Hello my dear readers. I have a new chapter for you since I've wrapped up 'We Love Each Other'. Hopefully, hopefully, I can start back with this having regular updates with perhaps this being my new primary story.
ThatGuyinPJs: Sorry it took so long, but I wanted to get 'We Love Each Other' done by the one year anniversary of the first posted chapter. I hope you enjoy this one.
green aura: I'm having to take the slow route for Teddie due to them having very little canon supported interaction: a few hours at the Kenen's party plus the assumed weekend they spent together around the 'Who Did it to Trina?' episode. I have to set the foundation for them to be a couple or it looks like they are just bunnies trying to jump on one another, plus Freddie has to get over the fact that his old life is over and Tori really has to get over the fact that she had a thing for Beck.
The Freddie/Jade relationship in this fic so far, I'm a Jedi shipper, so of course I'm going to paint them to have a positive relationship with each other, whether it is romantic or platonic in this case.
Sam? Oh she is a wild card in this fic.
When will Teddie have to separate from living together? Spoiler.
darck ben: Doctor Who is the reference I'm making with comparing the Charger to a TARDIS
Jeremy Shane: Thanks and I hope you enjoy this one.
Agent-M-0167: One day I must write a story where Freddie in one universe uses the Charger as a TARDIS and visit all the other universes that I write.
PD31: Yes, Tori is feeling a little comfortable with their morning routine for a temporary arrangement… being all domesticated and all.
I don't believe he's caught her wearing the glasses yet as she doesn't need them to use her laptop, but when they start using textbooks to study, she'll start wearing. He may make a comment or two about them when she starts wearing them.
If people start misinterpreting their actions as something more than platonic, Freddie isn't going to mind if it keeps the less than reparable guys away from Tori. He hasn't forgotten Steven, what he did to Carly and Tori.
I always have more than one plot going at a time that may cross back into the main plot.
Fanfic-Reader-88: You put two very attractive, single and sexually compatible people together to live together, especially when it has been shown (in the show) that they are physically attracted to one another, something is bound to start happening.
When UCLA is literally just down the road from H.A., it shouldn't be too surprising that a lot would go, especially when the school has such a good Theater, Film and Television Department and Music Department.
Also, just because Lindsey canon-wise doesn't like Trina, doesn't mean she would automatically dislike Tori as she seems pretty respected at the school.
Of course Sam is still her old self. She had no real character development by the end of the series and so far with Sam & Cat: The Series, she's slightly starting to turn her attitude on Cat. If perhaps some of those events are interpreted in this story, Jade and Sam are going to be butting heads very quickly.
Challenge King: I see the Freddie and Tori coming together as acknowledging each other in a romantic sense as a deliberate process. Freddie had plenty of time to do some self-reflecting at the end of the series to this point with his life turning on its head after the girls left. Also, without Carly there, it isn't a two-on-one fight anymore when he wants to defend himself when it comes to Sam's behavior.
Boris Yeltsin: Carly will have a cameo in this story when the story will call for it. The premise of this story requires a certain interpretation of Carly, which I know from personal experience, is considered quite offensive to fellow Creddie fans.
Also, if you're curious, I updated my Parody/Fusion Fic "Galaxy Wars" a few days ago.

Chapter 7
Apartment 316
Venice/Barry Apartments
11811 Venice Boulevard
Los Angeles, CA
Friday, September 28, 2012
Tori pulled on her short hemmed black leather jacket as she stepped out of her room and heard the doorbell ringing. She rolled her eyes for second then called out to the other room at Freddie as she walked to the door, "I'll get it. It's probably Jade and Beck!"
He shouted back from his room, "Okay. I'll be right out."
The brunette took a few strides over to the door and took a quick look through the peephole. She knotted her brow for the second it took her to open the door to reveal Jade. The brunette gave her friend a curious expression and asked, "Where's Beck?"
Jade rolled her eyes and blew out a breath while she walked passed Tori and into the apartment. "Hello to you too Tori. He had a last minute call and had to go for one last audition. It's down to him and some guy named Avan. Apparently they favor and they want one more audition from each of them before they make a decision."
Tori eagerly laughed, "That's great."
Jade turned in place in the foyer, crossed her arms and cocked her head to the side with a slightly disapproving expression.
The brunette's cheer slightly faltered as she responded, "I mean, I'm sorry he's not going with us, but this is his chance: he could land the lead in a TV show."
Jade shook her head and closed her eyes as she muttered, "I know, it's just…"
Tori gave her friend a concerned expression and cautiously asked, "Just what?"
The shorter hair girl studied her long time frenemy, seeing the compassion on her face. She was about to speak, but Freddie stepped out of his room and smiled at the lovely teenagers. "Hey."
