"Where are we going Phyrron?" I asked as walk through deeper part of the forest.
"Somewhere the two angels won't see this!" As he said the last word, an orange horse appears.
"Wow, you got minions besides me?"
"Yep, just him and the fire snake"
"Fire snake?"
"Yes…fire snake, but he is not the reason I brought to here. As you can see, HE is."
"I admit, it is not every day you see an orange horse, but what's so special about this one?" I soon as I got done saying that, the horse tackle me!
"Well the first thing that is special, is the fact he can understand each word you are saying, but the extraordinary part is the fact that he once pulled the stars!" Phyrron explains while petting it.
"…really, how is that possible?"
"He would go into space, attach his magical strings to a star or sun, and pull with the speed of Light itself!"
After he said that, the horse was now posing trying to look like a super hero or something. I can't blame him though, that is kind of amazing!
…
Oh who am I kidding?
"Whoa, that's even MORE than amazing!" I exclaimed.
"Yes…sniff* yes it is….and now it is YOUR job to catch him!"
"…you want me to catch a horse that can move with the speed of light…?"
"Oh, don't worry about that part; he lost that ability when he got attacked by space pirates."
"…space pirates?"
"Pirates that roams space"
"How did they beat a horse that can move with the speed of light?"
"It's a long story…well actually not really long just embarrassing…"
"What did they steal that prevents him from moving with the speed of light?"
"The phoenix's feather."
"Oh…So…how did you get the phoenix's feather in the first place"
(Pyrron's Flashback)
Phyrron sneaks up behind the phoenix, a bird that lives in the volcano and guards the wish seed. The Phoenix was just taking a nap, BEFORE he was woken up. Phyrron walks on his tippy toes towards the bird. When he finally gets close enough, he yanks a feather off the bird then flies away. After that Phyrron was getting chased by a VERY pissed off Phoenix.
(End Flashback)
"…That's also long story…"
"So, you're saying if I tame this horse, it can help me with the future events to come?"
"That's correct!"
"Then let's do this!" I shout as I try to tackle the horse.
The horse jumps out of the way and runs in out of sight in the tree and bushes.
"Well…this is going to be hard…" I said as I got up and dusted myself off.
Just as I get up, the horse comes back and head butts me into a tree before running off again.
"Was that really necessary you damn horse!?" I yelled.
(15 minutes later)
I found the horse and slowly approach it with hey in my hand. I found him looking for something whiles his stomach growls. I then yelled to him "Hey! I got something to eat right here!" A horse does eats hey…right? He slowly walks up to me and when he saw what is in my hand, he gave me the look that said "What-the-hell-is-this!?" before head butting me into a tree again.
So no…it does not it hey…
(13 minutes later)
With a camouflage suite on, I slowly approach the horse.
15 paces away, it did not see me yet. I continue to sneak up on it.
11 paces, 8 paces, 5 pace, it did not move…
I slowly sneak up to him even more with a rope in hand. JUST when I was about to use it, he turns around and kicks me so hard, I crash into a tree. I could have sworn I saw him pimp walking away before I black out.
(? Later)
I woke up and it was now late. I just decided to go find Phyrron. Luckily he was not hard to find.
"Okay seriously, that horse is impossible!" I shouted while waking Phyrron up.
"Well…*yawn…you can try to tame him with no tricks and just offer something to him…" He replies while yawning again.
"I tried that…"
"You should know he do not like what a normal horse likes…"
He goes back to sleep.
"…"
(14 more minutes later)
I walk up to the horse and simply offer it ham. Without hesitation, it was eating it!
I jump on its back ASAP. It jumps forward and backwards and Side-to-side. It would not take me for its tamer. It then started to run in a random direction. It crashes into several trees and I do not know how it keeps moving! It dashes into thick trees that have so many leaves; one will not be able to see a thing. When we were able to see light again, we look down and of course, there is no ground.
