It was one in the morning, and Kid and Maka were having so much fun asking each other questions that they went completely over the twenty question limit. Kid looked at the clock flashing on his nightstand.

"Okay, we really should sleep." He chuckled at Maka's pout. "Okay, okay, one more question, then we turn in." Maka pondered on what to ask him. Suddenly she snapped.

"Why is the side of your room so clean? And, it looks symmetrical. Why is that?" Kid froze. Maka quickly backtracked. "Not that it's a bad thing, I was just wondering since you're a boy and boys tend to be messy… Not that I assumed you'd be messy! I just-"

"OCD." he said above a whisper.

"What?" Maka cocked her head to the right to hear him better.

"I have OCD. Symmetry OCD to be exact. It's calmed down since I was younger though. As long as my room or myself is symmetrical, then I'm fine." he said, not looking at her. Maka looked confused.

"But, you have the three white stripes on one side of your hair and not the other, so technically…" She stopped when she saw his panic stricken face. "Kid…?"

"I'm trash! Garbage! Put me out on the corner on trash day! Just kill me off! I'm scum!" Kid was pounding the floor in a fetal position. I was kind of comical to see his 5'10" frame curled up in a ball, but this wasn't a moment to laugh. Maka panicked.

"Kid! What's wrong?! You're not trash! Get up!" Maka was trying to pull him up off the floor, but he wasn't budging, whispering "Trash…" over and over again. "Kid, I didn't mean to offend you!" She kneeled next to him. "Kid." She said firmly. Kid stopped shaking. Maka took a deep breath. "I wasn't trying to insult you, or cause your OCD to act up. I just opened my mouth without thinking. I'm sorry, okay? Let's get up and go to bed, okay?" Maka was shaking a little.

Kid slowly uncurled himself from his fetal position and looked at Maka. He nodded sheepishly. "Sorry you saw that…" He crawled over to his bed and laid down.

"What was that anyways?" Maka asked, getting under the covers.

"Symmetry fit. I tend to have one when the symmetry is off. Symmetry is kinda like my Kryptonite. I hoped you or the rest of the girls wouldn't see one… Sorry again." Maka scoffed.

"Don't worry about it. Anyways, let's get some sleep." Maka turned out the light. "Night Kid."

"Good night Maka. Sweet dreams…"

"Wait Kid?"

"Yes Maka?"

"You said you improved since you were younger. How?" Kid chuckled.

"Let's save that for the morning. Or, later this morning. That fit wore me out."

"Oh, okay. Night Kid."

"Good night Miss Albarn." Maka rolled her eyes, smiling.

I wonder how no one heard that. Maka thought as she drifted off to sleep.

Little did she know that there were two people standing outside their door that heard it all. The two people high-fived and went back to bed.
