Hey guys. I know it's been forever since I last updated this. School work got in the way and I forgot about this little project of mine. I back though for a while before my A.P. Chemistry eats up all my time. Thanks for the patience.

Note: This is a switch from Caitlyn's perspective and is from Scipio after his reflection.

As Scipio exited the reflecting chamber, an ominous silence fell as he walked past the crowd laughing demonically. Many summoners and champions alike turned away after seeing and hearing him. After a brief moment, Scipio stopped laughing and looked at a summoner who was approaching him fearfully. Scipio demanded, "What is it you seek of me, spell bearer?"

The room itself was a courtyard of some sort with an open roof that allowed the light into it and multiple trees of many types growing in them. Quite of few people were resting there from elite summoners to well-known champions such as Ashe, and Shen. The walls surrounding it were made of wood and plaster with notifications posted all around them. One of them caught his eye. It was a small discrete police document that said, "Information on the illusive C should be sent to the Piltover Police Department or Caitlyn to Caitlyn's quarters directly in the Piltover division." "Ha, it seems we shall meet again," thought Scipio.

Scipio's attention is redrawn when the summoner looked back in fear; his purple garments showed he was a novice who had just begun his quest of summoning. He quickly stuttered, "My name is Dannel Grow, I am here to inform you that your introduction to the league will begin later today. We will assign you a random partner that will guide you on the basics unless you have a preference." His eyes grew large as Scipio placed a concealed blade next to his chest.

"I would prefer to fight someone who is accustomed to fighting law breakers," replied Scipio as he sheathed his blade, "and if I do not get what I want, there will be a 'debt' for you to pay." Scipio's piercing eyes told the summoner he meant business.

"Uhmmmm Ya sure, I will get either Vi or Caitlyn to be your partner," said Dannel as he made a small jog away from him.

"Wait!" yelled Scipio as he remembered something. Dannel turned around with fear glittering in his eyes. "Come back here."

Dannel reluctantly did and asked "What?"

"I want Caitlyn as my partner. Tell her nothing about me especially how I made you scared and just tell her that we have an intimate relationship." replied Scipio as he fiddled with something in one of his many pockets on his trench coat.

"At once," replied Dennel as he began to blend into the crowds surrounding the exit to the reflecting chamber.

"Impotent fool," murmured Scipio as he pasted the crowds with grace. He then reached into his top most front pocket of his leather trench coat and grabbed a perception filter. He then flicked a switch that activated it. Instantly, anyone who still wanted to examine him grew bored and turned away. He then reached into one of the pockets near his legs and pulled out an analog watch that read 9 AM. After reaching a less crowded area, Scipio deactivated the perception filter.

"Let's see what they have in store for us," thought Scipio as he dashed toward a door. He quickly opened it and entered a large hall way with many people walking inside of it. On the walls there was a sign which read, "Hall of the Divine. Library to the south. Main entrance to the North." Scipio instantly turned south upon reading the sign with an elegant right face.

Upon reaching the engraved doors, Scipio read some of the etchings. "Knowledge is power. Power is fame. Fame is control. Control is everything." He then opened the doors and entered the gigantic room. It was carpeted with red synthetic fibers similar to polyester from his home world and was at least 1 inch deep. The bookshelves were stacked with books and went up 10 feet with moveable ladders everywhere to access the books on the higher levels. They signs on the roofs told Scipio that he was currently looking at the book on the politics of Valoran.

"Welcome, wanderer. I sense a long line of despair within your soul. I'm deeply sorry for that." Scipio turned 90 degrees and saw something similar to a dog but was much larger, stood on two feet, and wore clothes made of something extremely reminiscent of an ancient kingdom from his world called Tpyge. "I presume you would like to know who I am. I'm Nasus the Curator of the Sands. I help manage the library when I'm free and not in the Shurima Desert." Nasus then paused for a second and continued, "And you are?"

