I'M BACCCKKK! OH MY GOD! I'm SO sorry I haven't had time to write! My computer broke and I got really busy..., but finally I was able to finish chapter 15. *Phew.*:`) And I promise that I will finish this story by the end of the month. But for now here is chapter 15!

The final day was near, and all of the fifteen tributes could sense it. It was going to be like a second bloodbath, only this time nobody could run and hide. The careers all thought they would be the ones that would be the victors. After Darren ( a traitor to them ) ran off, the girl from district three and both of district five went on their seperate ways. Many of the alliances split up. District nine and eleven broke up and were now on their own. The careers from one and four stayed together as did Alex and Chad. The girl from district three didn't have a partner, and seemed rather pleased about it. She saw him get dismembered by a mutt, which made something inside snap. She was always staring off into space and then would snap into a fit of giggles. No one had said anything to set her off to laughing, which is what made them think she was crazy. Insane was more of what she was, and one day she just left the careers and ran off into the jungle. She did not know though that she had escaped death, because they had planned on killing her that day.

District One's female searched for hours, but couldn't find a trace of her. After that, was when district five left and only three careers remained together. Chad and Alex stayed together in the tundra and hardly left their cave. Darren, Jewels, and Jeff stayed out in the open spots of the tundra, always on the lookout for food. Jeff decided to stay with them rather than go after Alex. It comforted Jewels, but was a pain in the rear for Darren. They often got into fights where Jewels had to go in and stop them. Both usually had a mixed of assortment of injuries. Jewels happened to be fixing Darren's black eye at this very moment.

Third Person POV: "Owww! Stop pressing so hard!" "Quit moving so much and it wouldn't hurt." Darren was currently whining and sitting on the snowy ground near the campfire while Jewels stood over him. She was gently applying cream to his left eye. It was swollen shut, and made th whole side of his face sore. "There." Jewels applied the last of the cream on his eye and sat downnext to him. Jeff scowled at them from his spot on the other side of the fire. In the end Darren ended up with a black eye and Jeff had his arm in a sling. Jewels was seething mad at both of them. "How could you guys do this?! You know that the finale should be coming soon and this is how you're going to fight off the careers and the other tributes? If Chad and Alex don't team up with us we don't stand a chance of making it." Darren and Jeff just glared at each other. The flames from the fire seemed to leap up higher when they did this. "Well maybe if he hadn't-" "It wasn't my fault, he-" "Yeah, but you shouldn't have-" "Enough! That's enough." Jewels face had turned red and she was seething. For three days it had been nothing but arguing, complaining, and fighting. It seemed whatever one of them wanted, the other wanted the oppisite.

Jewels had, had enough though and started to walk off into the darkness. "Hey where are you going?" Jeff asked. "She's leaving moron, to get away from you. I should do the same." "Shut up you dumb-" Jewels just kept walking on, until the sound of their bickering was just a whisper. She didn't bring a single thing with her including her axes which is pretty stupid considering their situation. Never the less, she kept on going in random directions almost hoping to get lost. Nothing was going right for any other tributes either. Some were just ready to give up wishing it to be over with. Others were quite content not having any dangers in the finale, but were getting suspicious. Suspicious of the gamemakers who were planning something, so barbaric it took them even a few days to get it completed.

Things were starting to even look bad for the careers. Without five and district three not all of them could go out hunting. Arguments broke out every time they wanted to leave, about who would stay behind. And slowly their big pile of food started to deteriorate. Stuffing themselves everynight instead of salvaging made their sources that would last them a month went down to a few days worth. Narrirator: *Cough!* Pigs.* *Cough!* Anyway the gamemakers were perfectly fine laying back and waiting, watching the tributes squirm. It was their favorite pastime, next to torturing avoxes.

But finally the day had come when it would all be over in a few short hours. To the tributes though it would seem like it would never end. In the room where the games were controlled, everyone was poised ready to see how things follow through. The head gamemaker Simmens just entered the room and they rose in respect. Hang respect they rose, so they wouldn't get executed. Atleast they were smart. Simmens signaled them to be seated and to go back to their duties. All did except one. Nina, a new recruit still stood tall, and defiantly. Simmens waited one second before strolling over to Nina and peering into her face. She didn't even blink. Simmens was growing very angry every passin second and just blew. "What are you doing?! You will die for your defiance to the capital! Guards seize her!" Guards stormed into the room, but instead of reaching for Nina, they started taking out gamemakers. People were thrown from one side of the room to the other. Suddenly the door closed and sealed shut. Everyone looked up and gasped. "Miss me Simmens?"

Morgan prepared for the finale gathering the last of the sponsor money before heading to the penthouse. These last few days he never slept, never ate, and whenever he talked he sounded like he had gravel in his throat. He looked like a zombie and snapped at anyone that asked him to take it easy. Morgan walked into the penthouse slamming the door, which made himslef jump. He walked down the hall, and into the living room. He settled down onto the couch and collasped. Morgan had never been one to drink, but these last few days have been trying. Even so he never was able to pass out. Until Bonnie snuck tranquilizers into his drink. She placed a blanket on him and walked to the doorway. "Goodnight Morgan."

Simmens knew what had happened. He knew what he was going to do would get him killed. If he didn't do it he would still be killed or taken as a slave. He did it. He reached into his pocket and pressed the button. Everyone in the room gasped, while staring at the screen. The guards killed Simmens on the spot. He died with a bullet to the head and a smile on his face. The twisted bastard. The team tried to reverse what Simmens did, but it was too late. Nothing could be done now. It seemed all of Penam was holding their breath in anticipation.

The tributes heard a great *CRACK!* that echoed throughout the arena. Everything became motionless, and had seemed to stop. A low *RUMBLE!* began, and a great stone mountain emerged from the ground. It was in the jungle part of the arena, and looked like something you would see in a history textbook. A mayan pyramid, is what you would call it. It stood hundreds of feet in the air, so high you could see it from the farthest spot in the arena. In its tombs were traps filled with hidden triggers. You could go through the tombs or climb up on the outside. Either way was treacherous, and it was about to get worse. It was because of all the noise that chaos began to happen. The snow in the tundra newly fallen began to slide. First a few particles, then hundreds to thousands of pounds of snow descended upon the tundra. Everyone was oblivious to it until it was too late.

In the desert the mutts went crazy and started going into other parts of the arena. Nobody knew what was happening in the meadow, but something went wrong. For the tributes of district twelve a big decision was about to be made. Jewels POV: *CRACK!* A huge sound rang out through the arena, and a deep noise came after it. *RUMBLE!* From the other side of the arena a giant mountain appeared. Then... nothing. All was silent except for a whosing sound barely above a whisper. I turned around slightly..."Oh for the love of-!"

Woah things are going to be happening faster! Anyway I'm really sorry still for not uploading sooner or telling you I couldn't. Don't give up on me please keep reading!:~)
