"Next up, we have Perpetual Souls!" the emcee yelled to the crowd. Maka waved at the crowd, and then made a hand signal. They started when Maka grabbed her mic.

A beauty half betrayed, [Patty released butterflies from a cage.]
Butterflies with punctured wings. [The crowd gasped collectively in awe.]

Liz and Patty made their way down also, and the crowd went crazy for Tsubaki's drum playing. Maka went back on stage.]

When they were done, the crowd went crazy again. They were just as loud as they were for Death Acceptance, if not more. Maka, Liz, Patty, and Tsubaki were smiling and breathing heavy.

"Thank you guys for listening to us! We hope to continue to perform for more crowds like you all!" They bowed and started packing up.

"Whoa girls, not so fast. I think they want an encore!" The emcee said. Sure enough, the crowd was chanting "encore, encore!" Maka looked at her band mates, and they all nodded simultaneously. Maka grabbed her mic.

"Yeah, I think we have one more in us." She said, and the crowd went into an uproar. Maka smiled, and made a hand signal to her band mates.

The crowd cheered even louder, if possible. Perpetual Souls smiled at the crowd. The emcee came back on stage, and flourished a hand at them.

"Perpetual Souls! Why don't you introduce yourselves?" The emcee said, handing the mic to Tsubaki.

"Oh! Um, hi! My name is Tsubaki Nakatsukasa and I'm 19 years old." Tsubaki said, bowing slightly. She got a few wolf whistles which caused her to blush and stare at the ground. She handed the mic to Patty.

"Hi! My name is Patty Thompson! I'm 18 years old, and this is my sister!" She said, gesturing at Liz. "Oh, I also love giraffes!" Patty said, giggling as she handed the mic to Liz.

"Hey guys, my name is Liz Thompson, I'm 20, and yes is she is my sister, so if you want to get to her, you'll have to get through me." Liz said, glaring slightly at the guys in the crowd. She handed the mic to Maka.

"Hey, I'm Maka Albarn, and I'm 19. Thank you for listening to us perform!" She said, smiling at the crowd. The emcee smiled and took back the mic.

"Perpetual Souls everyone!" The crowd was deafening. Franken Stein and Marie Mjolnir smiled at each other (well Stein smirked more than smiled) and wrote down the two band names on a slip of paper, then nodded to each other. They got up, and went to talk to the emcee about two certain bands.

After all that excitement, neither Kid, nor Maka remembered their little "duet" and didn't recognize each other; which was good, because they both surely would be embarrassed about how they singled each other out during both performances.