Scipio maintained silence for over 5 seconds before replying, "I'm Scipio Fur the honorable thief. I help those who are unfortunate enough to fall into the cracks of society." Scipio then proceeded to head to the extra-dimensional section of the writings. He picked out a book titled, Concepts of Extra-dimensional Travel and Origins, by Professor Lange and opened it. He quickly examined the table of context before he flipped to the chapter on "Theoretical Methods of Returning to One's Home World."

"Interesting Pick. Not many care about extra-dimensional beings and even fewer care about their ability to return home." commented Nasus as he stood motionlessly with only his eyes and mouth moving.

"Let's just say I'm not from around here and neither are you," replied Scipio as he read a page but quickly realized what he wanted would require much more than what he could muster. A small frown grew on his face as he closed the book and put it back.

"You realized now that your likelihood of leaving is almost zero unless you enlist the help of the League I presume? I myself have wanted to return home but until I stop my fallen brother, Renekton. I will stay here and fight for justice. " said Nasus as gazed into the air bring up past memories that had been hidden in his mind for so long.

"I realized my likelihood of leaving was slim and reading these articles prove it," Scipio felt a tear welling in his eye as he tried to retain his control over the situation, "I had clung onto the hope of getting home. A false hope I guess." He then had a small laugh before closing the book and turning his eyes back to Nasus.

"You must keep believe or you will have nothing left," Nasus said as he patted him on the shoulder that was like a rock hitting his shoulder. Scipio grunted in pain which prompted Nasus to say, "Sorry," and pull back. "But you need to trust me. You must believe in what drives you forward or you will burn. I've been there for a while and it is not pretty."

"Thank you for the tip," Scipio replied sarcastically, "I should just believe that I can get home when everything else states I won't. Great idea!" Scipio then turned away and began heading toward the doors to the library he had just entered less than five minutes ago.

"If you don't, you will not survive for much longer Scipio. Heed my warning that you must strive for something." replied Nasus as Scipio opened the door. "Let us hope that his cycle will not have to end soon." mumbled Nasus as he turned away.

Scipio closed the door like a cat before he walked toward the front desk area. He tried to maintain his composure but it was no use. He felt the anger, sorrow, malice, and regret flow through his veins burning everything that touched his emotions. All he wanted to do was give up and let go but he knew that suicide would not be an effective solution. He just needed a place to regain his bearings.

"Hello, Scipio Fur, I am Summoner Florentino Kearns," said a man in purple robes with markings that implied he was a novice summoner, "I've been tasked of showing you your room."

Scipio just nodded trying not to torment the summoner to release some of his feelings. The regret inside of his head was burning threw all of his other emotions. "Why did I do it!" was the only thought inside of Scipio's head as he fallowed the summoner down the long hall. He past many recognizable faces such as Olaf the Berserker, Sona Maven of the Strings, Quinn and Valor Demacia's Wings, Miss Fortune the Bounty Hunter and even Aatrox the Darkin Blade while he walked through though no one even dared to mention Aatrox for some reason.

He finally rounded a corner with a sign above that said "Independent." He pasted by a multitude of doors with name plates that included Ryze the Rogue Mage, Nidalee the Bestial Huntress, and Skarner the Crystal Vanguard. Some of them were decorated with things such as Aatrox which had a multitude of weapons placed on the door in an elegant design. The door he arrived on however lacked a nameplate and decorations.

"This will be where you will be staying in the institute unless you pledge allegiance to one of the city-states," said Kearns, "Inside a bed, desk, table, kitchen, bathroom, storage cabinet, couch, television and chairs are provided but if you need something in particular you can go to the front desk and ask for such accommodations."

"Thank you. Now Leave!" replied Scipio as he opened the door and closed it in the face of the summoner. He quickly accessed the positioning of his room for possible escape routes and defensible positions. He noted the kitchen was to his left with a counter in between that could be used as cover. Directly in front of him were the leather couch, then the glass coffee table and a stand with a television on top. To the right of the television was a door which led to his bedroom. It contained a bed, nightstand, and a cabinet for his personal effects. To the left was another door that led to his bathroom which had a shower and toilet. Throughout the wall were windows which could be completely opened for him to escape. Scipio approached one of the windows and looked down to see a 15 feet drop. He mentally noted that he would tie an escape rope to the ledge should he ever need to get out.

