Moody glared at Snape. He didn't understand how Dumbledore could trust the man. The bastard had been a fully committed Death Eater. There was no turning away from that, no chance for redemption.

Either a witch or wizard fought on the side of the light, or they fought on the side of the dark. There was no middle ground, no grey area.

Yet, here Dumbledore was, giving the undeserving bastard another chance to stab all of them in the back.

Moody shook his head. He knew that no matter how long he lived, he would never understand Dumbledore or how he could turn a blind eye to what was right in front of him.
