Cloud stopped the bike in Port Bonair's cruise port, not far away from the dock where the buses parked. While the guests were embarking, the two boys kept themselves busy with kisses, hiding behind a metal container. When finally Yazoo parted his lips with Cloud, he whispered into his ear.
„See you soon, Cloud. Don't forget the lube."
„Okay. And I will practice." Sheepishly, he looked aside, biting in his lower lip, almost making Yazoo laugh. The moment would have been ruined if he asked what the blond one wanted to practice with, so instead he just pressed another short, teasing kiss on the rosy lips and left.
From the stairs leading to the inside of the huge ship he looked back. Cloud parked his motorbike a few steps closer so he could see the ship leaving, and was already placing a call.
„Hn." With eyes narrowing, Yazoo turned again and following the last crewmembers in line he stepped inside. He didn't know how wrong he was thinking that the local boy was already talking to his girlfriend. To swap his crew-card, he had to pass in front of Zack, who was checking the list of arriving crew members behind the counter. With a wide grin, the Crew Officer handed him over a folded sheet of paper. Curious enough, Yazoo unfolded it and saw a bad quality black-and-white print of a photo, most likely printed in a hurry.
„That was quick." He admitted, and couldn't help a small smile. Neatly he folded the paper again and put it into his pocket, before the security guards around them could recognize him in the pic, sitting on the backseat of a bike. That specific bike was still there, not too far away.
„Well, you didn't disappoint me, Zack." He nodded towards the Crew Officer, who shrugged chuckling.
„You didn't disappoint me either, Yazoo. But it was Cissney's job. She thought it would look good on the notice board!"
He burst into laughter, and Yazoo flinched. His first thought was to run there and tear the paper off the wall, but he realized it would have been useless, they still have the file in the camera and probably in her PC as well. They can print as many as they want. So he just threw his hair back as if he didn't care and walked towards his cabin. He needed to change for his evening duty quickly. On the corridor he saw a small laughing crowd gathering around the notice board and threw a kiss towards them when they started to whistle. Feeling embarrassed would have been only oil to the fire.
Genesis was already waiting for him in the bar. On the surface, he looked composed and elegant like always, not showing how relieved he felt that his waiter returned. The bar wasn't busy yet. Due to the rough sea most of the guests who stayed on board were seasick, and those who just returned were also in their rooms changing for dinner.
„The Bar Manager was worried. He told me your name was not on the list of those who were transferred by the buses. I thought you missed the departure and stayed ashore."
If he was worried also, he didn't show a bit, although just the fact he cared to mention the confusion made him look a bit suspicious.
While filling up the lower fridge with sodas in an awkward kneeling position, Yazoo let a small 'hn' escape. Enjoying this destination's treasures a bit more wouldn't have been against his taste.
„Someone gave me a ride back."
„Yeah?" Genesis enquired above his shoulder. His low voice sounded teasing and playful, something Yazoo was not used to in the bartender. „Was he handsome at least?"
There was no good denying anything.
„Very much so." Looking up, Yazoo saw the mischievous sparkle in his superior's blue eyes, while Genesis turned his back to him again. Seemingly he returned to his paperwork, but Yazoo suspected that the ginger-haired bartender wanted only to hide his grin.
Without turning back, Genesis shaked his pen towards him.
„Stop kneeling on the floor like this while filling up the lower shelf. Your knees might get dirty and worn if you do that so often. People might get funny thoughts if they notice, you know."
With a low groan, Yazoo hid his head behind the fridge door. Dear Mother, that will be a long and challenging cruise for sure, full of remarks and teases. Even from his superior, who had been behaving quite distant until now.
But sure, to get to the bar from his cabin Genesis Rhapsodos also had to pass in front of the Crew Office's notice board.
