Chapter Fourteen
Don't worry, we're almost at the end. Sorry it took so long for Chapter 12 to come out. I've been going through some stuff. I need some ideas for an ending. In the review section, add some ideas. But this is the final battle.
The demon dissipated. Britain dropped to his knees. America stood. "Dude!" Britain waved him off. "Summoning those things are costly." Germany stomped into the room and pointed gun at him. "I've got you now. Prepare to meet your fate." America pulled Germany away. "Wait!"
Germany froze. "How-how are you alive? The body-" America shook his head. "Doesn't matter, Dude. He's not a murderer." Germany shook him off. "That's not the only reason we need him arrested. Russia told us some…interesting information." The Russian grinned like a child that's been praised.
Britain glared at him. "You bastard!" He exclaimed. "I thought we agreed to keep that a secret!" Russia blinked innocently. "That agreement was temporary, obviously." Britain balled his hands into fists. "I don't know what had gotten me to trust you in the first place." Germany stepped up. "You are clearly outnumbered, Britain. Surrender, for a lighter punishment."
Japan stepped between the two groups. "Wait! It doesn't have to be this way! We can get along with each other!" China narrowed his eyes. "Please, won't you sit back and stop talking. It's not like you to be involved mature business." Japan's blood began to boil. China always thought he was better than Japan. He thought he had better people, a better culture even better food. It was ridiculous.
He stood his ground, though. "No. Japan will not sit back and watch. I will not refrain from speaking. I will speak up and defend my friends. No more hiding from the world!"
"Japan…" America breathed. He was in awe. He never heard such powerful words in his life. China looked just as shocked. He walked up to Japan. He was threateningly close. "And may I ask what are you going to do?" Japan took a step back. "I…"
China's laughter cut him off. "You so scared I can smell your fear!" He roared. "You haven't changed a bit." Japan unsheathed his sword and slashed at his rival. China was caught off guard and stepped away quick enough just to have his jacket torn. "You dare strike at me?" He raised his cooking pan.
Italy covered his eyes. "Oh, I can't watch! Make it quick, China!" Just as China was about hit Japan, America brought out his gun. That caught Germany's eye, and he pulled the trigger to his own gun. He sprayed the three countries with bullets. America swiftly dodged them. Japan had jumped behind a couch. Britain…...was using force field?
Germany growled. "He's doing it. Russia!" Russia smiled and stared hard at Britain. Britain saw him. "You'd better no-" The floor exploded under him and sent him flying into the table. "Britain!" America yelled in concern. Distracted, several bullets smacked him in the chest. He dropped to his knees. "Not…not again…" He breathed. Britain had recovered from the daze and watched in horror as the whole scene repeated before his eyes. "NO!"
He jumped for his ally. Russia had a crazed expression on his face. "Oh, no you don't." Britain shot a magic orb at him. "Dark Flame!" He chanted. And the orb instantly combusted into a bright purple fireball. Russia did a flicking motion with his hand and the ball of flame dissolved into the air. Then, a green beam of light shot from his palm and struck Britain in his stomach.
The Englishman cried in agony. He dragged himself toward America, who was writhing in pain. "Make it stop, man!" The Brit nodded. "First, we need to stop the bleeding. Don't worry. I'm not losing you a second time." Russia giggled childishly. "Why not dwell into eternal grief instead, da?" He pointed a red narrow light at America's forehead. "Dude? What's that?" Britain gasped. "No way!"
America looked at him. His eyes were glazed with pain and fear. He looked like a little boy again. "America-" He began. Russia shot the light at the same moment. It was coming fast. Britain looked at America. "Don't be scared." His voice was gentle, as if he was talking to a smaller version of America.
"You'll be there to tell the story." America looked at him confusion. "You're the hero after all. Everything's going to be fine. There's no need to be scared anymore. Just calm down. Relax." Then, he shoved America away and created another force field.
The light hit the force field, causing smoke to form around the room. A pulse pushed everyone else against the walls. The smoke cleared. America waved his hand in front of his face. "Dude. You okay? What the heck did you-" He stopped. Britain was lying motionless on the floor. He rushed over. "Brit! Dude! Wake up!" He pulled the country close to him. He shook him violently. "Wake up! What's wrong with you? Why aren't you responding?"
Britain didn't respond. He stayed limp in America's arms. "Come on, man. Please." France dropped to his knees next to them. "He's not really…right?" He looked down at the country's face. "He wasn't supposed to die!" He glared at Russia. "What did you, you monstrous, evil, no good communist!?" He screamed.
Germany watched motionless. He never seen France so distraught. Italy came up behind him. "Big Brother France?" Germany was aware that Britain and France went back far. He never realized how close they really were past the bickering.
Japan appeared from behind the couch. He saw the two countries hunched over Britain. "Oh no." China looked away. "See what you did?" He said to Japan. "You wanted to fight. This wasn't your fight. Now someone's dead." Japan studied the ground.
France started sobbing. "It wasn't supposed to end this way! No one was supposed to die!" He ran his hands through the Brit's spiky, blond hair. "We never even had our gay moment yet."
"Not even in your dreams, you wine loving wanker."
