Summary: Now that the door of his past are beginning to open Drake along with his family and hunters must found the relationship between the mavericks with the white fang and Roman Torchwick not knowing that he has yet to face stronger challenges.

Chapter 10
Drake was anxious; something that it could be very noticeble since he was tapping repeatedly his right leg over and over while resting his back against a wall to the right of an elevator door.
"Could you please relax?" asked Axl resting in the same manner as his brother but in the other side left side.
"I just can`t, the simple thought that someone got in the communication tower while everyone was in the dance is giving me a bad feeling."
"You sure it isn't because Ruby happened to be in the wrong place and time?" asked Axl as he eyed his brother who stopped tapping his leg.
"Not going to deny that one, but she is ok, which is good. Plus, she saw the intruder. So not everything was a loss."
"But…"
"But I can`t just ignore this bad feeling," replied Drake who was rubbing the spot between his eyes, "Plus I just know tin head will want to go ballistic on me, that is annoying me to no end."
"Plus the fact he will find the way to pin this on you… there are a lots of plusses here."
"No kidding." Replied the blonde giving a sigh as the doors of the elevator opened to reveal none other than Ruby Rose.
"So?" asked both brothers the moment the doors opened making the 15 year old jump back in surprise.
"Well… everything is ok, I am not in any kind of problem." Said Ruby as she stepped out of the elevator; "They just wanted to ask me about the intruder."
"Anything you can tell us about him?"
"Actually, it is a her, and professor Ozpin told me he would brief you, oh!, he want to see you by the way… how did he know you were here?"
"He always knows where I am as long I am in the academy." Drake replied as he an Axl entered the elevator, "Go and get ready Ruby, the ceremony before the missions starts soon."
"Yes and I can wait for the six of to go out, this will be fantastic." Ruby replied as she began to run to her dorm while waving her hand at them.
"I totally forgot we were their support team." Replied Axl as the doors of the elevator closed.
"We are also JNPR`s, you can go with them if you want."
"Believe me, I plan to, especially since that way there is more ways for you and Yang to be together." Replied Axl with an evil grim on his face.
"Excuse me?" asked Drake feeling totally confused until Axl showed him pictures of him and Yang dancing together.
"How?" asked Drake as he took the scroll from his brother`s hand.
"X, he really wants to fill the family album of embarrassment." Replied Axl as Drake deleted all of the pictures.
"Good try, but he has a lot of copies." Replied Axl as the doors of the elevator started to open.
"Why must you answer to everything involve a triumphant display of military bravado!? You treat every situation like a contest of measuring di-"
"Glynda!" Ozpin said louder than usual interrupting what she was going to say.
"Are we interrupting something? Even thought she is right." Axl said steeping on the room gaining a glare from Ironwood.
"Can you please help me convince him that waiting instead of taking the military approach it is a bad idea." Said James as he saw Drake walking to the table where the coffee was.
"Ozpin, waiting instead of taking the military approach it is a bad idea," Drake started as he prepared two mugs of coffee.
"But sending an assault squad to tear their door down as if it was a movie from Spruce Willis isn't a good idea either," said Axl finishing for his brother as he sat up in a chair, "What do you expect to happen, that every shout 'yippee ki yay mother fucker!' as if it that was going to give us all the answers we need, get real."
"What Axl means,"
Drake walked to his brother and gave him a mug with coffee as he looked at ironwood, "It is that by doing that we are losing a good chance of not only knowing what the situation is, but also of knowing what they are planning." Drake said as he sat in a chair.
"That is why we are not sending soldiers but scouts instead," said Ozpin as he took a sip from his mug as the two brothers did the same making Glynda sigh in frustration for some reason.
"I do not understand how can you take this lightly, someone infiltrated in the academy in case you haven't noticed."
"No need to point the obvious tin head,"
Ironwood scowled as he looked at Axl, "Besides, do I need to remind you that you have a mole in your rank?" asked Axl while smiling irritating the general to no end, "So instead of questioning people above their actions, I suggest you to leave and solve a problem that literally ran through the city a couple of weeks ago." Replied Axl referring to the incident with the paladin.
Glynda, who had stayed quite and watching with amusement the change of words, now looked at ironwood to see what was he going to say to defend himself only to frown deeper as he looked at Ozpin signaling Axl had won their argument.
"I trust you, if you think this is the best course of action, then I am with you, but I hope you know what you are doing." Replied James and then walked out of the room.
"Is it me? Or did he run just run from an argument?" asked Axl as he raised his fist to which Drake fist bumped hiding his amusement of what just happened, "Now then, mind briefing us of what happened?"
