It's been a two years since since Kimiko 'died', everything pretty much went back to normal, and by normal as in means lots of tension between Jaye and Snake Eyes. After the letter, Snake Eyes put all the pieces together, Jaye helped Kimiko escape, he knew his love wasn't dead, she was still alive.
"Jaye you got a package!" Ace said as he got out of his plane, "From Japan," Jaye said as she read the stamp on the package. "Well, does it have a name?" Duke asked as he walker towards her, "Yes, but I'm not telling you," Jaye smirked as she walked towards her room. She noticed Snake Eyes standing in the hallway, "um...good morning?" Snakes gave her a nod, just a nod. Jaye stood there frozen, "Well, I better get going," she said as she opened the door, before she went inside Snake Eyes threw her some papers. "Jee thanks Snake,"
"I don't get why we have to go, I mean yes we have to, but wouldn't it be easier if only Snake Eyes and Scarlett went? They're more experienced, obviously, she's the closest one we get to Kimiko, if she was still here you wouldn't bother to send us," Ripcord whined as he read the papers. Hawk gave him a glare and turned to Duke, "You all leave at 300,"
"Snake Eyes wait!" Jaye said as she ran up to Snake Eyes, he wasn't having it he pushed her against the wall with his arms, "Don't talk to me." Jaye gulped, even if Snake Eyes was a mute she could still feel the anger when he signed, she nodded as she was dropped to the ground. "Yo! Jaye! You alright?" Ripcord said as he helped her up, "did he do something to you?" Jaye shook her head, "I asked him about Kimiko, he got mad. I'm okay, thank you," Ripcord nodded but walked her to her room, "You didn't have to do this Rip, I'm okay," Jaye said as she closed her door.
"Alright ladies, take a seat and enjoy the ride," Ace said as he dimmed the lights.
"Not to put anyone in a bad mood but, if Kimiko were here she would've made a remark about him dimming the lights," Duke chuckled as he thought about Kimiko, "Man I sure do miss that ball of energy," Scarlett patted his back, "We all do. But you're right, she would make a remark." The team chuckled but soon got quiet when Snake Eyes got up and went to the front with Ace, "I feel so bad for him, what did you tell him that made him go off on you Jaye?" Ripcord asked, "Go off on her? What do you mean?" Scarlett said as she turned her attention to Jaye and then Ripcord,
"He push-"
"Nothing, he didn't do anything. I just asked him what he did with Kimikos clothes and he got, you know, that," Jaye said as she quietly gave Ripcord a glare.
"It's hard," Duke said, "It's hard to lose someone you love, but he has to move on. She's in a better place, poor girl went through a lot."
"You guys are here. Welcome back to Paris. Now don't fuck this up, they still don't like us," Ace said as he dropped off the Alpha team, "Good luck!"