"You're an interesting one," commented a female behind him. From behind he could hear the distinct sound of a razor being drawn from its metal sheath. Scipio recognizing the incoming attack dug into one of his pockets and retrieved a pristine stiletto while executing a perfect about-face.

CLANG! The attacker's force of impact nearly made Scipio drop his dagger. He could see his assailant and recognized her as none other than Katarina the Sinister Blade from her distinct scar on her eye and her red hair that flew through the air. "What do you want, Sinister Blade?" Scipio asked as he prepared for another assault.

"I wanted to test your skills, Scipio," replied Sinister Blade as she resheathed her dirk, "I see you have a keen sense of hearing and have been trained in the art of swordsmanship." She looked at him closely, "But that alone would never have let you get in the Institute of War so easily. So what is it?"

"You are correct. I've been trained in swordsmanship even if it cannot compare to you. I do have heightened senses from my line of work but such things alone did not grant me access," replied Scipio as he toyed with the stiletto in his hand.

"You haven't answered the question," said Katarina with agitation. She did not like having to repeat herself.

"That is for me to know and you to find out, cutthroat," replied Scipio as he eyed her with indifference.

"How dare you equate me to a common murder. I'm much more than that," fumed Katarina as she grabbed a throwing knife.

"What makes you any different? It is forbidden to kill; therefore all murderers are punished unless they kill in large numbers and to the sound of trumpets," replied Scipio as he sat down on the couch.

"I kill in the name of my country! What do you do?" retorted Katarina as she hurled the throwing knife at Scipio.

Scipio merely sat there as the blade hit his chest. The blade made a small clinking sound before harmlessly falling to the ground. Scipio turned to Katarina, "That was extremely unnecessary. You could have killed me," Scipio responded sarcastically.

"How…" asked Katarina as she looked at the unharmed Scipio, "You are wearing no visible armor and my skills should have easily landed my dagger between your ribs and within your heart."

"Exactly, I have deceptive armor." He pulled down a section of clothe and revealed a plate of a metal only he knew of on this world. The alloy of titanium, aluminum, and interweaving layers of carbon nanotubes made it extremely lightweight, bullet resistant, trauma resistant, and best of all extremely durable. "One of the toughest materials out there. It can withstand repeated gunfire, sword slashes, and blunt force attacks like maces and still be in useable condition. "

"Your little tricks confound me," replied Katarina as she walked over and picked up her throwing knife and began to resharpen it, "Is this reason why you were accepted?"

"Partially," replied Scipio as he put the section of clothe back.

"Why have I never heard of you?" asked Katarina as she put the throwing knife back into one of her many sheathes.

"Because I'm a secret only heard in the darkness corners tucked away in the mass poverty around this world." Scipio replied as he stood up and tested the faucet to see if it had warm water.

"We have spies everywhere. How have you managed to evade our detection?" questioned Katarina as she shuffled uncomfortably. She was not use to having someone who did not hate, fear, or respect her in some way.

"Two words forbidden knowledge," replied Scipio as he fiddled with another contraption hidden in his pockets.

"That gives me nothing!" replied Katarina as she picked out a blade infused with dark magic. She usually only reserved it for dangerous situation because she liked to play "fair." "You will tell me or I will kill you to protect my city," continued Katarina as she poised her blade that embodied eternal darkness within its elegant engravings that depicted an angel being slain.

"Strong words. A bit bipolar much?" replied Scipio as he laughed. "Your blade that you currently hold is from the Shadow Isles and is called Macabre's dissolution. It embodies darkness and capable of causing necrosis within the body of its victim by merely touching the blade on the skin.

"So you are familiar with the workings of magic and enchantment as well? You seem to be full of surprise but no more. I demand an answer or shall you die by the blade?" Katarina continued her graceful saunter to him.