"Are you sure of this?" asked Drake as he walked next to Ozpin.
"Absolutely, besides, you are going with them so that makes things more secure, and I already informed your brother about this, he said he would send some hunters as well." Replied Ozpin as they entered the auditorium.
"We will talk later." Ozpin said as he walked away to give his speech while he walked to Axl who had a 'not in the mood for jokes' face while tapping leg.
"Nothing of Adam?"
"No, and it looks like to pass me your paranoia, I have a bad feeling about this." Replied Axl as they saw Ozpin starting his speech.
"I am going to go with you and RWBY." Replied Axl suddenly, to which Drake shook his head.
"Don't, sending a larger group to scout, it is not something wise."
Axl looked at him, "What if that woman appears again? Even worse, what if he appears again?"
"Don't worry about that, I have an SOS signal that will tell X instantly," Drake replied as he raised his leg arm indicating him.
"Not ashamed of asking the big brother for help I see." Axl said loosening up a little while Ozpin finished his speech.
"Going to see what mission JNPR is doing, see you later."
"Likewise." Drake said as both took their separate ways, Axl to where JNPR was, and Drake to Ozpin who was looking at team RWBY and then looked at his apprentice with an smile making the blonde sigh.
"Lets go then." Drake said as they got closer.
"Any other ideas?" asked Blake.
"We mail ourselves there."
"That looks more like something you do with a pet." Drake said as he appeared with Ozpin next to him while he noticed that Blake frowned for some reason while Weiss beamed an smile and Yang and Ruby laughed nervously.
"What?" asked Drake not understanding what was happening but Ozpin decided to talk.
"Unfortunately, the concentration of Grimm was to extreme for first years students. It seems that particular region is popular."
"In fact, I have the sneaking suspicion that you four will make your way there no matter which job you choose." Replied Drake narrowing his eyes at the small leader who was rubbing the back of her head uncomfortably.
"Whatever makes you say that?" asked Ruby while the rest of her team looked at Drake thinking he had sold them out.
"I'm still curious how you found yourself at the docks last semester. I'm interested to learn how you really know about a hideout in the southeast. And I certainly wonder why witnesses reported seeing robots and rose petals in a dance club some time ago." Replied Ozpin while Drake looked at white, black and yellow waiting for an apology, which he did not get.
"Seeing that you are so eager in bending the rules, we agreed on bending the rules, for this time." Replied Drake almost as if he was forcing his words to come out, something Yang found funny.
"All set." Said Ozpin as the screen now showed that team RWBY had been assigned for search and destroy.
"We won`t let you down. Thank you professor."
"Do not thank me for this. Teamwork and persistence have carried you far. But you must understand, the things that await you beyond the protection of the Kingdom will not care. Stay close to your Huntsman and Drake at all times. And do exactly as they say. They will be leading you on this mission, and They can have you sent back to Beacon, if They finds your skills to be unsatisfactory. Good luck."
Ozpin then looked at Drake.
"No pressure huh." Replied Yang trying to light up the mood, "Relax, with Drake and whoever we are following, this might easy." Replied Yang not noticing the ghost smile Drake was giving her.
'Prepare to feel disappointed.' Thought Drake as he followed them to retrieve their bags.
"Where are your bags?" asked Ruby as all of them started to walk out of the auditorium.
"You will see," replied Drake making her feel confused, but before she could even ask anything.
"Team CFVY is back! Team CFVY is back!"
That got their attention as they saw said team entering the academy.
"Velvet are you ok?" asked Blake who walked to where said Faunus was while Drake stood alone seeing a certain brunette eyeing him.
"What?" asked Drake knowing full well that she was going to critic his clothes.
"Nothing, it just it seems like you are trying to pull an Ozpin at last,"
Drake rose an eyebrow, "Excuse me?"
"Sweetheart, with that scarf and your regular clothes you almost look like a younger version of professor Ozpin, the only thing missing a set of shades… didn't you use to wear goggles?"
Drake who was twitching at the comparison said, "I decided to stop using them, and just because I wear a scarf, it doesn't mean I am trying to imitate Ozpin."
"And here I thought you were finally following his footsteps." Replied Coco with a sly smile expecting him to answer back; something he did not do since he knew this was a lost battle.
"Good luck in your mission, would not want yourself to get killed in your first mission huh?"
Drake chuckled, "And since when do you worry for me?"
"I don't, I worry for them," replied Coco as she looked at team RWBY, "It is a good thing you are not like any other guy,"
'Here we go.'