Jade bowed her head and mumbled, "Hey."
His smile wavered for a moment then glanced around to see that the girls were the only ones in the apartment. "Ah… where's Beck? Is he waiting in the car?"
Jade answered with a hint of a regretful tone, "No, he had to go for another audition. He's in the final running."
"Well that stinks he's missing the party, but good that he has a great shot for the role and…" He grinned as he glance over Tori seeing her in her leather jacket, worn T-shirt with the words 'Trust a Few. Do Harm to No One' and skinny blue jeans then looked to Jade in her black leather jacket, almost sheer black shirt and her NY Militia Mini-Skirt. "I get to escort two lovely ladies to the party."
Tori instantly smiled from the compliment while Jade raised her pierced eyebrow and gave him a look that would usually cow boys at Hollywood Arts, but he looked back with a curious expression, "I thought I was allowed to compliment you?"
Her somewhat sullen disposition abated with a smirk. "You are." She glanced over to Tori and saw the ghost of an annoyed expression on the longer brunette's face. She suppressed a smirk at seeing the shoe was on the other foot as it had been years ago, but if she was honest with herself, that was far more on Beck's part than Tori's. She wasn't blind to the significance of Tori turning down Beck twice when they had separated for a time.
Jade continued with a slightly impatient tone, "So, can we go?"
Tori shook off any odd feelings of Jade possibly flirting with Freddie and teased, "Eager to party?"
"Eager to reacquaint with the competition."
Freddie slowly asked, "Competition?"
"They're all competition to us now. Only one in ninety thousand becomes a professional actor or actress and I intend to be one of those one in ninety thousand. I'd like to see if any of them got any better…" She shrugged her shoulder and hesitantly admitted, "I'd like to have a good time. The last party I went to was at Beck's for Labor Day… and it was kind of a drag."
Tori playfully teased, "His family still can't stand you?"
Jade narrowed her eyes on the brunette and frowned. She was about to snap back with a cutting retort, but Freddie was quicker, "Sounds like Beck needs to tell them to knock it off with the disrespect."
The girls looked to him in mild surprise.
He shrugged his shoulder and answered, "My mother didn't approve of Sam when we were together, but I didn't put with her mistreating or disrespecting her. He should do the same with them."
Jade slightly frowned at him pointing out one of the many things that hadn't changed with them since they got back together in early May. If he had stood up to them last year, she wouldn't have gone to Yerba in the first place but Cancún. However, she didn't want to think about that right now. "So, are we going to chitchat or go?"
She didn't wait for an answer as she turned and headed out the door.
The roommates passed concerned glances to one another then Tori turned to pick up her clutch purse off the coffee table then they followed the purple highlighted girl out of the apartment.
Delta Kappa Alpha Fraternity House
UCLA
Los Angeles, CA
When Jade pulled her car up across the street from the fraternity house, the party was already in full swing, so much in fact that there were plenty of other college students socializing outside. Jade whistled as she looked out of the driver's side door window. "I didn't realize that many of us were going here."
Freddie rested his hands on each of the front seats to poke his head between them and look around Jade's head. "Wow, are we even going to be able to get inside?"
Tori undid her seatbelt and happily announced, "Only one way to find out." She slipped out of her seat and out the door while Jade shook her head. Freddie quickly followed his roommate example and exited out of the driver side back door with Jade quickly joining them outside the vehicle. She quickly tapped the button to the electronic key remote to lock the car.
The three approached the door with Freddie keeping a weary eye around the other college students. He knew that the vast majority of guys were alright, but unfortunately he had to worry about that tiny minority that gave the rest of them a bad name.
Tori glanced around to the partiers outside and became slightly worried that she didn't recognize anyone from Hollywood Arts.
Jade seemed perfectly relaxed as she reached the door and gave a quick knock. The door opened to reveal a tall, muscular fellow holding a red cup. He had a strong jaw line and sandy (and pretty shaggy) blonde hair. He kind of reminded the girls of Moose. He gave the girls a friendly smile and politely asked, "Do you have your old Hollywood Arts ID or anything?"
Tori knotted her brow and stated with a confused expression, "Ah, no. We weren't told we had to bring them when we were invited."
Jade rolled her eyes then reached into her jacket pocket and pulled out her PearPhone. She blew out a breath and typed on her phone. Once she was done she held up her phone to show her SlapPage then tapped her friends list to show Tori. She thumbed over to Freddie and finished, "Jade, Tori and he's our guest we were told we could bring. Good enough?"
He let out a chuckled, "Yeah, sorry for checking. We keep having people try to gatecrash and this is supposed to be just for Hollywood Arts Alumni."
