Gwen sat down uncomfortably with a straight back on the comfy seat. She gulped as she watched Ben come over and sit down opposite her with crossed arms and a sly smile on his face. Her hair swayed behind her shoulders slowly as it tickled her back. She looked over to the open window beside her contemplating on sliding the glass closed. "Gwen?" She was brought back to reality by her twin cousin. She looked over to him with wide eyes. Her nerves were beginning to get to her. "Yes?" She asked her mouth drying.
"Do you mind doing me a favour?" He asked leaning over to her. She arched an eyebrow. "What?" She practically spat towards him. He looked over to the bathroom thinking of the mess he had made in their. "The bathroom's dirty, go clean it" He ordered looking out the window. She growled slamming her hands down on the table before lifting her upper body up. "You won't be able to boss me around tomorrow" She reminded him before getting up and walking over to the bathroom.
"Oh and Gwen" She turned round to see Ben with an empty glass in his hands shaking it. Gwen groaned swiping the glass out of his hand then walking over to the sink filling the glass up with tap water before returning back to Ben who was shaking his head.
"I wanted coke'' He informed her smiling evilly. She groans turning around unhappily before tipping the water and coming over to the fridge and taking out a bottle of dark brown fizzy cola. She filled the glass up before gently placing the coke bottle away into the fridge and returning over to Ben who was still smiling that was until the girl came over and slammed the glass down in front of him spilling it.
"Hey," He complained wiping his black shirt with his hands. She turned away ready to clean the bathroom up until Ben stood up ready to yell at her. "Get back here and clean up your mess, slave" He ordered her. Gwen turned round gobsmacked at what he had just said. 'Slave?'
'How dare he call her a slave' Her eyes began to glow with anger that it actually scared Ben a little. She walked over to him with glowing eyes and stared him right in the eye. "What did you call me?" She asked spitting with poison. He gulped but put on the strongest look he could conjure right now. "You heard me" Ben roared at her. "Clean it up" he pointed towards the glass. She growled at him angrily with glowing eyes but was cut off when Ben slapped her. Not hard enough to hurt her but hard enough to send the purple colour out of her eyes as she stared at him in shock. Ben gulped wondering how she was going to react. He pointed towards the glass again. "I want it clean up by the time I get back as well as the bathroom" He told her pushing past her and walking out the door leaving a shocked and confused girl behind.
Ben wondered round the forest thinking of apologising to his cousin. He really did like her he just wished she could feel the same as he felt. He sighed picking up a branch and swinging it at a tree.
He couldn't help but feel bored. He thought of returning back to her. Bringing her in for a hug and feeling her soft skin. He smiled his cheeks flushing red.
'BOOM'
In an instance a large metal ball landed in front of him. Ben groaned jumping back ready to slam down his Ultimatrix. Suddenly, it exploded. Ben flew back into a tree his head hitting the wood hard as the ball transformed into a robot. It spotted the wielder of the Utlimatrix and aimed it's gun ready to fire. Ben rubbed his head wincing his eyes and scrunching his face. "Dude" He complained looking up at him only to see a gun shoved in his face. His chest heaved as he lugged himself out the way of fire before taking hold of his watch and pressed it down onto a random character. "Diamond Head" He roared at the top of lungs that the back of his throat began to throb. He shifted his hand in the form of a dagger and began running towards the hunk of metal ready to tear it to pieces.
The redhead winced her eyes wiping the sweat off her brow as she sat there on her knees in the bathroom. She felt ridiculous. "If my past me ever saw me like this" She gritted her teeth remembering when she never took orders from Ben.
She groaned relaxing back against the cabinets of the sink with a cloth in her soaked and dripping hands. They were wrinkled to the touch which she absolutely hated. She closed her eyes breathing out before throwing the cloth against the wall where it fell into the shallow bath. She was done. Air forced its way through her nostrils as she stood tall straightening herself up before marching out of the small room and towards the door. She swung it open with so much force it smashed against the outside of the RV leaving a small dent. But she didn't care...well...maybe she cared a little but she didn't have time for it right now because right now she had to go yell at Ben, tell him that she wasn't his slave and wasn't going to put up with it any longer.
She noticed a figure looming in the woods and crossed her arms. Even know she couldn't properly see the person she knew exactly who they were. It's skinny frail body lurched forth arching it's head awkwardly in Gwen's direction. It reminded her of a skeleton she had seen on one of Ben's games a while back. The cold wind touched her skin so delicately that it made her shiver. The woods were creepy despite the fact that she was almost an adult. She shook her head.
"I'm not afraid" She gritted her teeth. "It's just a bunch of bent and twisted trees" She muttered justifying herself. The figure was now coming out of the woods and towards the open space where the RV was parked. It groaned so deeply that it made Gwen re-guess herself. It didn't sound like Ben. Her eyes widened as she took a step back. There was no way that thing could be Ben.
She took another step back her left leg climbing onto the first step as he right hand grabbed hold of the door. It's bony hand lurched out in front of it's body trying to grab the girl in his clasp despite the fact it was a few meters away. "Stay back" Gwen told it in a frantic voice it made her even second guess how scared she really was. No, she shook her head. 'I'm not afraid it's just some stupid trick' She told herself narrowing her eyes.
She breathed in and summoned her energy. "I said-" She began to charge as the figure quickened its pace. "Gwen stop" It told her in a hoarse whisper but Gwen couldn't hear anything right now. Her facial expression was one of a very pissed off person. She punched at the air. A bolt of lighting struck from her fingers attacking the zombie like figure.
Gwen smiled as it flew back a few meters and fell into the mud. "Yes" She smiled running it to it with her hand still alite ready to take the final shot. "WHO ARE YOU?" She asked strictly. She placed hand alit hand towards his face to see a brunette with winced eyes whimpering in pain. Her eyes widened. "Ben!" She gasped not believing that she had just struck her cousin with lightning. She crouched beside him and touched his face. "I'm so sorry I didn't mean to" She whispered placing a hand under his hand and bringing him close to her chest. "Ben, please say something?" She begged tears stinging her eyes. His limp arm reached out and clutched onto her collar. "I can't believe you shot me" He complained whispering. She sniffed smiling at her cousin. She brought him into a hug. "I know, I'm so sorry" She helped him up. "I promise, I'll make it up to you some how" She told him as they walked back to the RV Ben's arm wrapped around Gwen's neck.