"4 beautiful girls all for yourself, damn!" replied Coco not dropping her smile as she passed him and tapped his shoulder.
Drake sighed, "It was good to talk with you Prada girl,"
Coco stopped at the nickname, "That reminds me,"
She turned around, "Did you tell your nephew about me? Because he called me by the same nickname."
Drake shook his head while he smiled, "I suppose he and me really think alike."
"Lets hope not, one of you is more than enough," replied the brunette with a sigh and then smiled at him once again, but this time it was a more honest one.
"Good hunt, and don't be a stranger." Replied Coco one last time as she moved her shades down and winked at him, she then turned around and left along with the rest of her team.
"I thought you didn't get along," Ruby said standing next to him.
"Nah, she really enjoys annoying me to no end… and sometimes I returned the favor once in a while, but leaving that aside I would say we are really friends, lets get going, I don't want to make him wait."
"Make who wait?" asked Ruby only to be ignored by Drake who started walking away, making her pout as she walked behind him.
"You know who is the huntsman we are going to follow, don't you?" asked Blake only to receive a nod from his part, "And you are not telling us?"
Drake shook his head again this time with a clear smile, yeah that gave her a bad feeling all right.
"Lets go already, I don't want to keep him waiting."
Everyone simply nodded and started walking again while the blonde stayed a few feet away walking slowly until they reached their destination.
"Why hello there! Ready to fight for their lives?" asked the one and only Bartholomew Oobleck making all 4 girls give stunned expression.
"I hate you so much." said Blake being the first to recover.
"I know, and it helps m sleep at night."
Shame it was a manner of speaking and not the true.
"Professor Oobleck?" asked Weiss only paying attention at the green hyperactive man in front of her who started to pace in front of his students.
"Yes, I am afraid those bags won't be necessary, girls, seeing as you've opted to shadow a Huntsman on what is now essentially a reconnaissance mission. I can assure you, we will not be establishing a single base of operations; rather, we will be traversing several miles of hazardous wasteland and making camp in any defendable locations we may stumble upon. I packed all of our essentials myself, but I suppose Drake here may had tell you already,"
Blake looked at the blonde with a twitch on her eye while Oobleck continued
",plotted our air course, and readied the airship. And..."
Bartholomew zooms up in front of Weiss`s face, "It is doctor Oobleck. I didn't earn the PhD for fun, thank you very much." Replied the man and then 'walked' away.
"Come now, children; according to my schedule we are already three minutes behind Schedule!" replied Oobleck as he entered the bullhead only to show his head out quickly, "And Drake! Can you please come here for a second!? There is something I want to discuss with you."
Drake raised an eyebrow but decided to obey, "Don't keep us waiting." Replied Drake who walked away leaving the 4 girls alone.
"Well, alright, then! Looks like we're going to save the world with Doctor Oooobleck- okay yeah when you say it out loud it sounds worse." Said Ruby suddenly becoming as depressed as the rest of her team.
"Save the world?"
The 4 girls turned around to see team JNPR plus Axl walking to them.
"You are going on world-saving without us? I am hurt…sad! Maybe a little hungry? That last is not your fault, thought, Ren…" said Nora being over dramatic until he looked at Ren who simply crossed his arms and turned away.
"For Oum sake, you were eating the triple you usually eat, I am wondering if your semblance it is simply not being fat." Said Axl making Nora assault him.
"You said that and yet your brother ate 100 times what I ate today!" shouted Nora who jumped at him to bite him in the head only to be held in mid-air making Ren sigh since he just knew that having those two in a mission together would be a pain.
"Sounds exiting, where are you going?" asked Jaune trying to ignore Nora`s shouts at Axl.
"Oh, just outside the kingdom…" replied Ruby watching how Nora was going up and down in the air.
"Hey! So are we! Would you please stop that! I think I am going to throw up!"
"That is the idea."
"Ren and Nora wanted to shadow the sheriff of a nearby village, and Axl said he didn't have any problem since he said a change would be nice."
"Between escaping from explosive hotels and dealing with a giant metallic bird, I think going outside the kingdom will work as a short vacation."
"Your idea of a vacation sucks," said the voice of a familiar Faunus.
Everyone turned around to see Neptune and Sun, "To me there is nothing like going to the beach and enjoy the sun, no pun intended." said Neptune making Yang frown seeing she missed a golden opportunity.
"What are you two doing to then?" asked Weiss to Neptune.
"We are shadowing a crime specialist. All inner-city detective stuff. We get junior badges."
