Author's Note: Hello everyone! The final chapter is finally here! I apologize for the wait, but, I really wanted this chapter to be perfect. And I'm pretty satisfied with the result. THANK YOU all for reading! It really means SO much to me! I think I'll be back with another Rayman fic real soon! Thanks again, and enjoy!

As Rayman walked into the mass chaos of dragons in the Glade of Dreams, he couldn't help but think of Skye. He was the father? The biological father of Skye, the entire time? It was something he couldn't get it out of his mind. The more he thought about it, the more he realized he wasn't what he should have been to her.

Even though he didn't know he was her father in the first place, he still felt guilty. Skye behaved like every child should. Sweet, kind, well-mannered. Adventurous and a bit naïve as well, but what child doesn't have curiosity?

"I've been a terrible dad to Skye…" Rayman thought. He didn't even know how to tend the poor girl when they first met. It was all a huge learning process. He didn't mean to push the child away; he just wanted her to be with her parents. And now, she was. The guardian had always had a responsibility to keep the Glade safe, and now, he had a new one—his little girl. "I'm gonna make up for this, I promise."

Rayman soon reached a clearing of the Glade, surrounded by trees and bushes and other plant life. Something was wrong. It had gone quiet.

Suddenly, the Magician's laughter could be heard, followed by a whirring, mechanical sound. The machine grew closer. This machine was something Rayman hadn't seen before. And it was coming after him.

The teensy had been controlling this massive machine, which seemed to resemble a parasitic-looking colossal beetle. He cackled evilly.

"Hello, Rayman. Nice to run into you again." The little teensy smirked.

The hero of light gave an angry glare. Of all things, the Magician had come back to face him? Despite everything, Rayman didn't really want to fight. All he cared about was stopping the hordes of dragons and making sure everyone of the Glade was safe. However, if the Magician truly insists on the brawl, he wouldn't back out.

"Magician… out of everything you can do right now, you come back to find me? Why?" the limbless one gritted his teeth. "You could have just run away from this! But why did you just have to get in the way?"

"Because I am loyal to my master!" Ales barked. "Mr. Dark would never run away. Especially from you. Maybe you might be the one to stop this, but, I can't let you. Because now is my chance. The chance I've been waiting for." He hissed through his teeth before a sinister tone came from him. "The chance to finally destroy you."

The teensy swerved a level in the machine forcefully, causing the machine to move, and swing its large, sharp legs at Rayman. The hero acted quick and dodged, but the machine only grew faster and faster with each swing. It then finally caught up with him and smashed hard into Rayman, flinging him hard against a massive tree. The magician cackled again. The machine raised its sharp leg to stomp down on him, but he quickly moved away. He held his stomach. The blow had hurt him bad. He had to find a way to break down this machine, and fast.

He then saw it. The machine's legs! If he could knock them all off, the machine would collapse! Now, without fear, he ran straight underneath the colossal robot, greatly confusing Ales. Without hesitation, he swung a powerful fist at one of the four legs. The leg started to collapse. It worked!

The Magician only grew angrier. He used the other remaining legs to attempt to crush Rayman before he could finish it. Smash! Another leg shattered! Only two left!

"You aren't getting away so fast!" The teensy snapped, swinging once again at the hero. He was struck this time, but kept his balance. Luckily, it didn't harm him too bad as the first time. Impatient, Rayman rushed under the machine once more and wound up his fists, giving a smirk.

"You're the one who's done for, Magician." Rayman then smashed his two fists hard into the last two legs, breaking them off. The machine's gears stopped, the metal creaked loudly. He quickly moved aside before the collapsing robot could crush him.

It was over. The Magician's machine was defeated! The hero looked around for the Magician in the rubble, only to find him attempting to ride away in his crescent-moon shaped vehicle, but it wasn't starting up. Rayman glared at him, and Ales just gulped in response. Before the limbless hero could step closer, the sounds of the dragons still echoed. He took a look around. It wasn't quite over yet.

When he looked back, the Magician was already pedaling away, laughing! This frustrated the hero, but he no longer cared. He was gone now, and he just needed to take care of this. But how?

It then struck him—Pix! Of course! The magical being who's magic was used to spawn these creatures. Perhaps it was the antidote as well! And even if she couldn't, perhaps Ly and the Nymphs could fix this. If nothing could be helped, Rayman just didn't want to leave without his friends and family. He'd stay until their last moment together.

Right now, this was his best shot. He rushed back to the others.

