A Promise Written In Blood 8

Disclaimer: Don't own Hellsing.

When Seras woke, the smell of dankness hit her nose and made it twitch. She was bound and leaning against a dirty wall. Her head was throbbing painfully. She could even get her hands up to rub her aching head. Someone stalked forward and crouched in front of her. Her senses were telling her this creature was a vampire.

"So you're finally awake."

She never met their eyes. These creatures weren't worthy of the title of vampire. They hardly knew what they were.

"What have you done to me?"

"Oh just drugged you a little."

"Are you the last Crimson Night?"

"I am."

"Did my brother…"

"You're very perceptive for a blonde."

Her head came up slowly and her eyes narrowed.

"Whether or not I live or die Alucard is going to rip the both of you apart."

The vampire just smirked.

"Oh I think he'll care if you live or die Seras Victoria."

Her eyes slid shut and when they came open and red swirled in her eyes for a second before fading out. The vampire paced back and forth in front of her. It was as if the happening made him nervous or something.

"I heard stories of the fledgling of Alucard."

She became wary right at that moment. No one but her father believed that it was possible that she could come back from what happened in the past but here she was and a Hellsing no less.

"Oh what about her?" she said flippantly.

"You assumed it was a woman?" the man growled.

"He's a guy. If he wants to be stuck with someone beside him for eternity he'd probably want a woman besides. I'm a Hellsing named after said fledgling so I kinda got tipped off it was a female. The story is legend in our family."

Without warning a hand shot out and her face turned to the side. Her cheek throbbed painfully. She turned her head forward to look at him. her eyes were flashing and pain was going to be a certainty for this pathetic creature.

"He's going to rip your throat out."

"How about I rip yours out and let him watch."

Then she felt it the flicker of his power. Alucard melted from the shadows. The vampire yanked her up and put her between him and Alucard. Their eyes met and time seemed to come to a stop as their world shrunk to just the two of them standing there. Alucard eyes flashed in recognition. Deja'vu washed over the both of them at the same time. A slow smile graced her features as she tilted her head to the side. The thought of closing her eyes crossed her mind, but she brushed it off. He would save her once more, she had the faith in him to do it. His red eyes shimmered in the dim light as he brought Casull up in her direction. She found it ironic that the same gun that ended her life twice over would do the job once more.

Alucard froze at her gesture. For once in a long time he could feel the flutter of his heart long since dead twist painfully. It was a wrenchingly familiar. He wouldn't believe that it was her, but there was a small flutter of hope inside of him at the chance.

"Go ahead and do it No Life King."

Only three people knew about what happened in Cheddar Village all those years ago that led to Alucard having a fledgling and as far as Alucard knew he was the only one that knew. There was only one way for him to test what he was hoping was true.

"Police girl I'm going to fire my gun now and it's going to rip through your lungs before it reaches that maggot vampire's heart. I know you don't want to die tonight. Do you want to come with me? I can't force you into this. The decision needs to be of your own free will. So, make the choice."

She tilted her head to the side and smiled softly at him.

"Yes."

He smirked and pulled the trigger. A small gasp of pain escaped her as she fell to the ground. He moved to her side at a slow pace and stood over her. The thought of letting her bleed out and make him Masterless crossed his mind but he shook it off. Even if she died there was still a Hellsing that would gain control of him. A number he would remedy soon enough.

"Remember the choice was always yours Police Girl."

He knelt and lifted her up. This image was so familiar to him. So many memories that happened in the span of a couple of minutes in his long life that stuck to his memory like glue.

"Isn't this where I'm supposed to close my eyes Master?" she whimpered.

"Seras…"

"What happened to Police Girl, Master?"

Her eyes slid closed. He couldn't help the smirk as he leaned down and changed the woman he'd wanted his entire life. The one he would make his Queen. They sat there as the change washed through her.

When Seras woke she was in a room she didn't recognize, but the aura around the room she knew with every fiber of her soul. She was in a long black dress as she tried to sit up but didn't have the strength to complete.