"Piece of advice, always bring donuts." Said Axl getting a thumps up from Sun who agreed 100% with the idea.
"We normally go to the city with you guys, which means stuff's always exploding and junk, so we thought this might be a better way to check out the kingdom when it's, you know... normal." Said Sun recalling the havoc caused every time he went out with Blake, not that he didn't care. But something more peaceful from time to time was also good.
"Well…" Ruby started only to get interrupted one more time by Oobleck.
"Five minutes, ladies!" shouted the man from the bullhead making the 4 girls embarrassed.
"Well… mind taking our backs with you… he said we couldn't take them with us." Said Ruby embarrassed at what was happening.
"Sure thing." Said Neptune who took Weiss`s back much to her delight while Axl got ahead of Sun in taking her back, but it was for a good reason.
"Good hunt." Said Axl as he took her bag while giving her a needle to her without everyone but Ren to notice it.
"In case of emergency." Mouthed Axl making her understand it was for Drake.
"Ok then, now this is settled-"
"Six minutes!" shouted Oobleck once again making the young leader look instantly at the ground losing all cheerfulness and walking to the airship with her team behind her.
"Why didn't Ruby give you her bag?" asked Pyrrha seeing that Ruby had shook her head the moment Jaune tried to get it.
"Beats me." Replied Jaune as he turned around to see Sun flying in the air while Nora tried to get Axl while still been in the air.
"Cheer up, you will get to use Crescent Rose." Said Yang putting a hand on her little sister`s shoulder as they entered the bullhead to notice someone was missing.
"Finally! We can take off now!" shouted Oobleck to the pilot.
"Wait, we are missing someone." Said Blake referring to Drake.
"I am afraid Drake did not seem in any condition to come, therefore I ordered him to stay, now hold up to something! We are going faster than expected since we already lost seven minutes!"
"I don't know if should envy him or not." Muttered Weiss loud enough for the her team to hear while Yang got worried since Drake had said he was more or less better than before, all of this while Blake had a similar and yet different thought.
'For another time I suppose.' Thought the Faunus as she prepared to take off not seeing the frown on Oobleck`s face as he recalled what happened.
(Some minutes ago)
"Don't keep us waiting." Said Drake as he walked to the bullhead not looking back at the girls since he was mentally preparing to get in his mortal enemy, an airship.
"Not feeling dizzy already, are you?" asked Oobleck who just finished speaking with the pilot.
"I am starting to wish Axl would had been able to come." Muttered Drake not standing the feeling.
"You are a huntsman in training Drake, you will eventually have to learn to ignore it."
'Easier said than done.' Thought the blonde as he saw the doctor walk to the entrance of the bullhead.
"It is such a shame Lambert is not with us, we could really use a canine in this kind of assignment, wait a second please." Said the doctor.
"Five minutes, ladies!" shouted the man as he returned to where Drake was.
"Leaving that and your dizziness aside, it is going to be good to be in an incursion with you again young man." Replied the doctor with a smile as he raised his hand.
"Of course, because there is nothing more exiting than running from old structures that are crumbling and Grimm chasing us." Replied Drake with a smile.
"That is the spirit!" replied the green haired man as they shook hands causing Drake to immediately to zone out, something that Oobleck noticed, as well as the light red glow coming from her left arm.
"Drake, are you ok young man?" asked the man as he touched his shoulders making him return back to reality, "I need to go." Said Drake the moment he got out of his trance.
"Is something the matter?"
"Yes, it is a family situation, I need to speck with my brother at once." replied Drake with a hint of hurry in his voice, something it was not normal.
"Alright them, you have permission to go."
"Thank you doctor, I will return as soon as possible."
"I have no doubt you will young man." Said Oobleck as he saw Drake getting off the bullhead by using one of the doors in the sides so no one saw him.
He needed to get answers from X as fast as possible, he also had doubt in knowing why he saw, what he saw by touching Bartholomew, but first he needed to understand what was doing a wounded Vent wearing a uniform of the white fang.
"Where are they?" asked Drake the moment he entered his brother`s office.
"I have no idea of what you are talking about." Said X looking at some papers in his desk.
"What do you me- I don't mean the pictures. I meant Vent and GV." said Drake making a mental note of destroying all the pictures of him and Yang dancing.
"Gunvolt is on a mission and Vent is his navigator, why do you ask?" replied X who mentally gave a sigh an mental note on making an extra copy of the pictures.
"I suppose to mountain Glenn, ain't I right?"
"How did yo-"
X stopped what he was going to say as his eyes widened in realization.
"What did you see?" asked X putting everything else aside.
