Tim arrived at the safe house to find two frazzled and exhausted agents waiting for him.

"I feel like I have lived through a whole season of Jersey Shore in just twelve hours.", complained John Babin, the senior agent from Balboa's team, as soon as Tim entered the house.

Tim just grinned at the man. Every agent disliked babysitting details but when you have to watch one of the upper class it usually got a bit tedious. "Sit rep?" was all he said.

"To start with last night she threw a temper tantrum because we wouldn't take her to Benoit's on 6th Street for supper."

His partner James Sutton decided to interrupt at that point in a very fake falsetto voice, "I have two armed federal agents for body guards surely you could protect me while I eat a decent meal. My brother hates Benoit's, he wouldn't be caught dead there."

Babin then continued with the sit rep, "She finally settled down about 2300 and the rest of the night was quite."

Sutton just raised an eyebrow at his partner, " Except her complaining every five minutes that she wanted the good-looking young agent she spoke to at the yard yesterday to come visit her", again he changed his voice, "He knows how to treat a lady."

Babin looked at his partner and shook his head, "Do the head slaps Gibbs gives you guys work? I might start using that technique on him.", he said nodding to his partner.

Ms. Jennifer Scaletti exited the bathroom at that moment pouting until her eyes landed on Tim. "Finally someone who understands my needs."

"Ms. Scaletti, what can I do for you?" Tim responded with a fake grin.

"Well for starters I need a decent meal. Those two expected me to eat the nastiest take out pizza on the planet last night and the only thing they offered me for breakfast was coffee."

"Ms Scaletti, I explained to you yesterday that you would need to keep a low profile for a short time while we rounded up your brother and his associates. Soon the agents from Witness Protection will be here and they will tell you everything you need to know and help you get started on your new life."

He silently prayed that they would hurry up. He didn't want to be stuck with a five year old hiding in a thirty year old body for long. Honestly the woman made Abby seem mature, not that he would ever say that out loud.

The woman once again started to pout and whined, "Could you at least help me pack up the few things they let me grab from my place before they brought me here?"

Tim took a deep breathe and nodded the sooner the woman was packed up and gone the sooner he could get back to the yard and begin planning the raids that would take down her brother's organization. From what his computer searches showed yesterday they would be taking out the largest organized crime family on the East Coast and with the information Ms. Scaletti gave them yesterday it would basically be a complete removal of the entire family.

Days like today were the reason he joined law enforcement, he would make a difference.

Tim entered the bedroom while Babin and Sutton watched the front for the agents from Witness Protection and DiNozzo once either car arrived they would be free to leave.

The two cars arrived at the same time and introductions were quickly made a credentials were verified, just as the two NCIS agents were about to head to the car all hell broke loose.

A van pulled up blocking in the cars in the driveway and letting out a dozen armed men who began firing on the group in the house at the same time more armed men broke down the back door of the house. In a matter of seconds the quite neighborhood had turned into a war zone.

DiNozzo yelled, "Where's McGee?"

"In the back getting her bags." the response came quickly but from which agent he wasn't sure.

His gut was tightening up in fear Tim was alone in the back of the house and he couldn't get his six right away.

Just then a yell and gun fire came from the back, "Get her out now!" Tony didn't need any more motivation to move he started picking off the assailants one by one blazing a path to the front to with the small woman tucked in safely behind him.

Upon looking out the front window he realized that his car was the only available for escape was the one he drove to the house. He quickly reached in his pockets and handed the keys to the agents from the other agency. "We'll lay down cover fire for you to get to the car.", he ordered.

He then looked at the two NCIS agents with him, "On three. One, two, …" all the agents started firing at the men on the front lawn allowing the other two agents and the witness a safe path of escape.

The remaining invaders ran back to the van to pursue the car but were stopped by gun fire blowing out tires and destroying the engine.

The three NCIS agents surrounded the van and subdued the men inside.

DiNozzo left the men from Balboa's team in charge of the prisoners while he returned to the house to check on his partner.

The house was ransacked, bullet holes everywhere and dead or injured people scattered on the floor.

He started checking the bodies and the final count inside the house was ten dead and seven wounded, but the one thing that turned his blood cold was the fact that McGee wasn't among the dead of wounded. He had simply vanished into thin air.
