A/N: Hey guys. New chapter. Enjoy.

Oh, tomorrow will be the exciting part!

A month passed quickly. It was the day before their first concert. They practiced and hung out during the month, and they've become like a family. And the couples seemed to have gotten closer also.

"Okay, try again." Kid said, chuckling. Maka pouted.

"It's not fair, I can't do it."

"You'll get the hang of it. Here, let me show you." Maka stepped off the skateboard, and Kid stepped on.

"See, you place your feet like this," he showed the proper footing, "and you keep your weight evenly distributed." He stepped off and helped Maka on the skateboard.

Liz giggled from her spot at the living room window. "They've been at this for two hours now. I think Maka's playing Kid." Soul smirked.

"So uncool. So," Soul stretched. "What should we do? Black*Star and Tsubaki are off wandering around the city, Crona and Patty are playing DDR* and, well, we saw what Maka and Kid were doing." Liz thought about it. Then she smiled.

"Let's go to the mall. It's summer, and I need a new swimsuit. Help me pick one out?" Soul nodded, trying to fight back the blush that was creeping its way up his neck. Liz smiled and grabbed his hand. "You are the best friend ever!" Liz didn't see the look of despair on Soul's face as the made their way out of the tour bus.

"I'm doing it, I'm doing it!" Maka shouted, smiling. Kid rolled his eyes and laughed.

"Yeah, because I'm riding with you. Now, I'm going to teach you how to stop, alright?" Maka nodded, too amazed of skateboarding. "Okay, so to stop, you place your back foot on the back of the board, and gently press it towards the ground to stop. Got that Maka?" Kid performed it with them both on his board. Maka nodded, a determined look on her face. "Okay, you try it, while standing still."

Maka got on the board and did exactly what Kid said. Kid clapped. "Perfect! Well, Maka, you learned the basics with me. Want to try them out for yourself?"

"Yes!" Maka all but jumped for joy when Kid brought out another skateboard that looked exactly like his. Kid blushed.

"Sorry, symmetry…" Maka giggled. He's so cute when he's worried about the symmetry. Wait, what? Maka shook her head, and got on the board. Kid got on his own. "Okay, so we'll take it slow, then we'll see how you do at a faster speed."

After a couple more hours of skateboarding, they decided to go back inside.

"I'm impressed Maka. You were keeping up with me for the most part. Not even Soul, Crona, or 'The Great Black*Star' can do that." Kid used finger quotations when he said "The Great Black*Star."

"HEY! IT'S NOT OUR FAULT YOU PRACTICALLY FLY ON THAT THING!" Black*Star shouted, coming in to the living room, with Tsubaki. Crona frowned at Kid, while Soul glared playfully.

"So uncool Kid." They all made their way to the couch for their daily movie night. They each took turns choosing the movie. This time, it was Patty's turn, so they watched Madagascar.

"I WANT TO BREAK THE GIRAFFE'S NECK!" was Patty's direct quote when she picked it out.

Everyone passed out halfway through it from exhaustion of practice and excitement of the next day. Stein and Marie smiled at them. Like parents watching their children.

"Let's leave them there. They've earned it." Marie whispered to Stein, who nodded and walked back to their bedroom. Marie was smiling brightly from what she saw. Kid was holding Maka around her waist as her head was on his chest; Liz had her head on Soul's lap; Patty and Crona were snuggled up together; and Black*Star and Tsubaki were holding hands, and Tsubaki's head was on Black*Star's shoulder.

They're such cute couples. She thought as she drifted off to sleep to get up early for the next day.
