Instruments are played by the servants of the Goddess of Light, confetti rains down the royal red carpet that has been rolled by the guest's servants. Many kneels before the goddess walking down the carpet along with her angel. Although the ones in higher ranks only gave her a nod, many of the soldiers and citizens of skyworld kneels before the woman walking down the carpet who wears a long yellow dress with. She also haves long brown hair and green eyes. She looks like a normal person since she never was really a fan of jewelry or any other unnecessary decoration. The Light Goddess herself, along with her captain of her royal guard, greets her in front in the throne room of their Palace.
"Goddess Hemera?" Palutena greets.
"Goddess Palutena?" She greets back. She looks at her angel. "and Captain Pit. It is a pleasure to meet you."
"O-oh...Err, Likewise! I've heard so much about you, Goddess of Daytime." He responds. He looks over her shoulder to see...another angel. The angel gave him a quick upwards nod as he say, "'sup?"
"Uh...Hey..."
"Pit, I like you to meet Leonidas, an Angel even younger than you... I created him to protect and serve Goddess Hemera just before the underworld invasion over thirty years ago." She turns to her best friend and smiles. "Speaking of which, how is he?"
"The Angel I would not trade the world for! He may be a bit...laid back, but he has a good heart."
Pit did not know how to feel about this situation. All of this time, he was the only angel alive, but it turns out another one has been serving another goddess. Not to mention the angel with demonic weapons and powers he fought not too long ago...He stare at the angel who also wears a white tunic with black underclothes and haves white wings, black sandals, and black gloves with a glowing blue streak running down them. He haves the red orb on his left shoulder so his goddess can extract him from battle, but besides from that, nothing else. His scarf is by his waist instead of his neck and he has a rather plain looking meteor Bow strapped to his back. He has fair skin, black hair, grey eyes and a even more childish face than Pit's. He is also a bit shorter than him.
"Not much for style is he?" He thought.
"Come, Hemera. Would you like to dine?"
"Of course!"
"Pit would you lead her while I go help prepare the food with the chefs?"
"You...you're preparing the food again..." Pit asked nervously.
"Why, yes I am. Why do you think otherwise?"
"Well, Err...the last time you tried-"
"Remember Pit, we are to never speak of that." She holds a frying pan threateningly while smiling innocently.
"Eep! I'll go show you to the Dinning Room, Lady Hemera and Angel Leonidas!" He said quickly, feeling a little awkward for calling someone else the title 'angel'. She nods while smiling. Leonidas does the same and replies with a "Just call me Leo."
As they walk away, Palutena walks to a different direction. She frowns, having a feeling something bad is going to happen. When she could not bare it anymore, she heads to the two high-ranking officers of her guard.
"Lucius, Titus." She summons as the two soldiers are guarding the Deployment room. This is a room where one can see what is happening almost all of the world. They can also train, fuse weapons, and use the giant magical door that leads to the location of Palutena's choice. They both bow before acknowledging her. "Yes lady Palutena!"
These soldiers wears white fighter's armor used in LVD (Light VS Dark). They were centurions that achieved the amazing feat of winning the Sports of the Gods. The gained the badge of Promotion which transformed them into the fighters they are now. However, unlike original fighters who no one knows the origins of, they can enter and leave skyworld as they please.
"Get the guards ready. I want them along with you to patrol the edges of skyworld. I'll have the door lead there. If you see anything, send a scout to report to me before engaging them. Understood?"
"Yes Lady Palutena!" They saluted before doing their duty.
"One more thing!"
They both stop and turn back towards her. "Don't tell your captain about this. He has been working hard, so I want him to enjoy himself for once."
They saluted again and return to following their orders, making a mental note to keep Pit from hearing about this.
Palutena returns to the dinning room, watching as Leo and Pit play rock, paper and scissors. It's pretty intense. Interesting to the point Hemera is even watching.
"Rock! Paper!..." The two angels shouts before throwing out their hands one final time. "Scissors!"
Pit throws his hand out which is shaped like scissors, staring at Leo's hand who haves paper.
"And the score is... five to four! Pit wins the battle of rock, paper, scissors!" Hemera exclaims.
Pit cheers and Leo sighs, laughing a bit.
"Never have we seen a battle as legendary as this! This is the first and the most iconic battle between angels! The Rocks! The Paper! The Scissors! And most importantly, the winner!" She gestures over to Pit, who is now flexing his muscles. Hemera and the guards of the dinning room laughs with the angels. Palutena also lets out a small chuckle.