"I'd like to see you try." Scipio then jumped over his couch and prepared for the jump out of his window. "Nice meeting you Katarina Du Couteau but I seem to be missing something," said Scipio as leaned again the window.

"You wouldn't survive such a fall just tell me the information I want!" yelled Katarina as she ran at him.

"I beg to differ" as he pushed out the window and jumped out while he braced for impact onto the grassy slope below. "Impact forces will injure me most likely if I don't pull this off," thought Scipio. He hit the ground with the balls of his feet and began to roll. He placed his two hand on the ground then rolled diagonally to his spine. After that he got up and turned back toward Katarina in his bedroom window. "Told you!" yelled Scipio as he began to walk away.

"Damn you, Scipio!" Katarina screamed as she pulled out throwing knives and threw them at his head and neck. "Let see how well his armor protects him there," laughed Katarina.

Scipio instantly realized what Katarina plan was when she reached for one of her smaller sheaves. Scipio knew that her deadly precision would make it unlikely that he would dodge all the knives but he had another trick that he thought would save him. He dug into one of his pockets and flicked a switch within it. From an observer's point of view nothing changed but Scipio knew otherwise as he saw a sphere of energy surrounding his body.

Katarina watched as her blades flew to her designated target. She knew they would be fatal if they landed where she wanted them to. However, shock filled her eyes as the blades hit a spherical shape of magic that dropped the blades onto the ground with a dull thud. "Impossible! You are a wizard aren't you? That is the forbidden magic you contain," yelled Katarina as she watched him walk away.

"No, You are wrong again my dear. I am a man of science not witchcraft. Contact me again when you actually understand." Retorted Scipio as he retreated down the grassy slopes and headed for the cover of some ancient oaks. Katarina's eyes fallowed him all the way and were planning methods of removing him as a threat.

"Damn you," mumbled Katarina as she exited the room and slammed his door without locking it. Other summoners looked at her but she gave them a stare that caused everyone to turn and promptly move away.

Scipio continued his progress until he reached the tree line. He spotted nothing of interest aside from what seemed to be spent cartridges littered across the dirt and moving targets that weaved in and out of the trees making accurate shooting hard to impossible for all except the best shots. As he approached the targets from the firing position he realized all of them were riddled with bullets near or on the bull's eye mark. "Damn," mumbled Scipio as he looked at all the targets as they fallowed very confusing paths. The leaves crunched as he made his way back to his starting position.

Unlike most, Scipio's keen eye noticed a peculiarity with one of the large trunks of the trees. As he approached it he recognized that at least part of it was tampered with as he could tell the bark of the tree in a gigantic rectangular shape was dead. He knocked on it and heard a thud sound as though the interior was hallowed out. This peaked his interest so slightly pulled on the bark which responded by opening sideways.

Within it laid a sniper rifle of peculiar design that used magnifying glasses as scopes. The rifle itself looked like a flintlock rifle from his old world in every respect aside from some of the mechanisms. For example barrel was smooth bored which would dramatically decrease accuracy. Cartridges were loaded in through the left side and appeared to hold 5 rounds. Despite the flintlock design he quickly realized that magic was part of the rifle. He assumed the firing mechanism was completely automated based on the battery which he presumed contained some sort of magic. Just to test his theory, he picked up the sniper rifle and lined the scopes on a tree some 100 yards away. He collected a couple rounds out of the cartridge box in the tree and flicked off the safety.

Bang! The sound of the bullet could be heard as it whizzed by and landed near where he aimed. The recoil from the gun made him lose aim but he quickly adjusted and fired in repeated succession. As he assumed the rifle was automatic and more importantly extremely accurate. He realized despite the smooth bore design the rifle must have been accurate by the magic somehow. He found the piece fascinating and was about to take it when he remembered, "I'm not a common thief anymore." He then put the rifle back and was about to close the compartment when he heard a noise behind him.

Instinctively, he drew his stiletto and turned around. This turned out to be a bad move as something hit his chest with enormous force that knocked him against the tree. If he had not worn his armor, he would have all his ribs broken. After regaining focus, he saw the dangerous eyes of Vi the Piltover Enforcer.