Tori nodded, but gave him an apologetically expression as she timidly commented, "I'm sorry, but I don't remember you from school, ah…"
He let out an easy going laugh, "Name's Hunter and I didn't go to Hollywood Arts. I went to Burbank High, but I was involved in the drama department and I am a member of the fraternity. We all gravitate to this one. It is a film fraternity after all."
"Oh."
He stepped aside and allowed the three inside and commented, "Have a good time."
Jade dryly commented, "Thanks."
The young ladies were the first inside with Freddie following close behind, but the taller teenager patted Freddie on the shoulder and whispered, "I knew you were the ladies man."
"Excuse me?"
"I recognize you—Freddie Benson. Carly and Sam and now those two? How do you do it?"
Freddie instantly wanted to correct the record, but the look in the guy's eyes told him he wouldn't believe the real story, so softly smirked. "I guess nice guys don't finish last."
Hunter chuckled as he closed the door behind them and let Freddie catch up with the pair.
The Seattle native quickly caught up with them just past the foyer and was able to whisper even over the noise of people taking and music throughout the common rooms to their left and right, "I know you went to school with everyone, but… just watch your drinks."
Jade dryly answered, but there was a hint of support in her voice, "Sound advice."
Tori nodded in agreement as her father had been quite thorough in his talk to her about all the dangers of campus life. She didn't want to become a statistic.
Freddie glanced around while they got further into the house and a little more room to maneuver as it seemed for some reason most people wanted to hang around the door instead of the various common rooms. "Do you recognize anyone?"
Tori laughed, "Almost everyone. I couldn't tell you all their names, but I recognize the faces." She pointed to the corner of one room at a gathering of students. "They are some shruggers over there."
Freddie glanced to Tori with a knotted brow. "Shruggers?"
Jade answered, "They would just sit in the back of the classrooms and shrug and react during the any of the performing arts classes. They were a little more vocal in the other classes."
A lovely blonde quickly approached the trio and happily greeted them, "Freddie, Tori…" Lindsey's smile slightly faded as she recognized Jade. She remembered the pale girl as even as an underclassman, Jade was one of the alpha females when Lindsey was a senior. Jade in turn wasn't exactly thrilled with seeing her as Lindsey bore a striking resemblance to Tara from Karaoke Dokie.
Tori happily replied, "Hey Lindsey. Looks like a nice party. You really got everyone back together."
"Yeah, we made sure the word got out to the freshman. We really want this to be a welcoming experience and let them know they have support. It's a big campus and a lot of people. It can be overwhelming."
The brunette snorted out a laugh, "Yes it can. I thought I was going to have a panic attack in some of the large classes with hundreds of students. I don't know how we're going to learn anything."
"If you need any help, we have plenty of study groups to help."
"Thanks."
Lindsey motioned back with a hand to the spread of food and drinks set up at the far wall of the left side common room, keeping a particular eye on Freddie as she offered, "Let me get you something to drink."
He put on a semi-worried expression while glancing at the girls he self-appointed being their escort.
The blonde laughed, "Don't worry, no one's serving alcohol. This is mainly for the freshmen and campus police are around to bust anybody that tries. We're not going to let anyone spoil our celebration."
Freddie laughed, "Good to know."
"Since you're the famous Freddie Benson and I know going to be hanging around us Hollywood Arts Alumni and probably be an honorary member in no time, I might as well introduce you to as many people as I can." She smiled and looped an arm through him and started leading him away from the girls and towards to the food and drinks.
Tori immediately frowned at the sight for some reason, but remained silent.
Jade immediately spotted the change in expression. She would have loved to tease her former rival, but this was neither the time nor place and the fact that the pair were temporarily living together would be too insensitive to the situation. In a surprising feeling to herself, she felt a momentary bit of compassion towards her one time frenemy and whispered, "Just remember who he's going home with at the end of the night."
The brunette turned her head and looked in mild surprise from the unexpected support.
There were a number of teenagers and one or two twenty year olds around the table chatting when Lindsey walked Freddie over. She quickly started introducing him to the fellow students, but leaving off his last name while Tori and Jade caught up with them. They didn't need any introductions as the others immediately recognized them and started with the expected questions of how they were doing and what had they been up to during the summer.
While Lindsey left Freddie in the company of several students and was off a few feet down at one end of the table getting him a drink, the former Seattleite was speaking to a girl that bore a striking or more accurately identical resemblance to one of his fellow seniors from Ridgeway.
The short brunette with homely features and quite lovely laughed, "You're Freddie Benson."
He responded with a crooked smile, "Am I that recognizable?"
"Yeah… but my twin sister graduated with you this year at Ridgeway."
His eyes opened wide and questioned, "Your twin sister?"
