Chapter 1
Helena's Pov:
I wasn't supposed to be here, hell if I got caught who knows what Mr. D would make me do. He'd probably make me clean the Pegasus' stalls for a week. But, I couldn't leave my boyfriend's bed because A) It was way too comfortable, I mean how in the hell he had black silk sheet in here was beyond me and B) He had already had a nightmare and I wasn't going walk away from that.
Turning over my eyes rest on Ace's sleeping form. His cute face looking so peaceful that I wouldn't even try to wake him. The dimples that were lodged in his cheeks were so noticeable without that amazing smile that he wore only for me. Reaching up I trace the outline of his face before slowly slipping out of bed, putting on his nirvana shirt that was laying right beside the bed. It was massive on me, considering that I'm only 5'1 compared to his 6'2 physique.
"Where are you going?"
Turning around I stare into the icy blue eyes of Ace, the same eyes that made me fall head over heels in love with him.
"I have to get back to my cabin, if Charlie notices I'm gone she will probably think I got kidnapped and run screaming to the big house. We know Mr. D already caught me over here once darling." I say softly as he sits up in bed.
"Come here," he says, his voice deep and husky, a sign that he was still half asleep.
I MEAN WHO COULD TURN DOWN A VOICE LIKE THAT!
Slowly, I walk back over to his bed and sit on top of it as he pulls me into his arms. His slender fingers reach around and pull my black hair from my shoulder, his lips placing butterfly kisses on my skin.
"You'll be back in the morning right?" he whispers in my ear, a chill running down my spine as it takes everything in me not to shiver with pleasure.
"I promise," I whisper turning and capturing his lips with mine.
We pull away nothing uttering a single word as our noses touch, I slip out of his arms and slip my shorts back on before turning back and looking at him, laughing silently as he lies on his bed knocked out sleep.
Walking out of his cabin I see Dominic sneaking out the window of his cabin, a smirk appearing on my lips.
'Well well, where is miss little Dominic is going?' I thought, giggling to myself before heading back to Apollo's Cabin before I get busted by my sister Charlie.
Dominic's Pov
I knew that she would be here, well at least I hope.
Your probably wondering who I'm talking about right? Well you see, I've been crushing hard on this girl from the Aphrodite Cabin.
No, I know what you're thinking. Rosely isn't like those other Aphrodite girls at all, well at least I hope she isn't. God, she has this amazing blond hair and beautiful smile with badass tattoos. But a guy like me, who only had a minor God as a parent could never score a girl like her.
My footsteps stop as I see her, the outline of her body softly glowing from the light of the full moon. She's sitting there by the ocean; her head buried into her poetry book that she always seen with. Her perfect pearly white teeth are gnawing at her lips while I stand here like an idiot.
Am I stalker?! No, I don't think I am. I just think this type of crush happens when you're in love, well at least when you're in love with a hot girl who never notices you.
I turn around and watch her, my eyes thinking that she is like the beautiful heroine that I read about in the books that are scattered all over my cabin, how I could be that hero who saves her. But how could when I could barely save myself?
Standing, I walk back to cabin before slowing down as something catches my eye. I head over toward the bulletin board that keeps all the important camp news. I see a pale ivory letter attached to the board with golden letters written in perfect script. My eyes roam over it as the organ that lies in between my ribcage starts to quicken.
"This can't be happening!" I whisper out to myself.
Tomorrow morning when everyone awakes from their beautiful dreams they will be faced with a nightmare that only our parents could have made.
