Chapter 1
The First Decision
BLEEP! BLEEP! BLEEP!
I wake with a start, not knowing where the sound is coming from. I finally realize that the sound is just my alarm clock, next to my bed. I stop the alarm, start to slide out of bed... and fall clean out of bed, and right onto the floor. "Oh, for the love of.." I mutter, crawling onto my bed with my good arm.
I glance toward the corner at my leg brace, recalling the doctor's words.
"You're very lucky, young man. The fact that your hip works at all is a small miracle in itself," he'd said.
I get up, half-hop, half-hobble to the brace, and work my leg into it.
After enabling myself to stand and walk, I look to the closet for my school uniforms. I find a small army of crisp, clean, unused, green-and-white uniforms waiting for me. Without thinking, I grab one, and go through the small hell of changing clothes. When finally ready, I set out for the main building.
When I (finally) reach the main lobby of the main building, I am stopped by the sight of another person. Judging by his height, I'd guess that he is a teacher.
"Ah, hello there," he says, "You must be the new student."
"Yeah," I respond, with a nod of my head.
"Well," he goes on, "My name's Mutou, and I'll be your science teacher, as well as your homeroom teacher."
"Okay, nice to meet you," I say taking the handshake that I saw coming.
"Well," he says, glancing at his watch, "you were supposed to see the nurse today, before class, but there's no time for that now."
"So, what now?" I ask, "Time to introduce myself to the class?"
"Only if you want to," he responds, which raises a question. Do I?
Hello. I know I created this a while back, but it's not dead! As you might be able to tell, I'm basing the story marginally on the game. Anyway, as promised, interactivity!