"Yeah, I don't know if you remember her: Eva Cohen?"
He took a moment to think on the name then remembered it as he had shared a number of classes with her and remembered that she was one of the girls that had a brief crush on him after his encounter with the taco truck. "Yeah, Eva. I know Eva. We had a few classes together, she's a sweet girl."
She laughed, "She's the sweet one? I guess that makes me the evil twin?"
Freddie let out an awkward laugh then partially recovered to asked in what he hoped was a joking manner, "How about I get to know you before I make such a judgment? How about your name first? I never picked up on her mentioning she had a sister."
"I'm Ava… parents wanted rhyming names. I graduated from Hollywood Arts with Jade and Tori…"
Freddie could hear a bit of sourness in the short girl's voice when speaking Tori's name, wondering if she had the same feelings when it came to his roommate as Jade possessed in regards to treatment back at the high school.
"…I graduated valedictorian there."
"Congratulations."
She shrugged a shoulder and glanced away while replying, "Yeah, thanks. I just wonder what good it's going to do for me here when—" She glanced around his left arm to see Tori speaking with another 'shrugger'. "—it could be a repeat of Hollywood Arts with favoritism whether than performance ability."
He tried to maintain his polite smile as he was caught in a tight spot with being sympathetic to Ava and Jade's concerns while the apparent obstacle (fairly or unfairly) being Tori.
Ava continued in a pretty cheerful tone, "So it's pretty obvious you're going here and Jade and Tori's guest, but why? Why come down here?"
"UCLA has a good computer engineering program and… there wasn't much left for me up in Seattle: Carly's in Italy and Sam… well it turns out that after she left Seattle, she came down here. She's rooming with Cat. I don't know if you know her. She has red hai—"
Ava laughed, "Everyone knows who Cat is. It was hard to miss her at Hollywood Arts even if there were several others that had the same hair color. She's… very much a child. I don't know if it's an act or if she's really developmentally challenged. I don't know how she's going to function in the world, but… Sam's really rooming with Cat?" She softly shook her head. "That's a combination isn't it?"
He shrugged a shoulder. "They seem to make it work for the moment."
Lindsey slid up next to Freddie with a cup in her hand for him and wrapping her arm behind his neck to rest her hand on his left shoulder. "I'm sorry to interrupt, but here's your drink."
Freddie graciously accepted the red plastic cup and took a quick sip. He whished it around his mouth as discretely as he could manage and fortunately didn't taste anything out of the ordinary to his Peppy-Cola. He casually took another sip when finding nothing wrong with it.
Ava caught sight of another random Hollywood Arts student and commented, "Oh, I see someone I want to catch up with. If you'll excuse me?"
"Sure."
She walked around him and commented, "It was nice meeting you. I'll see you around campus?"
"Yeah."
Lindsey sweetly inquired, "Making friends already?"
"I guess. It's an odd coincidence, her twin sister graduated with me this year. I didn't know she had a twin."
The blonde laughed, "Small world?"
"I guess so."
Lindsey looped her arm around his again then turned him to another group of students. "Let me introduce you to a few more people, my graduating class."
Freddie hung around the food table as he chewed on another pretzel that Lindsey had suggested. Of course it made him quite thirsty and she offered to get him a refill of his drink, which she was graciously doing at the moment. He had to smile a little bit for her effort to make him feel welcomed at being the odd one out as he really didn't want Tori or Jade to feel obligated to be his babysitter when they could be enjoying themselves with catching up with their classmates. As Jade had told them before leaving, she was eager to assess her competition.
He had lost sight of Jade, but could see Tori at the other end of the room around the door chatting with someone that looked familiar, Ginseng or something like that. He just couldn't place the name at the moment. He continued to glance around until he looked wide eyed in surprise at seeing the blonde former web-hostess slipping up beside him without realizing it and stuffing her face with food. "Sam?"
The blonde turned as she was midway in eating a piece of pizza. She swallowed the mouthful and frowned at spotting him then muttered, "Freddie."
He slightly shook his head. "What are you doing here?"
She confidently smirked as she answered, "Cat was invited and I'm here to make sure the guys behave themselves around her or I'm going to break out my butter sock and beat them with it." Sam glanced a protective eye over to see Cat as the redhead happily talking to Ava across the first floor and in the right sided common room.
He slightly tilted his head to the side and thought on the blonde's words. Unfortunately, he barely knew Cat, but from the impressions he had of her and her Slap videos over the last year and from Ava's description of her, she did strike him as a very childlike and naïve girl. She really could use someone to watch out for her. "Good idea."
Sam was slightly taken aback from the statement. "Good idea? You approve of my using my butter sock on someone?"
