Composing of Lucy Heartfila, Erza Scarlet, Gray Fullbuster, Wendy Marvel and Happy the flying cat) ran up to them.
Alucard smiled slightly as he reverted back to normal and turned his back. He said to Natsu and Haru "This battle is over… You're not worth the effort." That makes Haru and Natsu seethed with anger.
"So, who are you guys?" Elle asked with a curious nature. Alucard's group introduced themselves and told the Rave Warriors and Team Natsu on where they are and their mission.
"So… this is a world called Earth?" Wendy asked confusedly.
"And this world has a history with an ancient evil vampire named Dracula who caused sorrow and despair in the past?" Belinka added. Haru and Natsu were not buying it.
"How do we know that jerkward, Alu… what's his name isn't feeding us false info so he can take our powers for his own?" Natsu pointed angrily at Alucard who remained unfazed by Natsu's outburst.
"Yeah. No way in hell he's taking my Rave Stones." Haru nodded.
"Mister Alucard is a nice guy and he would never betray us." Sonico reassured them. "He wouldn't hurt a human being."
"Yes." Hibiki nodded in agreement. "I owe Mister Alucard my life for freeing me from the Order's control."
"Hmm…" Erza was in thought about Alucard's friends praising him, in about 5 seconds, she smiled and said "If Alucard is a noble warrior as you say he is, then I don't have any doubts about trusting him."
"Same here." Musica nodded with a smile. "This Alucard guy seems honest enough." Alucard remained silent, all this praise of him is making him feel uneasy, even though he doesn't show it.
"Don't we get a say in this?!" Haru and Natsu shouted out in anger, white angry dotted eyes and all.
"No. You two are being immature and need to learn to trust Sir Alucard." Lucy glared at them.
"Hey careful, Lucy. That Alucard guy might suck on more than your blood!" Happy joked, Lucy's response was a karate chop from her onto Happy which knocked him to the ground, groaning in pain.
"But how did Dracula become the Lord of Vampires so he can seek revenge on God and every living being in this universe?" Gray asked, arms folded.
"It's because of the Crimson Stone…" Rem frowned as she slightly looked up to the ceiling.
"The Crimson What?" Let asked, one eyebrow raised in suspicion. And so, the party began explaining the true history of Dracula to the Rave Warriors and Team Natsu. Haru and Natsu didn't believe it at first, but their friends do and were shocked and sadden by Dracula's goal to avenge his first wife by seeking revenge on God and killing off the entire human race.
"That's so… so sad…" Griff sniffled as he sobbed. "Seeking revenge on God won't bring back Dracula's first wife!"
"Plue…" Plue whimpered as tears began to fall from his eyes, he too was sadden by the tragedy of the Belmont clan and their resolve to end Dracula once and for all for what he did in 1094 A.D.
"T-This Dracula guy isn't alive, is he?" Belinka stammered as she covered her mouth in shock.
"No, I heard he was killed by a Belmont of this era, namely, this Richter Belmont we heard from Maria." Alucard told her.
"That's good. I bet he's gone forever…" Wendy smiled cheerfully, but something about what Alucard said confused her. "Wait… Belmont of this era? Are you saying Dracula has been defeated in the past before?"
"Dracula cannot be truly destroyed as long as he holds the Crimson Stone. Each time he is defeated, he would resurrected every hundred years to continue his reign of terror and the Belmont of the era would fight him again." Alucard told her stoically.
"Then the cycle will continue with no winning side…" Ruby gulped.
"But there has to be a way to prevent Dracula from reviving every hundred years! That way, he won't return to cause any more damage to this world or any worlds." Elle placed her hand on her chest. "I may have no recollection of my past due to me being an experiment, but I believe there must be a way to defeat Dracula for good…"
"And we'll find a way to permanently defeat him for good. We just have to try!" Sohara puffed her cheeks up with determination.
"Sohara-chan…" Tomoki whispered with a smile.
"Now we can discuss on how to defeat Dracula for good later. Right now, we need to continue on our journey." Sango told everyone.
"Indeed. We need to find an item for Alucard to use." Reina nodded. Alucard then concentrated to find a relic that can be useful to him in helping his friends.
Alucard opened his eyes and told everyone "I believe Reina is right on this one. We can find a relic here in the Castle Keep."
"You're probably gonna lead us straight into a trap…" Natsu grumbled. Houki whacked him in the head.
"That's enough, you fool! Learn to trust Alucard since he's our guide in this world." She scolded him, Natsu grumbled to himself as he rubbed the bump on his head. And so our heroes pressed on.
When they got to the next area of the Castle Keep, after entering a room with moving platforms, Alucard tensed as he raised his hand in front of his friends.
"What is it, Alucard?" Bridget asked in concern, wondering what Alucard sensed.
"…It appears someone is here…" Alucard frowned as he got out his gladius and got into a fencer position.
"How very observant, son of Dracula!" And Hidan stepped out of his hiding place on a platform, looking at our heroes with a sinister smirk.
"Wait… This guy said son of Dracula…" Juia glared at Alucard. "He doesn't mean you, Alucard?" Alucard was silent as he said nothing.
"It's true that Alucard is Dracula's son…" Momo has a serious expression on her features. "But Sir Alucard is nothing like Dracula! He fights for the humans and to protect them from his father's evil." She added, vouching for Alucard.
"I see. So Alucard rebelled against his father because of the wrongdoings his father has committed." Erza now understand why Alucard has a noble heart and how he is determined to end his father's evil. Natsu and Haru scoffed at this, they like Inugami and Sarugami still don't trust the half-vampire.
"So you must be a member of the Grand Order of Evil…" Rem frowned as she readies her gun and points it at Hidan.
Hidan smirked and introduced himself. "Correct. My name is Hidan, a member of the Ataksuki of the Grand Order of Evil. I'm surprised that you're still alive after coming this far. Those three idiot servants of the Swamp Witch didn't do their jobs properly." He twirls his scythe. "Not to worry, I will take care of you myself and I'm not leaving without the girl called Bridget."
"You have to defeat us first if you want me…" Bridget glared as she transformed into her Mew form. Alucard stood beside her and they both got ready for battle. Tomoe and Momoko stood side by side, katanas armed. Hibiki and Tsubasa transformed into their Symphogear forms and readied themselves for combat.
"You think you kids and the half-vampire can defeat me?" Hidan smirked darkly as he slashed his scythe horizontally and puts it over his shoulders.
"Not alone they won't!" A loud obnoxious voice shouted out as two figures leaped in front of Alucard's group, surprising all of them except for Alucard who remained cool and calm.
The first one is a 15 year old boy with blonde hair, wore a black and orange jumpsuit of some kind, black sandals and around his forehead is a headband with the metal plate being the symbol of a leaf of some kind. The second one next to the boy is a girl with short pink hair, wore a dark red dress with a blue skirt, black gloves and white sandals and on her head is the same headband that the boy is wearing.
"Naruto Uzumaki…" Hidan growled lowly. "You saved me the trouble of tracking you down, vessel of the Kyuubi…"