"…You stupid horse…"
The horse and I scream to the top of our lungs as we plummet down the side of a cliff. Why the hell is their so many cliffs anyway!? The horse somehow landed on its feet as I land in a tree.
The branch under me breaks and I land face first on the ground. I could hear the chuckling of that damn horse!
"That is it!" I said as I ran up to it with my crossbow in hand.
When I got close enough, I swung at its feet so it cannot move. (What? He IS the horse that once pulled the stars, I'm pretty sure he can heal.)
The horse however jumped over the blade and tried to run off again. I was NOT letting him getting away again! I quickly jump on his back again and hold tight onto its neck. The horse runs with top speed and then suddenly stops so it can try to throw me off. It almost succeeded, but I hanged on. I was the champion of Rodeo in my village after all.
It tried a new strategy; it purposely dropped on its side trying to crush me. I jumped off just before it landed rolled a couple of feet, got back up, and glared at the horse.
"What do you want me to do so you can accept me as your master!?"
From the corner of my eye, I see a ball a fire with a man in the middle….Phyrron…I thought he was sleep, he could have freaking help me! ...its night time now isn't it?
"He wants you to beat him in a honorable duel!"
"You're saying I have to fight a horse…?"
"That's correct, and only then will he accept you!"
"Is it possible for me to kill it?"
"Hahaha! No."
"In that case, you're going down, horse!"
The horse raise his head up into the air and neighs so loud, it sounded like a war cry.
(Boss Battle)
I run towards him to get close enough with my crossbow in hand. As I get close, the horse turns around, and tries to kick with both its feet. I actually saw that attack coming and rolled under the attack. As I roll, I slash at its stomach. Leaving a successful, clean mark on the horse, I got from under it and attempt to attack again.
The horse however opened its mouth, and streams of flame starts coming from out of it!
"Well this is new…" I said before using the shield to try and block the flamethrower. I admit, that was not my best idea. By the time the horse has finished, the shield is RED hot and my arm is freaking burning.
I threw the shield off of me and thanked god I did not get any major burns.
"You bastard! I'm not even sure I want to tame you anymore!"
"Oh, you want to tame him. He will come very handy on many of your adventures." Phyrron said.
After rolling my eyes, I glare at the horse who preparing to charge again. The horse responds by opening up his wings that pretty much came from nowhere, and shoots missile like flames out of it. I dive face-first out of the way of the fire, when I do, the fire exploded on impact on the ground.
"Phyrron!" I called out. "Let me use all three of my powers!"
"But, this is supposed to be an HONARABLE due-"
"He can spit flamethrowers, and shoot missile like Flames. I'M PRETTY SURE IF I USE MY POWERS, THIS WOULD BE FAIR!"
Without another word, Phyrron equipped my crossbow with a mega-laser, creates a glowing aura around me that makes me feel like I am getting more powerful with each second that passes by, and makes my body flash blue.
The horse rushes towards me, covers itself with a cloak of flame, and attempts to tackle me. I jump out the way again. When the horse lands, he proceeds on attacking me by immediately spitting flamethrowers at me again. I run away from the wall of flames without getting tired at all. After a while, I jump again and while I am in the air, I fire my mega laser which damages the horse like crazy. When the laser dies, I can see the horse slowly getting up and limping.
(BOSS BATTLE END)
(END SCENE)
"Okay, seriously, I don't want to hurt you anymore than I already have, are you done?"
The horse lets out a small neigh.
"I guess that means you are." I said as I pick up my shield which is still very hot. I afterwards mount the horse that just flashed blue and heal all of his wounds and this time, he accepted me! "Good! You can be so friendly when you are not trying to kill me."
"Congratulations, Page!"
"Thanks, Phyrron! Now, we are we heading to next?" I asked.
"The cave of connections!" Phyrron states proudly.
"What's in the cave?"
"I'll explain as we get there. For now, let's get going!" Phyrron soars into a random direction.
Without warning, the horse starts sprinting in pursuit of Phyrron.
"Whoa! Can we please slow down! Waaah!"