"We both know that among all the good guys, there is that little group of losers out there that would try to take advantage of a girl in a second if they thought they could get away with it, so why wouldn't they deserve to be at the other end of your butter sock? You can finally use your bullying powers for good."
Sam returned with a frown as Lindsey came back with Freddie's soda.
On the other side of the room towards the main door, Tori happily chatted with a number of other students that graduated with her this year, the previous year's graduates plus Sinjin, but all the while discreetly keeping an eye on Freddie. When she spotted Sam, she more or less tuned out what Sinjin was saying as her concern immediately jumped in that the former friends could get into some kind of confrontation.
She was pulled out of her concern with a different sweet, but familiar voice, "Tori?"
Tori turned to face the owner of the voice and nearly froze in place when she spotted someone unexpectedly as Sinjin had moved on. It took her a few moments for her mouth to function in asking, "Ryder?"
The handsome nineteen year old let out a nervous chuckle, "Yeah, it's me."
"I… I wasn't expecting to see you here."
He answered with a surprisingly bashful tone, "Well, I'm part of the welcoming committee."
The annoyance and hurt that she felt for him quickly resurfaced to dispel the surprise in seeing him. She replied with a voice filled with sarcasm, "Yes, because you're such a welcoming face."
Ryder's smile slightly faltered, but pressed on, "I can be…"
Tori wrapped her arms over her upper abdomen as she really couldn't cross them with her soda in her hand and counted with a disbelieving tone, "Really?"
"It's been about a year and a half Tori. People change… they grow up and learn from their mistakes."
She raised a disbelieving eyebrow. "Using and disregarding girls after you got your grade is something you grow out of?"
He gave her an embarrassed smile. "Shame can be a powerful motivator in wanting to change."
She was slightly taken aback by the answer.
As she tried to recover, Freddie slipped up to Tori's left without either of the pair noticing him. He protectively wrapped an arm around her shoulders and smiled to the brunette then back at the taller teenager as he interrupted with a lively voice, "Hey Tori, who's your friend?"
Tori only slightly flinched from the unexpected contact, but immediately relaxed into it as if it was commonplace and quite natural for Freddie to wrap his arm around her.
Ryder's pleasant smile slightly wavered as he looked at the muscular teenager. He politely greeted the new arrival, "I'm Ryder. I use to go to Hollywood Arts. I graduated last year. And you are?"
The former tech-producer took another sip (actually almost a gulp) from his drink then returned with a guarded smile, "Nice to ah meet you Ryder. I'm ah… Freddie."
The taller teenager snapped his fingers and asked, "You look familiar. I know I've seen you someplace before, but I don't remember you from Hollywood Arts."
Freddie chuckled a little louder than he intended, "No, I didn't go to Hollywood Arts. I'm here as Tori's guest. Lindsey said she could bring one."
Ryder looked back and forth between the pair and noticed how relaxed Tori was next to the muscular teenager. He glanced to Tori and casually asked, "Boyfriend?"
The brunette's mouth dropped open, unable to form a response, but Freddie took advantage of her hesitation and answered with a little more gall than he expected of himself, "It depends on how you ah… define 'boyfriend'."
Tori snapped her head and looked to her roommate with a shocked expression.
Ryder gave a slight nod of his head and commented, "Well you're a fortunate guy then. I know I threw away an opportunity."
"Yes, I'm quite fortunate to have Tori in my life."
Freddie held his stare on the taller male for a few moments, which for some reason he was finding it a little difficult to do for the moment. He wasn't intimidated at all by Ryder, but his focus seemed to be slightly off. Ryder finally let out a nervous laugh, "Well it was nice to see you again Tori. I'm going to go check on some of the new students. I'll see you around." He turned and headed for one of the back of the house towards the kitchen.
Once he was out of sight, Freddie slipped his arm away from her shoulders (which the lovely brunette immediately missed the warmth) and took another sip from his drink before stating in an apologetic tone, "I'm sorry, that was out of line, but I didn't ah think you were that eager to talk to him from what I could see before I walked over here."
She looked back with a supportive smile. "It's okay. He was… he was a guy I was interested in seeing just after… after Steven and the one I wrote the song I performed at the Full Moon Jam."
Freddie's eyes opened and his mouth parted in an 'O' shape. He continued with a slightly slower voice, "Oh? He's ah, he's ah the guy you sung about? The one that you ah… thought would crawl back to you?"
"Yeah."
"I can see why you'd be interested in the first place."
She arced an eyebrow.
"I'm quite familiar with the good looking guys that catch the girls' attention and I would expect from your song he was a pretty nice guy, so… it's not hard to be interested in him."
She turned her head away in embarrassment as she answered in a slightly shameful voice, "Yeah, I got fooled pretty good… and right after Steven."
