Just want to say that myNoise was a great inspiration for the sounds that Carmen heard!

If you want to replicate that atmosphere, I would recommend combining "Railcar Noise" and "Babble Noise".

And the inspiration for when she wakes up is what I'm like when it's time to get up for school.

"Firs' years! Firs' years!"

"They won't be coming for a minute or two, so you don't have to yell." Carmen told the giant man named 'Hagrid', "Judging by the way Percy (that's his name, right?) was acting, he would probably make each kid line up single file and sort them by height. So just wait a bit for the other students to get out of the train."

"He does act that way..." noted a redhead who was practically identical to Percy, except a couple inches too short,"Ron Weasley, who're you?"

"Carmen." she answered, "And you?"

An awkward silence followed, only adding to the discomfort of meeting a new person.

"So… err… who's that guy next to you? Is he your friend?" Carmen said trying to distract them from her mistake.

"Oh!" said the boy, as if he was surprised that someone cared, "I'm-"

"Oh wait, my brothers here, can you wait a sec?" she interrupted before she started running, "HEY! TOM! TOM! THOMAS! HEEEEEY! TOOOM!"

"She's definitely American" muttered Ron to the boy.

"Definitely." He agreed.

"Welp, now I'm on a boat. With HARRY POTTER, a celebrity, who nobody decided should have some kind of wizard secret-service. And his sidekick. And my brother too, but he's not important."

"I'm not a sidekick!" shouted Ron.

"RUDE." interjected Thomas.

"No one cares about you, secondary characters everyone has already forgotten the names of"

"I AM YOUR BROTHER."

"IT WAS A JOKE. AND NOW IT'S RUINED BECAUSE I HAD TO EXPLAIN IT."

As Carmen and Side Character #1 exchanged glares, Harry noticed something moving right underneath the water…

"Hey… there's something over here." Harry told everyone, worriedly.

"Oh that's just the giant squid, Charlie told me all about it. Apparently it knows how to hi-five and clap tentacles, but he doesn't do that anymore since he accidentally dragged a student underwater and his tentacles got stuck together" said Side Character #2, dismissing Harry's concerns

"Eh, makes sense" Carmen noted.

After that came a silence that just left them sitting there.

"Wait. How is there a giant squid?" Carmen noticed, "I mean, they need a much, MUCH bigger place to live, and they need the water at a certain temperature, too. Not to mention that a big part of their diet is freaking SPERM WHALES. What. The. ACTUAL. FUCK, HOGWARTS."

"It's probably a magic squid." answered Thomas

"Oh, yeah"

And with that, the silence continued.

"Oh hey, we're here" said Thomas, pointing to the massive castle in front of them.

Woo! Another chapter done, done, DONE!

We're finally introducing canon characters!

*party popper noise*
