A look at my character Helena…
Name: Helena Apollonia-Rose Michelson
Age: 16
Godly Parent: Apollo
Mortal Parent: Izabella Michelson
Home town: Paxton, California
History: Apollo was fascinated by her mother, Bella who to Apollo often mistake her as a daughter of Aphrodite. Bella became smutted with Apollo when he mysteriously appeared at her art gallery. His mesmerizing eyes made her so drawn to him and eventually became her muse. Their love affair was passionate; something that Shakespeare himself wouldn't be able to conjuror. When Bella had found out that she was pregnant she and Apollo had been fallen even more in love, (even though Apollo knew that he would have to leave his lover and child shortly after.) They both dreaded and anxiously awaited the arrival of their daughter. When Helena was born her mother had insisted that she be named Apollonia after Apollo, which he opposed of stating that 'my daughter will not be cursed with a name like that.' They had spent 6 hours obsessing over her name. They decided on Helena because Apollo said her face was almost a resemblance of Helen of Troy. Bella had gotten her way and snuck Apollonia as one of her middle a name, Rose was incorporated because of Apollo gave Bella a rose when on their first date.
Apollo left a week after Helena was born; surprisingly Bella was neither bitter nor angry. Only sadness lingered in a place in her heart because the only man that had captured her heart was forced to walk out of her life. Helena grew up surrounded by the arts, her mother taking her to concerts, and art galleries. Educating her in music and art and how to a free spirit, it excited Helena and she drunk that in. Her mother often told her stories about her dad, saying he was like THE Prince of Prince Charming's'. In a way that made Helena only want one guy to love her just as much as her dad love her mom. She knew that her dad didn't want to leave but was forced too, which made her resent Zeus later on in life. Fast forward at the age of 13 Helena was as free and beautiful as they come, like her mother she was too often mistaken for a daughter of Aphrodite. Helena had been told stories about the gods and goddess who had relations with mortal children and how some loved other lovers than most.
One day when walking home from school she was attacked by a hell hound which scared her back, leaving a hideous red scar on her skin that was inevitably permanent. As she lay bleeding on the ground and dark spots dancing into her eyes she was a shadow hovering over her, her bright blue eyes that she inherited from her dad catching a glimpse of a man before she blacked out. Helena awake in the camp's infirmary to a guy in the corner watching her before leaving.
Personality: Helena is very bubbly and free spirited, she loves to just take chances on life and express her emotions through art and music. She is a total spitfire who isn't afraid to come back with a snarky comment if you test her boundaries. Helena can be a very sweet and down to earth girl with a big heart of gold. She makes herself appear as happy as can be but inside all she wants is a chance to actually spend time with her father and know him more.
Appearance (Be descriptive): Long straight black hair that she often curls so it resembles her mom's. Big bright blue eyes that she inherited from her dad that stands out against tan skin from being in the sun a lot. She always has paint splotches on her wrist from painting all the time. She often wears skinny jeans and the camp's orange shirt with black flats. She is around 5'1 and with all the running around she does on camp it helps her stay in shape. She mostly tries to keep her scar hidden from everyone's eyes because she thinks that it reminds her of when she was attacked.
Tattoos/piercings/scars: She has her industrial pierced on her right ear with her normal lobes pierced. She also has a half-sleeve with designs that she herself had hand drawn and sketched. Her back scar is the only scar that she carries and stretched from her right shoulder across to her left hip.
Powers: She is a natural Healer and can curse others to only speak in rhyming couplets that can take days or even weeks to wear off (depending on strength and number of people in the spell).
Relationship with their parents: Helena is very attached to her mother and often visits her during holidays but she stays at camp most of the time. They always iris-message and are close as a mother and daughter should be. But her relationship with her dad is nonexistence because she has never even met the guy before.

What kind of person are you? (Rocker chic, jock, nerdy): She is kind of rocker-girly (if that makes sense lol) She loves ripped skinny jeans and rock bands like guns n roses, nirvana, pierce the veil and other bands.
What do they hope to achieve from this experience: a surprise! ;)