His face fell as he replied with a supportive voice, "I'm… I'm sorry."
"Yeah… he was giving me the speech about him changing and growing up and learning from his mistakes."
He blinked several times as he tried to focus on Tori then answered, "He ah… could be telling the truth. I do believe in redemption."
"He could be. After the Jam, he did do something good for us."
"Oh?"
"We had to re-audition to stay in Hollywood Arts after our last principal left just before the end of our junior year. I and everyone else re-auditioned, but he organized the seniors and the freshmen to protest against it. He brought it up on how unfair it was to do that to them as they were about to graduate or the freshmen that had just done that to get in the last September or January for those that came in for the second semester. I don't know how much he cared about the other classes to make sure she stopped the re-auditions for the other classes, I think that was pushed more by TheSlap page's webmaster he partnered up with—Dusty I think his name was and I think Cat dated him for about a week last summer—but anyway he kind of got redemption in the eyes of the rest of the school."
Freddie patiently listened to her explanation even if for some reason her words to his ears kind of seemed muffled and ran together. He hesitated then answered, "Maybe, but… he didn't play with their heart and emotions."
She bowed her head in a bit of shame.
He gently rested a hand on her upper arm and stated, "It's alright to be mad at him and you didn't do anything wrong, just like you didn't with Steven."
She looked up to see his warm smile and it instantly reassured her because it was directly solely at her.
They were interrupted when Lindsey approached them with her ever present smile. If either was really paying attention to her, they may have noticed that it wasn't as bright as the other times when she looked at Freddie standing so close to Tori.
Freddie took another gulp from his cup then laughed to the girls, "I chugged that drink down pretty quickly. I guess those pretzels really made me thirsty."
The blonde graciously offered, "Let me get you another refill?"
He answered with his boyish grin, "Thanks."
Freddie was back at the food table with Tori and Lindsey as he enjoyed a piece of pizza. It was delicious, but after he finished it, he started feeling a little queasy. Freddie took a sip from his drink that Lindsey had brought in the hopes of settling his stomach as the carbonated drink would usually help. He contemplated whether to go to the kitchen and see if they had any saltine crackers. Suddenly that became a good idea as he felt he was about to hurl up the food he had been snacking on over the last hour. He whispered over to Tori, "I'm going to the bathroom."
"Okay."
He quickly turned and headed up the stairs.
Lindsey smiled to Tori and suggested, "I'll make sure he gets to one; I know where they are." She turned and quickly followed him before Tori could say a word.
Freddie found a bathroom on his own and was currently standing in front of a mirror while balancing himself by gripping the countertop. He looked into the mirror, but couldn't focus on his reflection. He rapidly blinked in an effort to do such a thing. His inability to focus wasn't the only thing that was becoming disconcerting to the teenager as he was starting to feel quite uncomfortable in his jeans.
Lindsey slipped up behind him with wrapping an arm around his waist and offered with a concerned filled voice, "I think you need to lie down for a moment."
About ten minutes had passed since Freddie left with Lindsey right behind him and it was creating a pit of worry in Tori's stomach. She glanced around to the other party goers, but couldn't spot her temporary roommate. She casually walked over to Jade and interrupted her conversation with Ava, "Have you seen Freddie?"
Jade finished taking a sip from her drink and answered, "No, why?"
Tori continued to glance around to see if she could spot him as she answered, "He said he was going to the bathroom, but he's been gone for a little while and… Lindsey was gone to check on him."
The fellow actress blew out a slightly irritated breath and replied with a dismissive laugh, "Then let's go find him if you're so worried. What do you expect Lindsey to do?"
Freddie groggily walked towards the foot of the bed in one of the fraternity brothers' rooms with Lindsey supporting him the entire way. She walked them around to one side then helped him practically collapse on the twin size bed with his arms sprawled out to his sides.
The blonde wickedly smiled down at the sprawled out teenager. She crawled up on the bed and hovered over his prone form. She licked her lips and shook her head in mild surprise as she was amazed at how she had to dose his drink three times with the last one being double the amount she had put in the other two. His constitution was pretty impressive to resist what she gave him and she regretted that they couldn't do this when he was fully awake since he probably could have gone all night with her, but she could tell he was way too hung up on Tori to respond to her advances, possibly even Jade as he seemed comfortable with Hollywood Arts resident gank.
She reached for his belt and quickly undid it then started unbuttoning his jeans and pulled the zipper down to reveal his blue boxers. She spread her right hand open and started rubbing her palm over his cotton covered manhood, helping it along for her to really enjoy him.
