Hey ya'll! Posting a new chapter today. I'm doing more of a relaxing chapter of Jewels and Alex just having fun. I know a little ironic since it's the Hunger Games. Oh well I do not own the Hunger Games or the song Don't Go Breaking My Heart.:~)

"Thank god that's over." Alex exclaimed when we climbed off the chariots. "Yeah you could say that again." I replied. Too bad I wasn't looking where I was going because I tripped and nearly fell on my face. Why? I thought. Why did you have to catch me? Jeff the person I least expected to grabbed onto my shoulders and steadied me. For a moment our eyes locked and he didn't let go of my shoulders. Unfortunately Morgan interrupted us by saying," Looks like we got one's attention." Jeff then let go of my shoulders and we all turned around. It was true the red head from one was looking at us. He wasn't even paying attention to his mentor until she slapped him in the face. "Kgha!" That's the sound of me trying to hold back my laughter. Not really working that great.

Once I turned back around I realised everyone was gone. Really! They already left without telling me? Ugh. I trudged my way to the elevator and slipped inside. Ofcourse not before district one, his partner, and his mentor came into the elevator too. "Shouldn't you be somewhere else twelve," sneered the girl tribute. "If I am I wish I was there." "Shut up twelve." smirked the mentor."You'll be dead in the first five minutes so I wouldn't be talking." Let me tell you something it took all my strength and me digging my nails into my palms to keep from punching that mentor. They finally got off onto their floor, but not before the boy took one last glance at me. I must have looked awful redfaced and fisted hands. As soon as the door closed I screamed my head off. I was so pissed! As soon as I entered the penthouse I froze. It was huge! Way biggermthan the cars on the train. You could fit three of my houses in it. " I see you've finally found us!" chirped Bonnie. "Sorry." " That is alright Alex is in the livingroom come on." Bonnie led me to the livingroom, and I flopped on the sofa next to Alex."Guess what i found?!" she asked. I gave her my best 'I don't care' look. She just kept talking, " A kareoake system, come on lets try it!" Oh god this better not be what I think it is. Alex flipped through until she found a song she knew I wouldn't sing to. "No, absolutely not I'm not singing to that!" "Yes you are, now here!" With that said she thrust a mic into my hands and started the song. Oh brother, I thought as a familiar tune came on.

Alex singing: Don't go breaking my heart.

Me: No. (I couldn't if I tried)

Alex: Honey if I get restless.

Wow remind me to never let her talk me into singing again. "Ahhh..." Alex and I both turned around at the sound of another person's voice. Crap. Bonnie, Morgan, and *sigh* Jeff were standing right behind the couch. Bonnie and Jeff's mouths were both hanging open and Morgan was just smiling at us. He heard us sing before but the others hadn't. "I knew we shouldn't have done,"I yelled at Alex while chucking a pillow at her. "Ow!" It hit her right in the face. Bonnie finally spoke up," Wonderful you both have amazing voices!" Alex looked over at me smiling smuggly. I just glared back at her.

"Jewels get up." Crap, is it time to train already? "You don't have to train today, but I still want you to get up." Why the hell would I get up if I didn't have to? I groggily turned around. It was Morgan that was trying to wake me up. " I want to teach you how to bake." Say WHAT now?! " You mean your going to teach me how to make cookies, cake, desserts, AND pies." "Sure." "Well then why didn't you say that in the first place!" I jumped out of bed and ran into the kitchen. I'm a sucker for pies. Morgan just came in after me chuckling all the way. Jeff for some reason was already in there. I looked down at my apperance. Old t-shirt? Check. Pair of short shorts? Check. Messy bed head? Check. Overall apperance of a dork? Check and double check. I was afraid of that. But that didn't seem to bother Morgan so he got us to work making a peach cobbler. My favorite yum. All of a sudden something splattered on me. Turning around I found flower all over my shirt and Jeff laughing.

"That's it this means war." I some batter I had and flung it at him. Suddenly everything was flying around the kitchen that wasn't nailed down. "Hold it!" We both came to a screeching halt, hands in midair. Morgan came in and put the cobbler in the oven."Continue." Again things were going everywhere even Morgan was getting in on it. "What's going on?!" Bonnie shrieked. Alex came up from behind her. "Oh food fight!" She immediantely chucked something and ducked. Morgan aimed for her but missed and hit Bonnie knocking her wig off. "Aaaaahhhhhh!" Bonnie ran down the hall. The rest of us just laughed and went back to the fight.

Later this day in Alex's POV: "You have to tell her how you feel." "I know but..." "No buts Jeff, in a few days we are not gonna be hereyou have to tell her so you can have a little time together." "But she just thinks I'm some big capitol jerk." "Are you?" "No!" "Then tell her that. Go ahead practice on me pretend I'm her." "Um okay. Jewels..." I motioned for him to go on while stuffing my face with popcorn.*Crunch.* "I um... I find you... very... interesting." *Crunch.* Really interesting? Jewels is just gonna love when she hears this. "And further more I tried not to like you I really did. Your stepsisters manners are otrosous she acts like she pick out a salad fork from a meat fork." What's the difference? They are both the same size! Frustrated I chomped my popcorn.*Crunch, crunch, Crunch!* "She can't even chew her food properly." I just threw my hands in the air and flopped back on the couch in surrender. "Your clothes look like a blind sunday school teacher picked them out of the trash, wore them, and then gave them to you." Jewels is gonna be so mad, and her clothes aren't that bad! I'll just let him spout for a little bit more." And even though I'm way above you in status I ... I find you... I find you very beautiful, funny, charming, and extremely kind. I.. I like you... I guess. So congradulations." I piece of popcorn was in my mouth and I was in midcrunch. *Cr- unch!* "Well that was really good, now the hard part is telling her all that without having her punch you. I suggest you tie her up, or tell her when she's asleep. Both would be for your safety." "Goodluck." After I said that walked out the room to tell Morgan and Bonnie your gonna need it.