"So you did keep your promise to me Seras."

She turned her head to face his voice. He wasn't there but she knew he was there. Being his fledgling she always knew when he was close.

"Master," she whimpered.

He moved from the shadows towards the bed. She held her arms out for him. "I came back like I promised."

"I see that Police Girl."

"Master."

He moved quickly and had her pinned to the bed. He leaned down to brush his lips across hers but a presence in the room made him pull back.

"So it is true."

Alucard shifted to the edge of the bed and stared at the man that was a threat to his Seras. "You've betrayed our line by becoming his."

"It was my choice."

"Alucard as head of this family I command you execute her."

A feral grin spread across her features. Seras wasn't worried either. This was the man that had watched over her, her entire life and a voice she'd often fallen asleep to as a child. Up until the point she remembered she hadn't recognized the man that spoke from the shadows to her. "That's an order, Alucard."

"No."

"You dare…"

"Seras is the true heir to the Hellsing Clan, but your father's orders so it is her I take orders from now."

"I am the oldest… or is this about the slut…"

Before he could say another word Jackal was pressed to his forehead. There was a malicious look on Alucard's face. Seras couldn't help the feelings that came to her watching this. Alucard cared enough about her in the past to threaten her brother for daring to call her names.

"Watch yourself on whom you disrespect."

Seras watched on. She wondered what would happen now. Her brother would no doubt try to kill her because of what just happened if Alucard let him walk away from this.

"Alucard…"

Rising slowly she moved towards him unafraid. His gaze never left hers. She laid her hand on his shoulder gently. "Silence him," she whispered softly into his ear.

"As my Master wishes," he murmured back to her.

Normally there would've been a condescending tone to his voice but now there wasn't any. A feral smirk crossed his features.

"So now you're her bitch?" he taunted the old vampire.

"By your father's orders she is my Master and what she says goes."

The her brother looked at her.

"You're a traitor to this clan."

Seras smiled as he looked up at Alucard.

"See that's where you're wrong. Father always knew that I would belong to Alucard and he to me since the day I came into the world under the light of a blood moon. Once a long time ago…"

She took Alucard's hand in her own. The vampire looked blankly down at her before back to the man that was her brother by blood but not in the way of family. "I made a promise sealed with blood that I would return to his side to fight and love him."

"You believe that bullshit, vampire whore."

Alucard went to move forward but she tugged him back.

"You are supposed to be family."

"I never wanted you. I prayed you would've died the night you came into the world."

"I'm very sorry you feel that way."

She looked at her Master. Closing her eyes she let out a heavy sigh. She released his hand and took a step back.

"Alucard."

The vampire smirked as he dragged the man from his room and shut the door behind him. Seras took a deep breath that she didn't need and sat back down on his bed. A flush stained her cheeks when she realized before too long it would probably be their bed. Laying backwards on the bed she waited for her beloved to come back. It took only a few minutes for him to come back. Blood was dribbling down his chin. Seras watched him stalk towards her. She leaned up and licked the blood from his chin before he claimed her lips.

"Base blood," Alucard growled softly against her neck."You're blood is so much sweeter."

She knocked his hat off his head and wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him. In a blink of an eye his glasses, gloves, vest, and jacket were gone. She reached up and started untying the ribbon around his neck. In a few tugs a silk ribbon of crimson lay pooled on the ground. She knew that he would be her first and last. She was nervous but this was Alucard and she trusted him not to hurt her more than necessary.

****Lemon was here****

Alucard panted softly as he lay above his new mate. She was placing soft kisses on his neck where her mark lay on his pale skin. He lapped lazily at the blood that trickled a bit from the mark he'd given her.

"I love you Master," she murmured sleepily against his neck.

She knew he'd never tell her that he loved her in return but Alucard was a man of few words and his actions spoke louder. They were one now and they would walk together for the rest of eternity.

A/n: That is the final chapter my friends to this story. I May or may not add the lemon part of the chapter in another chapter but I'm glad Ya'll enjoyed this.