She was about the open the fly to his boxers, but she felt overwhelming pain in her scalp and screamed from the sensation of her hair being nearly ripped out of her scalp from Tori entangling her fingers in her hair pulling the blonde away from Freddie with all her might then being flung onto the floor. Lindsey quickly pulled herself onto her hands and knees, trying to ignored the pain from her scalp.
She growled and was halfway standing up, but Jade brought the bottom of her boot up then kicked out hard at Lindsey's behind. She flung her arms out and flew forward to stumble a few steps before landing face first on the hallway floor. The pale teenager quickly closed the door and locked it while Tori tired to wake up Freddie by shaking his shoulders.
Jade stopped and looked stunned at the sight of Freddie spread out on the bed and his jeans undone. She was finally able to mutter out, "What happened?"
The brunette motioned her head over to the laid out blonde and muttered in disgust, "It looks like blondie over there slipped something in Freddie's drink and… she wanted to get really frisky with him."
The darker brunette looked wide eyed and formed an 'O' with her mouth as she uttered, "Oh."
Tori softly slapped the side of Freddie's face, but she wasn't getting any response from him. "Come on Freddie, wake up."
Jade blew out an impatient breath as she walked to the other side of the bed and climbed on it on her knees. "Tori, if you going to slap him to wake him up then slap him." She brought her hand back and slapped him across the right side of his face. He turned his head, but she pulled her hand back with a loud hiss if pain. She grabbed her hand and softly bit her bottom lip. She looked down at the passed out teenager and wondered what in the world just happened. "Jank, that hurt."
Tori looked at her one time rival with a confused expression on how she could have hurt her hand on slapping Freddie. She shook her head then muttered with an impatient tone, "Just don't stand there, help me; he's heavier than he looks."
The fellow actress motioned toward Freddie's midsection and suggested, "You might want to ah… zip him back up?"
The lighter brunette looked to see that Lindsey had been able to undo Freddie's belt, unbutton and pull the zipper down of his jeans. In Tori's mind, if had been a few seconds later, Lindsey might have worked Freddie out of his boxers. She hesitantly reach to pull his fly close to zip him back up and button his jeans, but she instantly blushed as the edge of her palm brushed against him and noticing a slight twitch. She quickly cleared her throat and buttoned him up then finished zipping him up with a little difficulty.
Tori scooted to Freddie's left and slipped under one arm and attempted to get him on his feet. She may have admired his muscular physique, but she immediately realized the downside of it making him quite heavy. Fortunately Jade slipped under his right arm and took a hold of his right wrist over her shoulder to support him between the pair.
Jade counted off to three then the pair was able to pull him off the bed and to his feet. He seemed to groggily come to enough to put one foot in front of the other and taking some of the load off their shoulders.
They quickly as possible reached the door only a few feet away from the end of the door. Lindsey were sitting on the hallway floor with her back against the opposite wall, holding her bloody nose from the apparent striking her face against the floor. Jade looked down in disgust at her while they passed her.
By some miracle, they were able to walk him down the stairs. Some of the guys were whooping and whistling at seeing Freddie apparently walking through and out of the house with a woman on each arm, not realizing that he was nearly comatose.
Cat standing in the right side common room with Sam and Ava, looked at the three with evident concern while Sam looked on in confusion.
As they passed the roommates, Tori hissed out to Sam, "Not one janking word."
Sam blinked in surprise while Jade looked on impressed at the fierceness displayed from the normally easy going girl.
The three continued on their way and headed out the door.
Jade opened the back passenger door to her car then slipped behind him while Tori supported almost all his weight for a moment. The pair of girls was able to get him in his seat, which he immediately fell over on the backseat. The pale teenager blew out an annoyed breath, but quickly disregard it and walked around the other side of the car. She opened the back passenger door and took hold of him by his armpits to pull while Tori pushed with his feet.
Once he was lying on the seat, they closed their respective doors then walked around the car to take the opposite front seats.
Cat and Sam caught up just in time at the other side of the street just in time to see Jade pull away from the opposite curb and drove away.
Apartment 316
Venice/Barry Apartments
11811 Venice Boulevard
Los Angeles, CA
Friday, September 28, 2012
The door to the apartment cracked opened and Tori pulled out her key then Jade pushed the door open with her foot as the pair walked the former Seattleite into the apartment. Jade threw her foot back and closed the door behind them then the pair started making their way to the couch with their 'passenger'.
Fortunately, he was still able to follow their steps, but for all practical purposes, he was out of it. They made it a few more steps into the living room and around the couch to drop him on it. He easily collapsed on it and Tori quickly pulled his feet up to rest at the end of the armrest so he wouldn't hurt his back at lying at a weird angle.
Jade muttered in disgust, "Chizz is he heavy."
Tori took a few labored breaths and answered, "It's all the muscle I think. I guess it's the downside of looking that good."
