Chapter 1
Victoria shrieked as she felt herself being pulled, with a tingling feeling at her navel as if she was being apparated. All she could see was a blinding white light.
"Am I dead?" Victoria winched as she covered her eyes to keep the glare off. Then, after what seemed like forever, she felt her feet touch solid ground and the light fade. She blinked and looked around.
"What the? Where am I?" she sputtered. It kinda looked like one of the temples she knew from home, with lots of trees and several bridges. But the sky was pitch black, and there were various flying mechanical devices in the sky. Then, she turned around and let out a loud gasp.
"Shenron!" she gaped at the large green dragon, who was in front of what appeared to be a gigantic sand0glass. She had never actually seen the dragon herself, but she had heard enough stories to recognize him.
"Farewell!" the dragon states before fading. Then, seven yellow orbs shot up into the sky and flew off in different directions. A second later, the sky turned blue. Victoria frowned in confusion.
"What the heck is going on?" her ears perked up at the sound of footsteps, and whirled, gaping at the sight of a very familiar face.
"Trunks?" she sputtered at the young man. Or, at least it looked like Trunks. He was dressed in a grey vest, with a large sword strapped across his back.
"You're surprised, I'm sure." He said. Victoria stared at him for a minute in disbelief.
"What the hell, Trunks? What's wrong with you?" she screamed, causing him to blink and take a step back in surprise.
"W-what?" he sputtered. She hissed as she clenched her fists.
"Don't you have better things to do than zap me up when I'm minding my own business! Did my brother put you up to this? Or was it Bulla? I'd bet she pull a stunt like this. I don't get what Gabrielle sees in you." She hissed. Trunks looked very frazzled.
"W-well, I'm not sure who or what you're talking about, ma'am. I'll explain all of this to you later." Victoria balked.
"But for now... let's see how much power you have!" Then, Trunks pulled his sword out and charged at Victoria. She shrieked and leaped into the air.
"Ok, you've lost it!" Trunks shot into the air after her. She whirled and kicked him across the face, before quickly following up with several rapid punches to the gut, causing him to gasp. He quickly countered by firing a yellow ki blast , which she narrowly managed to block by crossing her arms. She lowered them just in time to see a fist hit her in the side of the fast, sending her spiraling back. She hissed as she wiped the side of her mouth. Then, she cupped her hands.
"Ka… me… ha… me… HA!" she roared as she fired a large blue blast at Trunks, who smirked as he held his hands out. A second later, the blast exploded, sending smoke everywhere. Victoria coughed as she waved the smoke away from her face. She looked down to see Trunks standing still, looking up at her with a smirk on his face. He didn't even seem fazed.
"Whoa, okay. Trunks seems a lot stronger than the last time I saw him." Victoria frowned as she balled her fists and prepared from Trunks' next attack. But, to her surprise, he smiled and tossed his sword into the air, tilting to the side to let the sword slide in with a loud clang..
"You're strong. Sorry for attacking you, but I had to see if you were strong." Victoria frowned as she floated to the ground.
"What's going on, Trunks? And why are you dressed like that?" Victoria snickered. He chuckled.
"I'm Trunks, but I'm probably not the one that you're acquainted with. And I didn't chose you. You were brought here by Shenron. He chose you." Victoria frowned at Trunks. She frowned as she looked at the sword.
"Wait… wait a minute! You're that Trunks that time traveled back to the past and beat Frieza! You changed the past so that those psycho androids didn't destroy the world! Gohan told me stories about you when I was a kid." Trunks chuckled and nodded.
"Well, now that the introductions are out of the way, let me explain. I'm on an important mission. As you can see, this place is not the same as the world you're familiar with." Victoria nodded
"That's kinda obvious." Trunks smirked before continuing.
"This is the Tokitoki world, where the flow of time of time gathers. We're known as the time Patrol." Victoria blinked.
"Time?" Trunks nodded.
"When history goes off course, a false timeline is created. The time patrol works to fix any of these changes. As Time Patrol members, we fight all throughout time." Victoria sputtered.
"Wait, wait a second. Basically, you guys travel through time to whenever to… keep history normal?" Trunks nodded.
"Sometimes, we deal with legendary fighters… or dangerous forces." Victoria crossed her arms.
"Yeah, there's a few guys that I would not want to meet." Trunks smirked.
"So, what do you think? Would you like to test your power here? See how effective it is?" Trunks asked. Victoria stared at him.
"Me? You want me to be on the Time Patrol?" Trunks nodded. Victoria moaned as she clutched her head.
"No! No! No! Look, you've got the wrong saiyan! Take my dad! Heck, take my brother! I'm not a warrior, I'm a witch! And, not even a full one at that. I just took my O.W.L.S. I'm in school! I'm on the Quidditch team, I've got a social life! Heck, I've got a boyfriend. I can't just go time traveling, and kicking ass whenever I feel like it! Everyone's probably freaking out back at Hogwarts right now! You zapped me out in the middle of the common room!" Trunks frowned.
"Are you quite done?" she sighed and nodded.
"Look… um…" Victoria sighed.
"My name's Victoria." Trunks nodded.
"Look, Victoria. I didn't bring you here. I asked Shenron to bring us a warrior to help us combat a new threat. He chose you, Victoria. There must be something about you that made him pick you." Victoria sighed.
"Look, you don't have to make your choice right now. There are a lot of time patrollers around. Meet some of them. Then come back and tell me a decision. And, um… would you prefer to wear something a bit more… comfortable?" Trunks asked with a red face. Victoria frowned as she looked down at her Hogwarts robes. She gulped nervously.
"Well… do you have a turtle gi like my dad? Goku's?" Trunks' eyes widened before nodding.
"I'll think about it." Victoria answered.
Cool, right? Next up, Victoria's first adventure in the past? Where do you think it will be? Or, a better question… When do you think it will be? Read and review!
