This fic takes place in the future the events of Veritas accrued (so if you haven't seen it yet there will be spoilers). Castle and Beckett are married but the season finale is not part of this the wedding will be mentioned but it will be the way I image their wedding. Everything else is as is on the show.

Chapter 14: Do We Have Always

After dinner Castle led the boys and Gates to his office while Kate helped the girls clean up.

"So what's up bro" Esposito asked once they were inside.

"I received two threatening text messages one on the day Kate was shot and one tonight" Castle told him

"Is it Bracken" Ryan asked

Castle nods "He's watching us"

"Does Kate know about this" Gates questions

"No sir I've been debating whether or not to tell her especially after her nightmare" he answered "the threats were on me" he added

"As a wife I'd be more upset if I found out my husband kept it from me but as a cop I'd understand if you didn't" Gates informs him.

Castle sighs running his fingers through his hair "I have to tell her we promised each other no more secrets"

"Why don't you go talk to Katie and we can start going through these boxes of my Johanna's stuff" Jim walked in having heard the conversation.

"Okay let me know if you find anything" Castle goes out to the livingroom "Kate can we take a walk"

Kate smiles "I'd like that" she grabs a blanket and starps on her gun she then takes his hand.

They walk down to the beach spreading out the blanket Castle sits down pulling Kate down into his arms "I need to tell you something but I don't want you to freak out okay" he holds her watching the waves hit the sand.

"Rick what's going on a..are you okay" she asked getting scared.

"I'm fine but I did receive a few death threats" he told her carefully.

"Wh..What? wh..when? W..was it Bracken?" her voice trembles.

He nods " I got one text the day you were shot and another one tonight" he told her

"M..My nightmare h..he's going t…to take you from me" Kate started to cry.

"Shh its okay Kate nobody is taking me away from you" he promised "We're going to get Bracken the guys are in there going though your moms stuff right now"

Kate sat there a minute looking at him all she could think about was losing him, she had the sudden need to be close to him she pressed herself into his chest kissing him.

Castle kisses back until he feels her hand reaching into his shorts "Kate we're on the beach" he reminds her.

"I..I don't care I need you Rick" she leans in to kiss him again.

"Are you sure" he asks his wife before going any further.

She nods and removes her shirt revealing her prefect breasts that had already changed a tiny bit in the early stage of pregnancy to him "Make love to me babe right here under the stars" she put her hand at the hem of his shirt lifting it off him.

Castle pulled her into his chest the sensation of her nipples again his bare skin causin him to moan he dipped his mouth pressing his lips to hers kissing her deeply, he ran his hands over her warm soft skin.

Kate snaked her hand down Castle's shorts he moaned her name when he felt her hand wrap around him. "Your shorts need to come off mister" she purred unbuttoning them with her other hand. She lets him go to pull his shorts and boxers off tossing them on the blanket beside them with their shirts.

Castle watches her shimmy out of her own shorts and panties she lays back on the blanket taking his hand pulling him down on her. He smiled down at her kissing down her lips and to her neck while he trailed his hands over her perfect tan skin. It still amazed him even after two years as a couple and two months of marriage that he could touch Kate Beckett in the most intimate of ways. His hand dipped down between her legs he ran his fingers over her folds feeling how wet and ready she was for him.

"You're so wet" Castle whispered in her ear "So wet" he repeated as he slowly ran his fingers over the length of her.

Kate squirmed against his touch "You do that to me, only you" she moaned. It was a true statement none of the men she'd been with ever turned her on the way Richard Castle does even in the beginning he'd whisper something to her, his breath against her ear or cheek or touch her in the most innocent way and she'd be in need of dry panties.

"Rick please" she moaned "I need you now" she whimpered.

Castle teased her a little more with his fingers before removing his hand and positioning himself between her legs thrusting his length into her. He was inside her but not moving.

"Rick" Kate moaned "Please, move" she begged moving her hips again him.

Castle looked at the beautiful woman beneath him it had always been a fantasy of his to make love to her on the beach in the Hamptons it was one he'd given up on because Kate was such a private person it took him 4 years to be let in completely but here they were on the beach making love he leaned in pressing his lips to hers kissing her as he began to thrust in and out of her.

Kate moaned wrapping her legs around Castle's waist "faster, harder" she begged trailing her hand down to his prefect ass squeezing it pushing him deeper into her.

"Kate" he moaned "The baby, your arm" he reminded her as he continued with gentle thrusts. He wanted to give her what she wanted but he didn't want to cause any more damage or pain to her or their unborn baby.

"We're fine, Rick please" she moaned

Castle glanced at her slinged arm laying on the blanket he reached over grabbing their clothes placing them gently under her arm then he looked into her eyes as he with drew from her and slammed back into her hard and fast.

"Oh Rick yes! yes! "Kate moaned "Just like that! Don't stop!" she moaned.

Castle continued thrusting in and out keeping a rhythm she was enjoying. The only sounds were their bodies slapping together, their sounds of pleasure and the gentle waves hitting the beach.

Kate knew she was close, tears filled her eyes she tried to fight them but failed they ran down her cheeks a soft sob following.

Castle looked down at her "Kate? What is it am I hurting you" he asked when he saw her tears and heard her soft sob.

"N..No y..you feel good Rick, so good don't stop" she told him

Castle knew something was bothering her but if she didn't want him to stop he wouldn't he continued thrusting as he moved a hand between them seeking out the sensitive rosebud with in her folds, he rubs and pinches the tiny bud.

Kate tightened her legs around his waist moaning, panting and crying out his name as she came.

Castle moaned feeling her walls tighten around him. He thrust into her a few more times before thrusting into her one last time saying her name as he came too. A few minutes later he pulls out and gathers her in his arms "Are you okay" he asks softly

Kate nods not trusting her voice.

"Kate talk to me you never cry when we make love did I do something wrong, did I hurt you in some way" Castle worries.

"No I just, I'm scared" she whispers snuggling into him.

"Scared of what" he wonders

"I..I kept thinking what if this is the last time we ever get to make love wh..what if I never get to feel you or touch you again" fresh tears filled her eyes.

"Kate I'm not going anywhere I'm right here we're going to be making love and feeling each other when we're 100 in some nursing home" he grins when she laughs a little he leans in to kiss her.

"Don't count on that nursing home writer" a voice said in the night.

Castle looked up seeing a man standing there a gun aimed at them he grabbed his shirt covering their bodies with "Who are you?! What do you want?!" he asks pulling Kate closer to him feeling her trembling.

"What I want is to finish the job Earl fucked up and make my boss happy" the man snarled his hand on the trigger.

"Ri..Rick I..I'm sorry, I..I'm so sorry I love you A..Always" Kate sobbed into his chest.

"Shh its okay it's not your fault Kate I love you too always" he kisses her one last time "Oh well" he thought "At least we'll go together" he held her tight tears in his blue eyes. A gun shot rang out. He closes his eyes waiting for the pain to hit waiting for their always to end.