"Vent laying against some kind of metallic debris wearing bloody clothes of the white fang and also with some blood coming from his mouth. Why did you send them?"
"Gunvolt and Vent were here the moment Ozpin contacted me, both offered to go on a mission, but I decided to sent only Gunvolt for obvious reasons, while I asked Vent to be his navigator." X said as he opened a screen.
"He isn't here, he must had gone with him… and there is no way to contact them."
"Which mean that they are underground unable to get signal." Drake said.
"Or someone is jamming the signal."
"Either way I am going, there are only a few ways to gravely wound a celestial." Replied Drake.
"Wait,"
"You are not coming with me, you need to stay in case something else happens."
"I know that, but considering the current situation… I need you to do something." X said.
"And that would be?" asked Drake while X stood up and walked to him.
"To meet with someone."
"Any idea what it is?" asked a young man around 15 year old wearing an uniform of the white fang as he saw someone of the same age kneeled, looking at a device.
"It is a bomb with… enough to blow a very dense wall."
"Mode of detonation?"
"… it has a gps connected with the detonator,"
"Which means it is set to explode when it reached to a certain location." Replied the GV while Vent only nodded.
"Can you see where is it going to detonate?"
"Way ahead of you, only going to need a few mi-"
"Hey you two!"
Vent, who was about to make an holographic screen appear, immediately stood up and got away from the bomb.
"What are you two doing here?" asked the white fang member in a tone of authority while both brothers stood firm so they didn't screw up their cover.
"Sir, Torchwick ordered us to come and check the bombs." Said GV.
"What is the fool thinking by sending two kids to do this?"
"Sir! We are capable of doing as much as most members sir!" replied Vent getting way to much in character.
"I like your enthusiasm kid, but don't get carried away, go and see if the engineers need help with those paladins, I will take care of this."
"Sir yes sir!" shouted Vent once again and then left with his brother, who smacked him in the face the moment they were far enough.
"What gives!?" shouted Vent rubbing the back of his head.
"It is good to be in character, but not that much." Said the big brother not liking the situation one bit.
"We need to find another bomb and see where are they being sent, there are a hundred of places I can think of, and I am only counting Vale."
Vent nodded, "Yes, but there are still more things at present that we also need to be concerned." Replied Vent as they saw a great numbers of paladins.
"Indeed… you should go now." Said GV knowing full well that his brother was giving him 'Keep dreaming.' look.
"Keep dreaming,"
Gunvolt gave him a blank stare.
"You don't need to worry about me, this time I came fully prepared." Said Vent referring to a certain face like device.
"I don't even know what that does." Replied the big brother, "Besides there is no longer a reason for you to be here."
"First of all, you are going to need to wait and see,"
'I only hope that moment does not come any time soon.' Thought GV.
"Second of all, did you forget the reason why I am here?"
He knew alright, the moment their father assigned their mission, GV did not lose any time in getting to Glenn unfortunately according to his navigator, Vent, there were no sign of human or Faunus activity in the area, making him ask for advice to him, which was what he planned.
The moment the words 'I am going to need an extra hand to search.' Came out of GV, Vent appeared out of the nowhere.
The big brother, concerned for the younger one, insisted him to return, but after giving him various fact and hypothesis he let him come with him.
And as much he hated to say it, it was thanks to him that he was able to find the white fang since Vent knew the history of mountain Glenn.
"But now that we found the place and their base of operation you should go."
"No," Vent said firmly, "We still need to find where those bombs are set to detonate, not even to mention that I can hack of all these paladins."
"You do know that there are at least 50 here."
Vent grinned, "Have you forgotten what my domain is, I only need to hack one and the rest are going to be easy. Besides, according to what we heard, we have at least two weeks and I can assure you that I will be done by that time."
"But still-"
"Let me prove my worth, please." Said Vent interrupting his brother who stayed quite.
"Hey one of you two!" shouted someone getting their attention.
"I need help unloading some ammunition."
"I will go, he needs to help with the paladins." Said GV
Vent gave mental thanks to his brother who then looked at him, "Don't screw up, if something happens to him not only will I feel responsible but mom is going to have my ass, if something happens and I am not here do whatever you can to get out of here, I only hope that works."
"Don't worry it will… thanks G." said Vent only to receive a nod from his big brother who walked away.
"Now then," Vent said as he saw all of the paladins in front of him, "Which one do I chose?"
"You work really hard kid." Said one white fang member as he saw Gunvolt unloading various boxes from a train container.
"Thank you sir."
