Chapter 5

Jenn's Pov-

I could feel him before he ever step foot in the cabin and it scared the hell out of me. Nahliel was the guy who could swoon any girl off her feet and into his arms. I wasn't like that at all; My mind was constantly thinking about strategies and books and physiological theories. My time wasn't spent goo goo eyeing over some guy.

"Jenn," his smooth, sensational voice almost had my knees giving out. He was clearly using his charmspeak on me.

Turning around I look at him, the tight grey v neck shirt that showed off his amazing muscles. "Yes, Nahliel?"

He rubs the back of his neck, biting his lips softly. "I was, um wondering if you wanted to go have a picnic?" He holds up a brown picnic basket with a checkered blanket.

My cheeks turn to a horrible shade of red as I nod, "Sure I would like that."

Nahliel smiles as he takes my hand in his slowly before we walk out of our cabin and down to the beach in the night, the moon being the only source of light that we have.

"Aren't we going to get into trouble?" I stare at him as he smirks laughing softly.

"Live a little Jenn," He kisses my knuckles.

I nod biting my lips, "I'm sorry but I've never actually done this before."

He stops just above the water and lays out the blanket before we sit down, "What, You've never been on a date?"

I don't meet his eyes as he softly takes my face in his hands delicately, "Hey, I'm not trying to be mean. I just think that's bull shit because you're so damn beautiful and smart. Guys should be dropping at their feet to gain your attention."

I laugh a little before smiling up at him, "why do you always know what to say?"

He leans in closely until our lips almost meet, "I just do darling."

He sure did.

Heath's Pov-

She was beautiful; damn she was like an angel that crashed down in my world.

Of course dad would send me to this camp; he always thought my safety came before everything else. But never would I have thought I would meet Charlie, this girl who was like the sun that made my whole world revolve around her heart.

Damn, I sounded like a lovesick puppy.

Walking to the big house with her I noticed how she held her arms around her stomach so protectively.

"Are you okay?" I whispered softly as she jumps before blushing.

"Yeah, I'm just thinking. It's been a lot of stuff happening around here these last couple of weeks." She sighs before looking at the ground before stopping in front of the big house.

"I guess I'll see you around. Just go inside and Chiron should be in there." She gives me a soft smile that only seems to quicken my heartbeat.

"Bye." I whisper but she barely hears me because she is already on the other side of the camp.

As I walked inside I felt this strange feeling wash over me. Telling me that something was about to change everything that I had ever known about myself. A half man-half horse guy who I assumed was Chiron smiles at me before stopping dead in his tracks, his breath getting caught in his throat as he stares at the top of my head. Looking up I see this beautiful peacock feather over my head.

"She was never supposed to have children with a mortal." He whispers to himself before staring at me wide eyed. "What is your name, son?"

"Heath Young, sir." I look at him as his face pales.

"Heath, Your mother is Hera, Queen of Olympus and wife of Zeus."

I barely caught on to the last word he said before I blacked out and hit the floor.

Okay everyone I know you're all probably made at me because I made the chapter so short but I'm really busy and I will promise to make the next chapter worth your while. Have a safe and amazing Sunday everyone. Xo