"Stealing is a criminal offense you know," spat Vi as she raised her fist to hit him again.

"WAIT! Stop," coughed Scipio as he felt the bruise develop on his body, "I wasn't going to take the rifle."

"Then why were your hands in the compartment?" yelled Vi as she prepared for another denting blow. There was a slight buzzing sound that emanated from her glove as she activated something that he assumed would make her blows even more painful.

Scipio jumped back as Vi swung at now open air with the leaves rustling where Scipio was. This knocked her off balance for a second which gave him a moment of retaliation with his dagger. Vi was incapable of regaining her position before Scipio slashed her on her arm just enough to cut her armor without drawing blood. "I don't want to hurt you!" yelled Scipio as dropped his dagger after his retaliation in the hopes she would stop.

"You'll pay for that thug!" as she prepared for her signature move called assault and battery. Unexpectedly, Scipio merely stood there as she began the uppercut but it failed as some sort of barrier revealed itself between them. The impact force itself was sent back into her gauntlet that caused her a decent amount of pain.

"Just let me explain myself," moaned Scipio as he maintained the force field against Vi's fury of punches. "I was just examining the rifle. It has some of the best technology I've ever seen in a rifle. I know it looked like I was stealing it but I've gone past that stage." The caused Vi to stop for a second which allowed his dimensional rift collector to begin to recharge the depleted force field battery.

"Why should I even believe you? You attacked an officer," said Vi as she glared at Scipio. Everything froze as both of them continued to watch each other for any sign of aggression.

"I did it in self-defense after you attacked me," replied Scipio as he held his ground, "You should also know that attacking someone on these grounds is highly illegal and can result in permanent excommunication from the League of Legends.

"Do you really think that they would believe you over me? I doubt anyone even knows who you are since I don't," replied Vi as she fiddled with her hextech gauntlets.

"I have more influence than you know," replied Scipio as he sat down and began to focus to increase his mental capacities.

"So be it. Since I lack enough hard evidence, I will let you go as long as you don't touch other's people property again," stated Vi with a decisiveness in her tone that even Scipio slightly feared to cross.

"Fine, I won't try to mess with whoever's rifle that is," said Scipio with indignation.

"It Caitlyn's rifle and if she find out, she'll kill you!" yelled Vi as she barely head back her urge to utterly annihilate him.

"Then, she better not find out," replied Scipio as he began to concentrate, "Now leave I have better things to do." "Damn why am I pissing everyone off…" though Scipio as he heard Vi stomp off.

"One last thing, if I catch you doing anything else, I will personally gut you." Yelled Vi before her voice and footsteps became undistinguishable with the forest winds.

"I just want to go home!" yelled Scipio within his mind, "I need more time, technology, and magic. If I only could get a High Summoner to back me, I would have everything I need."

Scipio noticed a disturbance within his mind as though someone was trying to mental probe him. "Not again damn it," thought Scipio as he allowed to connection to open. "What do you want!" Scipio thought as the connection finally completely opened.

"Ah you are scary as they say you are," was the only response.

"A little information about who you are would help," Scipio agitatedly thought. Scipio then opened his eyes to only see nothing. The grass he was once sitting on was gone and he was floating in the eternal darkness. For one of the times he felt a tinge of fear as he looked into the bleakness. At the farthest corners he swore that he saw something unexplainable but he chose to ignore the thought and close his eyes again.

"My name is Parthenope Andromache and I'll be the summoner that brings you to the fight," replied the summoner, "Normally we would control you in a fight but this time we will let you do things on your own to get you use to the role of champion."

"Great I going to get used as a puppet of war," thought Scipio as he saw a small speck of light arrive out of nowhere.

"Your teleportation is almost complete. You will be placed at your base wher—" Scipio cut out the voice from his head and prepared himself for the situation. "Don't need distractions and I already know how the basic mechanics of fighting on the field are." Though Scipio as he finally landed.