In a gigantic hole in earth itself, there lies a forest that shows no sign of human life. It is pure and utterly natural. Deep with in this forest is a palace that houses a goddess and gods plus their army, the forces of nature. Their leader is the corrupted, but powerful Viridi, Goddess of Nature.
"The troops are ready, the bomb depot is rebuilt, and the tear capture is done, master Viridi. Are you ready to invade?"
"One more thing." She say in her normally arrogant voice. "After I make this troop, their barrier will be a thing in the past!"
"Is that so? May I ask what is it?"
"No" She said, "You may not! Trust me, it's a surprise."
"If you are confident in it's abilities, than so am, I master."
"Good. I need absolute focus, so it will help me if you leave."
"Yes, Master Viridi."
Pen runs out of the door with his Templar Tome. His wings is glowing black again.
"This time, we are heading to the Rewind Spring." He said to the fifteen Mono eyes and a new monster Thanatos created for him.
"Some of the reapers surrendered and is now working for the forces of Light. There is also some centurions around here to try and re balance the cycle of souls, so be careful." Thanotos said.
"It takes them two years to do that?" Pen laughs, "Heh, slackers..."
"It's a bit harder than it sounds though. Since so many souls are where they are not supposed to be, the reapers and the centurions have to lead many into their rightful place. There is also soul eater and new souls from humans that die that does not make the job easier."
"Huh..." Pen says, "No offense, you don't sound like the type to know much about...well anything really..."
"Well I am the former leader of the reapers!" Thanatos states proudly.
Pen chuckles again. "Well I need you to lead me to my target again."
"Yes sir, Mr. Pen sir!"
His wings changes color into a dark green again.
He and his mono eyes flies through soul city. Centurions is starting to fly into shooting range and ready their bows.
Pen activates a new power. A orb appears in his left hand, the one he does not wield his tome in.
"Okay troops, shoot this orb behind me!" The mono eyes obey his command and it starts glowing an evil purple color.
"Alright, guys. That's enough." They stop afterwards.
Just as the Centurions start shooting, Pen hurls the ball at them. The ball of absorbed energy continues to absorb the shots fired by Centurions, therefore growing bigger and more powerful.
To maximize it's power, Pen swings his left hand at it, causing a ball of light to rise out of the book, then shoot towards the ball. The ball engulfs the centurions, only there screams of pain could be heard as it disappears...along with the sky soldiers that is now nothing more than ash.
"Alright, lets continue on."
"Y-you...You monster!" Said a new kind of soldier the goddess created not too far away from the scene. He haves bigger wings on his helm and don't wear much armor.
"Anything that's new?"
"I'll report this to Lady Palutena!" He flies off.
"You!" Pen calls to the new monster. It has skull as a head, a skeleton body covered by a long rope, and a Katana with the same evil blue aura a Orne haves as a weapon. It took the last bit of resources to make this, but it will be worth it if this new monster could do the job it is paid to do, and that is assassinate anything that might cause problems. In this case, it is this messenger centurion. If he alert his leader, then she will send the blasted angel and he might be a problem.
"Do what you where made to do, and stop him!"
It nods before launching at the enemy with almost mach speed with his Katana ready to kill. The soldier yelps and flies to the exit of the underworld with matching speed.
"Wow." Pen said, "I think making him was worth it."
"Told you so!" The god of Death exclaims. "In any case we are almost there!"
"Good"
Pen and the Mono eyes soars through the chaos of random scenery changes and exotic shaped objects.
Pen looks ahead to see the spring they are heading to. After a while they made it. Pen lands on the floor, however there is something already there.
"What the..."
The monster haves three halo rings under the lower half of it's body which is a golden floating tip. It's upper half has the armor of a centurion. and two arms with hands that wields a gigantic stone club with spikes on it. It wears a helm that makes it impossible to see it's face.
"What the hell is this abomination...?"
"That's a guardian, another new soldier created by Palutena." Explained Thanatos as the guardian slams it's club on the floor of the pool, causing some of the water to splash in the air. "You will have to defeat it before using the spring..."
"Mono eyes, stay back and out of range of this fight, times is hard and I don't want to lose more soldiers."
They fly out of sight in response.
"Now then..." Pen says casually as it makes a robotic roar which is not very threatening... "Prepare to be disassembled!"
I guess it is time to start giving some Idol Descriptions for monsters and weapons!... Next chapter. I'm a bit on the lazy side today. :P Remember to review! :D Thanks to all that did.