"Don't call me sir, we are the same range… although we are ages apart. Anyway, lets go we are finally done here."
Gunvolt nodded as he and the Faunus walked back to where most of the members were only to see a crowd gathering.
"Hey what is going on?" asked the Faunus.
"Looks like we have an intruder, a huntress in training no less."
'This might be troublesome.' Thought Gunvolt as he walked through all of the Faunus to get in the first line only to get annoyed.
'Of all people, why did it have to be her?' thought the blonde as he saw an unconscious Ruby Rose trying to get away.
'I am actually starting to be grateful for Vent for tagging along.' Thought the young Dragon as he came with a quick plan.
First he needed to get away to get Ruby and alert his brother to make a distraction of some kind and finally set the bombs to detonate here and now so they could ruin the operation of the white fang, yes it was a very improvised plan, but it was better than nothing.
The blonde then followed various steps from behind as they returned to the area where the train was thanking Oum no one was calling him for something.
Ruby, who started to regain consciousness, identified her surrounding to see members of the white fang and various paladins, she then noticed Gunvolt who pulled out his chain causing her to narrow her eyes at the object until her eyes opened slightly in recognition causing GV to grim as he puts a finger in front of his mouth indicating to stay quiet only to receive a nod.
"Hey boss! We found something you might want to see!"
"Is it good or bad Perry!? Because let me tell you, I have had a day!"
Ruby mentally cursed as she heard the voice, even thought she had only met him twice, she would recognize the voice anywhere.
"It is a little girl." Said Perry causing a short silence until Roman showed himself coming out from the train to see Ruby.
"That would be bad."
"Do you see her?" asked Yang who was worried sick of her little sister.
"For the third time, no." replied Blake who was carefully looking at her surrounding, "What I do see, it is something to worry a lot." Replied Blake making Bartholomew and the rest of her team to see a great number of paladins.
"The good news, we found our underground operation, the bad news, we found our underground operation, and we are still missing miss Rose." Replied the doctor who was trying his best not to shout, even thought he wanted to badly.
"What is it Zwei?" asked Yang who saw her dog getting her attention by touching her leg, the canine than walked to a direction and whined.
"Looks like he caught the scent of Ruby." Said Weiss as they saw the dog walking to the end of a row full of paladins.
"At this rate we will get discovered." Said the Faunus not liking how in the exposure they were.
"I am starting to agree with you." Replied Weiss as they saw a member of the white fang sitting next to a paladin with what it looked was a digital screen.
"No, this is perhaps what we needed." Said Oobleck while Yang had a similar idea as she got ahead or her professor and walked to the Faunus.
"A little more and… don- HM!"
the words of the person cut short as someone grabbing from behind and putting him against the leg of a paladin while making sure he did not talk.
"Ok pal, we are looking for someone right now and you are going to help us find her, and not even thing on shouting because I will send you to next year." Yang said with red eyes while the eyes of the person slightly widened behind the Grimm mask.
"So I am going to put my hand down, do not try anything."
Vent nodded and Yang did as she say, "That is not the way of treating the younger brother of a friend."
"Huh?" asked Yang along with the rest not recognizing the voice of the person in front of them, but they did admit, that it was really familiar.
"Who… ooooh." Yang said as she saw the chains hanging around his neck.
"Howdy Blondie, kitty, flat queen, mister archeologist… and dog." Said Vent as he did a pause to reveal his face.
"I am so sorry." Said Yang as she let Vent go while Weiss gave a blank stare at the comment of her chest.
"Nah it is cool… even thought it did hurt." Said Vent.
"Why did Zwei brought us to him?" asked Blake.
"Zwei must have caught the scent of Drake when he was inside Ruby`s back." Said Weiss as he looked at Vent.
"I am going to suppose you are here in a mission as well."
Vent nodded, "Yes and the things we have found so far are not good, what you see around here is one of them."
"Not that we actually don't care what is going on, but we still need to find my sister." Said Yang getting his attention.
"Oh no, Not Red, she was my favorite."
"huh? You are kidding right, you have only talked to her once." Said Weiss.
"According to my uncle, she is also a weapon maniac, it is only natural to like someone with you same addiction… perhaps that wasn't the best choice of words." Said Vent thinking the last part out loud.
"I found more intruders!"
Everyone turned around to see a member of the white fang in the other extreme of the row.
"Well, it looks like someone found your sister before you." Vent said as he made the digital screen appear again.
"We need to move on!" shouted Oobleck as he looked at Vent, "You have been here more than us, any idea where could miss Rose be!?"
"My best guess is with Torchwick."
