"We all gather here to pay our respect to our loved one, Kimiko, please take a moment of silence," Hawk said as he sat back down.
It's been two days since Kimiko was pronounce "dead" today was her last day being in this casket. Her plan didn't go as planned, just for her luck they wouldn't do her funeral the same day as her 'death', but it gave her more time to think about her escape. She didn't bother being in there, it was actually quite comfortable.
Shots were fired as each and everyone of her friends paid their respects. There were tears, there was anger, there was a lot of emotions, but none of them felt the same way as Snake Eyes who stood at the back with a red rose. He was the last one to go up to her, he stroke her face and placed the rose between her folded hands, and just like that he walked away. People didn't bother to say sorry, they wouldn't dare.
A few hours later the lights went off and Jaye stood in front of her friend who was gaining back her color, Jaye put a spare of keys under her friend as she walked away closing the door behind her.
"Never again faking this," Kimiko said as she got out of her casket, she sighed as she closed the casket, lucky for her she was a very petite woman so people wouldn't know if she was really in there. She sighed as she took the flower and put it inside the pocket her dress had. She climbed into the air vent just in time before the people came to take her casket away. She crawled all the way to Jaye's room landing in her bathroom, she listened closely to see if anyone else was in the room. When she heard no voices she got out and saw Jaye sitting on her bed, "This is it huh?" Jaye said as she gave Kimiko a back pack. "I'm sorry, I'll come before you know it and everything will be back to normal I promise," Kimiko said as she gave Jaye a pair of scissors, "Cut it," Jaye turned her around and cut Kimikos hair to her shoulder, Kimiko put on a hoodie and army pants, putting the dress in her back pack along with the jewelry that Snake must of bought her, she took all of her makeup off gave her friend one last hug and jumped back into the air vent. She waited until everybody left to put Kimiko underground, once the base was clear she crawled into Snake Eyes room, on his night stand she put the flower he gave her along with a letter she wrote. A tear escaped from her eyes, as she walked away towards her good friend Ace. "I'm sorry, you won't get caught I promise," Kimiko said as she jumped in the plane.
Snake Eyes went into his room he saw a flower on his night stand, not just any flower, along with that was a letter,
Love, if you're reading this, you think I'm dead. Don't come looking for me, I don't want to be here anymore
this isn't me. I want to be safe and no matter how many times I told you that you kept me safe I couldn't help
but feel trapped, not with you but with this life. The reason why I did this, and no I'm not saying that I faked my dead because
I don't even know if I want to be alive anymore, I want to feel free. None of this was your fault. Yes, I LOVE you,
and because I love you I'm going to say this. Forget about me, forget about everything we had, everything we did,
forget the sweet love we made to each other, forget all those times. forget all those play fights, forget ME, just like I'll try and
forget. I love you and wish you the best
yours truly, Kimiko.
Snake Eyes crumbled the piece of paper, and looked across his opened door, Jaye, he thought.