Jade lifted a corner of her mouth and raised her eyebrow towards the fellow brunette.
Tori quickly snapped back, "Oh what?"
The purple streaked hair girl shook her head and muttered, "Nothing."
The pair looked down at the surprisingly peaceful looking muscular teenager for a moment before Jade let out a surprising snort of a laugh.
The lighter brunette shouted with a hint of indignation in her voice, "What's so funny?!"
Jade was momentarily caught off guard from the brunette snapping at her so viciously. "Ah… I'm laughing at the irony. He was so concerned about us he didn't realize he was the one being dosed with something."
Tori looked away for her former rival down to the passed out former technical producer. She wanted to snap out about how it wasn't something to laugh at, but her anger deflated as the situation truly hit her about what almost happened to him. She whispered out in a nearly hollowed tone, "He gave me his keys to the apartment to make me feel safe while he was staying—there wouldn't be any possibility to slip in my room during the middle of the night."
Jade looked on in confusion while asking, "What did you do?"
"After we came back from having dinner at Cat's, I gave him the keys back. He's hiding a lot—some I guess you know about, but I don't—but I wanted to show that I was taking a leap of trust with him." Tori shook her head and palmed her forehead as she muttered, "Oh my God, how am I going to explain this to him?"
Jade stated in a tone that that she was speaking the blindly obvious, "Ah, you tell him the truth."
The younger Vega sister snapped her head up and challenged, "The truth? I took him along as my guest for a party with the people we went to school with and in the process he's nearly raped by one of our former classmates?"
The pale girl crossed her arms under her chest then patiently answered, "You don't have to tell him the whole truth."
Tori furled her brow, squinted her eyes and raised her top lip as she questioned in complete confusion, "Huh?"
"Just tell him that he accidentally picked up your drink and it affected him. We got him out of there and took him back here when we realized what was going on. He doesn't need to know he was the target or what she was about to do. He's probably not going to remember what happened the last ten—fifteen minutes of the party."
Tori asked in near disbelief, "So lie to him?"
"No, just don't tell him everything. You don't want him to freak out about what happened."
Tori frowned and glanced to her passed out roommate and contemplated her former rival's suggestion. She looked back up and softly challenged, "What about Lindsey?"
Jade shrugged her shoulders. "When is he going to see her? He's going to be in the computer department, not theater and film department."
Tori quickly motioned back and forth between them with her pointer fingers. "Ah, we're in the theater, film and television department."
The shorter haired girl cocked her head to the side and asked, "You're expecting Freddie to visit you after he moves out?"
"I expect him to visit both of us and Cat in the department. I was going to be his friend and after your car shopping, I expected the same from you."
Jade clenched her jaw tightly as she didn't want to ever tell Tori she was right, but… "I see your point." She blew out a quick breath then continued, "If it comes up, we'll deal with Lindsey. Just because it's college doesn't mean I can't make someone suffer for a long time. Worst comes to worst, we'll turn Sam on her. Sam owes him plenty. Maybe she can take some of her bullying out on her."
Tori crossed her arms under her chest and took several calming breaths as she thought on Jade's suggestion. They got into a short staring contest then the darker girl blew out a breath in frustration. "Okay… we'll play it your way, but if he finds out—"
"I'll take the blame, okay?"
The brown eyed girl looked to the blue eyed girl with a slightly weary expression as she wasn't entirely comfortable with the idea, but she didn't think she had a real choice as she didn't believe she could handle the fallout of it coming out in the morning.
Jade cleared her throat and offered with a slightly hesitant tone, "Do you want me to stay for a little bit? Can I help?"
"Unless you want to help me try to get him to his bed, I'll be fine keeping an eye on him."
The pale girl rolled her left shoulder. "I think I'm already going to be a little sore in the morning with carrying him already, but if you need me—"
"I'll call."
Jade nodded her head then turned to leave.
Tori called out, "I'll see you later. Drive safe."
"Later," she called out as she opened and locked the door behind her before exiting the apartment.
The former Hollywood Arts student took a deep breath then slowly let it out. She walked to the end of the couch and started untying his shoes then pulled them off to sit underneath the coffee table. She turned to walk to his bedroom and less than a minute later came back with a light blanket. She leaned over and placed the light blanket over him. She placed a soft kiss on his forehead then retreated to her room to change into some sleepwear so she could take a seat in one of the cushioned chairs to watch over him for the night.
Author's Note: I bet you didn't expect the night to end in that manner. I decided to flip expectations. In this chapter, I will admit there is a few purpose nods to some fics by other authors. Hopefully the next update will be next Monday. I'm debating whether this story will have a Monday or Thursday update. Later.