"Oh no," muttered Blake.
"The good think is that my brother is near the area, the bad one is that with this our cover is completely blown along with our plans." Replied Vent tapping in the screen as fast as he could.
"That doesn't matter right now! We need to move now!" shouted Yang as they heard a great number of footsteps coming.
"Give me a minute Blondie!"
"We don't have a minute Vent!" shouted Yang as she saw from afar member of the white fang running at them.
"Prepare to open a path!" said Bartholomew as the girls prepared for combat while the members of the white fang gave a victory cry, only to then be suddenly kicked by a paladin.
"That was anticlimactic." Vent said getting their attention.
"Did you just?" asked Weiss as she saw various paladins around them starting to move on their own.
"Hijack the paladin? What do you think?" Vent replied as the paladin that was next to them kneeled him and picked him up.
"I would have been able to hack them all if it wasn't for a certain blonde."
"Lead the way!" shouted Yang totally ignoring what he said.
"This day just keeps getting better and better." Said Torchwick who was walking from left to right repeatedly until he stopped and pointed at a random White Fang member.
"You, take some of your friends and search the area, I don't want any surprises when our visitors come."
'Visitors?' Thought GV as he saw Torchwick sending Ruby to the ground.
"In second thought, this might not be so bad. Thanks you Perry, I really needed this."
Torchwick kneeled in front of Ruby and puts the barrel of his cane under her chin, "How did you find this place red?"
Ruby growled narrowing her eyes and then used her semblance to escape Torchwick.
"Wow!" said the man as he stood up and turned around to see Ruby running away causing the man to smirk as spun his cane aiming the handle at Ruby. Not a second later the handle fires forward catching Ruby by the hood and successfully pulling her back.
"I see you've got some tricks up your sleeve! Let me make this clear; we're not through here yet."
'Gonna need to act soon, but I have to think in away of-'
An explosion occurred in the distance getting everyone`s attention.
'Getting their attention… nice one Vent.' Thought Gunvolt as he saw Ruby running again, but unlike last time Torchwick was not pulling her back, but instead aiming his cane from the opposite side ready to shoot along with everyone around him.
Taking this as the best chance he had, the blonde charged after Ruby and jumped in the air turning around to look at the white fang.
Raising his hand pointing in their direction making an electric sphere appear around him blocking all of the in coming bullets coming in their direction.
"You really need to start seeing who is under those uniforms! This is the second time this happens!"
Gunvolt heard Torchwick complaining from afar and then landed in one of the rails making electricity appear on his feet and using it to ride forward.
"What are you doing here!?"
"If I have to guess, the same as you." GV replied to her as they saw her team with a paladin right behind that had his brother on the shoulder.
"Ruby!" shouted Yang who caught her sister in a hug.
"Guess who just made the first hijack of a paladin in history?" said Vent smiling as his brother pulled down his hood.
"Did you do it with all of them?"
"Most of them thanks to Blondie over there… oh and our cover was blown away." Replied Vent while Ruby quickly explained the situation to then.
"Do you have any idea of why they are charging it all in a train, it doesn't make sense." Said Oobleck looking at both brothers.
"We don't either, what we do know is that there are b-"
Vent didn't finish his sentence as the annoying sound of a speaker followed by the voice of Torchwick.
"Get to your places, we are leaving now!"
"He is doing it now!" shouted Vent while Ruby tried to contact Jaune.
"Don't even try, there is no reception here, G what do w-"
Everyone looked at Gunvolt using the rails to get to the train.
"He doesn't wait for anyone, does he?" asked Blake looking at his brother already getting on the train.
"What exactly is he planning in doing?" asked Weiss.
"The same as us I presume." Said Bartholomew
"We are stopping that train."
"Thanks for waiting for us." Said Weiss as he saw GV no longer using the white fang disguise but his usual clothes and a unconscious Faunus next to him.
"This still doesn't make sense, the entrance to the city is blocked, yeah he will crash the train to open it, but with what point?" asked Vent.
"Hmm… professor?"
"Doctor." Said Oobleck correcting Weiss who was pointing at something she found, "What is that?"
"The bombs?" Gunvolt murmured loud enough for everyone else to hear as the 4 girls made a step back.
"We got baddies!"
Everyone focused at what the young leader said to see members of the white fang coming at them.
"Well, I didn't expect them to go-"
*Beep*
Oobleck interrupted what he was saying as noticed that the bomb activated itself, "Easy on us. Time to go!" shouted Oobleck as every ran to the next container but ordered Blake to break the caboose only to see it detach itself.