"Ly! Betilla! Pix!" the hero called out as he reached the evacuation area. He then spotted them, sighing in relief. Skye was there too, smiling at him. It was the last thing Rayman expected.

"Daddy!" The child called out, running over to him and hugging him. It was maybe the best feeling Rayman had ever felt.

"Dad, is everything okay now?" Skye asked, with an innocent smile. As much as he didn't want to break her spirit, he couldn't lie to her. He sighed.

"Not quite yet. I need to speak with your mother."

As though summoned, Pix walked over to them, rubbing her arm slightly. She was nervous and scared, that much was obvious. Rayman gestured to Skye with his hands to run along to play. She did just that.

Rayman then turned his attention to Pix. "Pix, I guess I was wrong about this."

The sprite hesitated. "Wrong? I don't understand."

"I mean…I can't do this alone." He held out his hand to her. "I need you to help me. Do you think your magic can stop this?"

"Oh, Rayman, I thought I told you… but… I don't think I'm strong enough. I don't think my magic can handle reversing something like this… I…I…"

Without speaking, he took her hand.

"It's worth a try. You're strong. I know you can do it."

She stared at him, and gripped his hand in return. She took a deep breath and nodded. The hero looked around for the Nymphs and Ly.

"We might need a bit more help too. But I know with all of us, maybe we can stop this thing and get our home back."

Rayman hollered to the Nymphs and Ly and together with Pix as well, the stirred up a plan…

The lair of the Magician seems so quiet now. Almost too quiet. The only sound that could be heard was the machine that was connected to Pix. The machine that was spawning these monsters.

Rayman, Pix, Ly and the Nymphs approached quietly and carefully. Rayman sighed. The machine was somehow functioning without electricity. Was this really even possible? Wired sparked madly around said machine, as it rumbled and shaked violently.

Rayman took a deep breath. "Pix… you think you can handle this?"

The sprite just stared at the machine, a concerned look in her face before she said: "I have to try."

She drew her hands together, forming a small, but powerful, golden glow of light. She carefully stepped closer, and moved her hands onto the machine, but the sparks crackling frightened her, and caused the light to fade.

"You can do it." A familiar, sweet voice said, stepping closer to her. It was Ly the fairy. She too drew energy into her hands and shined the light spell onto the machine. Pix nodded and returned the action. Without hesitation, the Nymphs joined in to help as well. The machine still shook and lashed powerful electricity, but they had to try. It was their last hope.

Rayman stepped closer and looked at the machine. It was hardly being affected. Then, Rayman got one more idea.

"Guys, try giving me the energy." He said. "With the energy from all of you, and my strength, maybe we can put an end to this thing once and for all."

The magical beings looked at each other before nodding and transferring their magic to Rayman. The hero readied his fists, and breathed.

"Please let this work." He said quietly. He then drew his fists together and smashed the machine with all his strength. The machine snapped loud electricity before it finally made a low sound, and finally shut down.

It went silent again. Pure silence now, at last. The dragons roared and began to vanish. Betilla looked outside from a hole near the cave.

"It's…It's really over." She said, sighing.

Rayman stood in place, before he started to laugh. This seemed to confuse the others greatly. Pix slowly stepped over to him.

"Rayman, are you…"

Before she could finish, he turned to her and hugged her tightly. He let out a relieved sigh, smiling slightly.

"Yes, Pix. I'm fine. I'm perfect now that I have all of you here."

She just smiled in return, and returned his embrace.

A few days later…

Rayman and Pix had taken a walk away from the celebration the entire Glade threw for Rayman's achievement. Since the whole thing had ended, Rayman still could not find the Magician…but, he decided to forget about it. At least, for now.

"Rayman." Pix broke the silence.

"Yeah?"

"I just wanted to ask… now that everything is settled, I… I guess me and Skye should go? I know you have so many people here that need you here, and, I don't think…"

"Stop beating yourself up on that, will ya?" he replied.

She blushed slightly. "I… I just don't want to get in the way."

"You aren't. Not you, not Skye. In fact, I'm really happy you guys came into my life."

She blinked in surprise. "R-Really?"

He nodded. "Yeah. I know I might not have seemed so hyped before, but, now, it just feels right. You two… have really made me feel like I just need to fight harder. As cheesy as it sounds. Heh."

She nodded.

"I'm willing to give this family thing a try if you are."

She looked at him and took his hand, giving him a smile, a smile that seemed the brightest she ever had before. "It's worth a try."
