Chapter 4- Dragon-fire

As the chaos began I got knocked over by some massive energy blast from the dragon as it yelled out some sort of... yell? And as I got back up Ralof yelled to me, "You! Bretonian mercenary! Follow me! We won't get another chance at escape here!" I quickly looked for him and noticed that he had somehow freed himself and was standing near the door of a nearby tower motioning for me to hurry. I rushed into the tower and he slammed the door shut behind me. As I bent over panting from the insanity outside I noted that The so called' rebel leader' was standing beside the door unbound and ungagged. Ralof walked up to him and asked, "Jarl Ulfric. Was that really a dragon? The bringers of the end times? I thought they were just legends!" Ulfric frowned at him and said in a regal voice, "Legends don't burn down villages." He then looked over at me and then back to Ralof saying, "You need to get out of here. I will be waiting for you in Windhelm!" Ralof began to head upstairs and I was about to respond but Ulfric gave me the most INTENSE glare I have ever seen someone give and he yelled, "GO!" I gulped and rushed after Ralof. Above in the higher level of the tower there were two Stormcloaks trying to move rubble from the stairway. But before Ralof or I could assist them the wall crumbled inwards as the dragon pushed his way into the tower and incinerated them with it's fire-breath. After it pulled out of the tower and began attacking other areas we peeked outside to see a nearby building has a massive hole in it. I looked to Ralof and asked, "What now?" He grimaced ans said, "Looks like your going to have to jump across. Don't worry about me I can find another route and meet up with you later on. Go!" I turned with a sigh. Then ran as fast as I could towards the hole and leaped across the gap with a roar. I narrowly made the jump but got scorched a little bit on entry by the embers of still-burning fires. I quickly patted out the on-fire parts of my body. As I drop down the the lower floor I mutter, "Looks like it's going to be one of those days..."