"It decoupled itself!" shouted Blake looking up at the doctor while Vent`s eyes opened in realization and ran to the compartment of their current container to find another one while he heard an explosion coming from behind.
"That is not good." Muttered the green haired man.
"Err, neither is this." Said Ruby as she pointed at the bomb Vent found making oobleck run pass them to the next container to see there was another one.
"They all have bombs!"
"There are planning on getting the Grimm in the city!" shouted Vent as they moved to where Oobleck was to see the explosion of the container they were and see Grimm falling in the tunnel.
"Vent!" shouted his brother who was running backwards to the next container, "Deactivate the bombs remotely while we stop the train."
"Got it i-! G duck!" shouted the younger brother to the big one whose eyes slightly opened but did as told to avoid a purple energy attack that instead hit Vent sending him out of the train.
"I got you!" shouted Blake who quickly undid her bow and threw at him successfully wrapping his leg avoiding him to touch ground.
"You are so heavy!" shouted Blake making Ruby and Oobleck to help her while Yang looked back at the direction the attack came only to see someone that caused her eyes to turn red.
"You!"
"Hey Blondie, how have you been?!" asked Veronica who was standing far away.
"Do you know her!?" asked Weiss.
"She attacked me and Drake in the Forever Fall." Said Yang loud enough for Gunvolt to listen causing his eyes to narrow.
"It would be good to kill again,"
'Again?' thought Yang as she recalled what Drake had told her.
"And since he isn't here to save you, this time it is going to be permanent." Said Veronica with a mad grim in the end successfully confusing Yang even more since Drake had told her it was a vision.
'What didn't you tell me Drake?' Thought Yang as he caught Gunvolt looking at her.
"I leave the train to you."
"Huh?" asked Yang to herself as he saw the blonde pulling out a gun from the back of his coat and shot veronica who smirked as purple barrier appeared in front of her to intercept the projectiles.
"Is that all?" asked the woman with a grim to which Gunvolt raised his arm while doing the same.
"Kinda." Replied the blonde as currents of electricity went to the projectiles stuck in the barrier making a connection that enhanced the lighting breaking the shield and shocking her, "Not over yet."
The lighting then took the form of a small claw that grabbed Veronica and threw her out of the train.
"If this is my stop! I will make sure so it isn't alone!" shouted the celestial making a set of chains appear that wrapped Vent who just managed to return on the train thanks to Blake and some others.
"I leave the rest to you!" shouted Gunvolt who jumped after her ignoring the screams of Ruby.
"Leave it Ruby, we also have to take care of things here." Said Weiss as they saw that the members of the White Fang were now really close.
"This is not good."
The number of Grimm that were getting in the tunnel were ridiculous, so much that it was forcing the young blonde to run instead of using the rails since going in straight line was not a good idea.
"Let me go you purpled bitch!"
Gunvolt speed up enhancing his velocity with the electricity the moment he heard his brother`s voice.
"As you wish trash!"
Veronica stopped and threw Vent to were his brother was and send a set of flying blades at them making Gunvolt jump in front of his younger brother crating an electric sphere blocking her attack.
"It must be really a pain to be taking care of such a weakling."
Gunvolt frowned by the sentence as he eyed something behind her and then looked at his brother who was looking away.
"Look at him, he can`t even face you knowing it is truth."
"You sure about that?" Said Gunvolt calmly.
"What are you stup-"
Her sentence got interrupted, the cause, a great number of explosions happened behind her.
"Who is the trash now?" Vent said as he stood up with a digital screen in front of him with a smirk on his face as he saw number of paladins behind her.
"You insufferable brat!" shouted Veronica whose cloak was ruined.
"Stop calling me brat, you look barely the same as-"
He never finished the sentence, instead the next thing that came out of his mouth was red colored substance that came as a tear drop.
"Vent!"
Gunvolt ran to his brother, who fell on his knees and started caught blood as he saw a hole in the middle of his chest.
"I thought I told you, not to do anything without me."
Gunvolt, who was next to his brother looked at the direction of the voice with red eyes to see a figure wearing a cloak similar to the one Veronica was wearing.
"Sorry brother, I was planning on killing that blonde bimbo again," said Veronica as she saw that all of the paladins behind her fell on the ground since there was no one controlling them, this make her give them a mad like grim.
"But I suppose this will also do just fine."

What sounds better for the title of the next chapter, "The boy that wished to be a weapon." Or "To be a weapon.", I also takes suggestions if anyone wants to give any, with the previous names you have more or less idea of where I am going with them.
