Ben thought it would be best if he gave Gwen some space for the time been. So, he decided to keep out of her way...at least for now. His feet swung in the air as he took a bite of popcorn watching from a nearby branch.

He picked up his binoculars watching as his cousin entered her room with her dad behind her.

He marched her over to her desk making her sit down before pointing to a pile of uncompleted work and papers he was making her do for the rest of the holidays. Ben breathed out taking another bite of popcorn as he watched his cousin swing her hair back behind her shoulders before picking up a pen and beginning to write. Ben leaned back against the tree trunk feeling sorry for her.

She had not only been through so much trauma but now had to spend the rest of the Summer doing nothing but her folks paperwork.

"I have to go say something" Ben muttered before noticing Gwen shiver and move towards the window shutting it before closing her blinds.

"Dammit" Ben grumbled in anger. He gritted his teeth knowing that he would have to sneak into his cousin's house just to keep an eye on her. He jumped down from the tree branch making his way over to the house before turning into GhostFreak and moving up towards Gwen's room. His tail wiped against the bed as he quietly watched his cousin deep in thought over to paperwork with her ear phones in.

He breathed out before turning intangilble yet again and sliding through the door down the hall to Lily's and Franks room.

Frank had a smirk plastered on his face as he came over to Lily who was sitting on the bed reading a book. "Is Gwenny alright?" Lily asked gently. Frank nodded sitting down next to his wife.

"I gave her some of mine and your paperwork for her to do as punishment. So" He kissed her lips. "We've got some free time on our hands"

Ben's eyes lit up.

"No, no, no, no" GhostFreak immediately exited the room escaping back into Gwen's. He looked over to his cousin wanting to hold her so tightly. He could still see her flustered cheeks trying to work off all the emotions that had bottled up over to the past week. Ben sighed sitting on the bed before he noticed the red light begin to flash from the omnitrix. His eyes widened in fear as Gwen turned.

GhostFreak instantly raced for her closet for a hiding spot before he turned back to normal. Gwen walked up to her closet grabbing a nearby tennis racket as she closed in on the wardrobe. She quietly opened the door to find a pile of clothing in a bundle. Gwen gritted her teeth knowing that someone was in here. She would never have scrunched up blouses laying on her wardrobe floor. "I know your in there you might as well just come out" Gwen breathed out. Ben thought about it for a moment. "No, I'm not" Ben put on a thick tongued accent. Gwen breathed out summoning her powers and pulling Ben by the ankle out of her closet.

"OW!" Ben winced as his head his her night stand.

"I thought I told you to leave me alone" Gwen's eyes turned from a serene green to a violent purple. Ben took a gulp of air before standing up. "I did leave you alone" Ben told her walking over to her door and closing it.

Gwen's eyes widened.

"Don't do that" She grabbed the knob with her powers opening the door. "If my parents find out I closed my door they're going to kill me" Gwen opened the door. Ben rolled his eyes. "Aren't you being a little over dramatic" Ben whispered sitting down lazily on her bed.

Gwen narrowed his eyes at him. "When I said I wanted to be left alone that doesn't imply just two days. I meant at month. At least a month" Gwen whispered back. Ben rolled his eyes. "You've seemed to have calmed down a lot" Ben shrugged leaning on his elbows. Gwen breathed out moving back over to her window and opening it. "You have to go, I don't want to see you" Gwen told him taking a few steps back from the window. Ben breathed out laying his head on her pillow. "I'm not going anywhere until we talk"

"There's nothing to talk about" Gwen bit back. "Um, how bout you getting pregnant and not telling me"

Gwen's cheeks returned back to their flustered state. "That's none of your business" She gritted her teeth her voice getting louder. Ben's eyes lit up. "Calm down Gwen or your folks are going to hear us" Ben stood up. "Good" Gwen crossed her arms over her chest. Ben rolled his eyes.

"GWEN, IS EVERYTHING ALRIGHT?" Her mother called. Gwen cursed herself. She looked down at her begging cousin desperate for her not to tell her parents. Gwen sighed. "YEAH MUM"

She shook her head in disappointment. "ALRIGHT THEN"

Gwen waited a few seconds before turning back to Ben. "Just tell me what you want then leave" She whispered marching over to her desk. "As you can see I've got stuff to do" She breathed out. "Just hear me out. I've got a solution that will both make us even"

Gwen turned back to him ears pecked up. "I'm listening" Gwen sat back on her chair. Ben smirked. "I want to make another bed with you"

Gwen frowned turning round. "It can be whatever you want" Ben told her. Gwen turned back round. "And the odds are in your favour" Ben begged her. "What happens if I win?" Gwen asked. "I'll be your slave for the week" Ben told her. Gwen nodded. "And if I lose?" Ben sat up. "Then I get to decide, okay now choose a game and lets play" Gwen walked over to her wardrobe and picked out the only game she could think of that put her at the advantage. She told Ben that they had to play it in her closet for safety reasons aka her parents. Ben sat back on the dark wall as she began to set up the pieces one by one. Ben frowned. "This games boring"

"This games strategic and you said that I could pick the game so no complaining" Gwen told him ditching the chess box before sitting up and moving her first piece. The game took an all round 20 minutes but time seemed to fly by as Gwen removed Ben's second last piece on the board. "Check" Gwen told him. Ben crossed his arms seeing the smirk on Gwen's face. "You're enjoying this aren't you"

"Well, I do enjoy beating you and this is just icing on the cake which I'm going to have you make when I beat you" Gwen told him leaning forward. Ben looked down at his 3 pieces of Gwen's he had removed. All pawns. He stared back up at his cousin before moving his piece into a checkmate position. "Huh, you walked right into a trap" Gwen knocked his piece out. Ben looked down at his cousin happy that she was smiling. "Guess you win cuz," He stood up. "I suppose I should start baking that victory cake of your then" Ben winked at her.

Gwen stood up dusting her hands off. "My folks are going out at eight" Be here at 8:10 with all the ingredients you need" Gwen chuckled lightly.

Ben shook his head walking over to her window and climbing out. "8:10 it is" Ben jumped down as Gwen returned to her desk just in time before her mother came in with a glass of milk and some cookies for her daughter. "I figured you could use a break" She smiled warmly at her daughter as she took a cookie and ate it. Gwen smiled at her. "I did" She smirked before Lily set the tray down kissing Gwen's cheek before wondering off down stairs getting ready for a night out as Gwen removed a blank piece of paper and began scribbling her list of what to make Ben do.
