Frank smiled as the two walked down the street a fishing rod in both of their left hands swung back and forth loosely as the two walked side by side together enjoying each others company. Frank came to a door and opened it letting the redhead enter first before coming over to the counter. The man behind the counter smiled and took out the necklace as Gwen wondered around the room curious about the strange ticking ornaments. "Here" He opened it for him to inspect it.

Frank looked down at the two pictures inside. One was of a little baby girl with bright green eyes smiling at the camera. The next picture was about to make him collapse. It was a picture of his family, him, Lilly, Ken and even his baby daughter.

Frank snatched it out of his hands and gave him a 50 dollar note before walking straight out the room and outside calling Max. Gwen noticed his rushful mood and headed outside to see him on the phone with his back to her. She arched her eyebrow tapping him on the back. He turned round shocked to see her.

"See you soon, Dad" Frank whispered into the phone before staring down at her afraid. "Something wrong?" She asked. He shook his head. "Are we seeing Max?" Gwen asked. He nodded.

"I need to speak to him ASAP" He informed her taking her wrist and pulling her towards the car where he opened the door for her and let her in. Gwen watched as he slipped in next to her before placing a seatbelt round him and buckling it before turning on the ignition. Gwen followed his lead before looking back over to him.

"Did I do something wrong?" She asked. "No," He told her coming out of the carpark and onto the road. "Then can I have my necklace back?" She asked. He shook his head. "After I've spoken to my dad then you can have it back, okay?" He told her as Gwen sighed turning her head to the window.

Frank knocked on his dad's RV awaiting for him to see the man. Max smiled as he opened the door to see the two. "Afternoon," Max smiled to the two before Frank barged in. Gwen tried to follow but he snapped at her to wait outside.

Max looked over to her in sympathy before closing the door on her and returning to Frank who sat down on the seat near the table. "Something wrong, kiddo?" Max asked watching the redhead sitting down tapping her fingers on a nearby bench waiting.

"yeah," Frank pulled out the locket. "This is Gwen's," Frank passed it to Max as he opened it up to see his son and his wife as well as his family. "Why would Gwen have a picture of you and your family?" Max asked sitting down opposite him.

"I, um, think Gwen's my daughter" Frank admitted causing Max's eyes to wide. He gulped looking out the window to see her looking down at her palms.

"Does Gwen know?" Max asked. Frank avoided eye contact.
I don't think so" He stood up. "She's an antodyte though, why does she look human?" Frank asked looking down at Max. "Where did you find her?" The interrogator asked. Max sighed. "It's a disguise," Max stood up. "She was being chased by a bounty-hunter who was going to sell her to an Osmosisan (Energy sucker)" Max looked out to the girl to see her surrounded by a few birds.

"That bounty-hunters still out there and Gwen can't go home til he's out of the way" Max told him. "Why don't you just get Verdona?" Frank asked. "Because that would put Verdona in danger" Max informed him. Frank sighed looking over to his daughter.

"What's Lilly going to say? She'll throw her out" Frank raised his eyebrows in fear. "Just don't tell her" Max crossed his arms. Frank nodded about to walk outside.

"Thanks dad" He forced a smile before coming over to his daughter. Max watched as he placed a hand on her back ready to take her home.

Gwen sat there quietly watching the night-time rain outside from the house as she sat and ate her dinner. She had continuously noticed Frank's wondering gaze pierce her's everytime she looked towards the people sitting down quietly. She wanted an escape from the uncomfortableness. "Gwen?" Her attention was brought back by Lilly staring at her as well as Frank.

"Yes?" She asked returning back to her. "Do you want anymore to eat?" Lilly asked gently. Gwen looked down at her plate noticing a few peas, mash and a sausage. She placed her fork down. "I'm okay, thankyou" Gwen smiled happily. Lilly smiled back at her. "Do you want me to take the dishes?" Gwen was about to get up. Lilly smiled nodding. "Such a polite girl" She whispered to Frank who didn't respond, he just kept his hand to his mouth thinking on the edge of his seat.

Gwen was about to get up before Frank took hold of Gwen's arm. "Please sit down" He whispered as both Lilly and Gwen stared at her arching her eyebrow. Gwen slowly sat down.

"Lilly do you mind picking up the dishes. I need to talk to Gwen, alone" Frank whispered avoiding eye contact.

"Okay," Lilly nodded getting up and taking all three of their plates before leaving the room. "Is something wrong?" Gwen asked weakly. Frank reached into his pocket pulled out Gwen's locket. Gwen smiled. "Hey, he fixed it" Gwen whispered about to grab it but Frank pulled it away from her. Gwen stared at him in shock. "That's mine; can I please have it back?" She pointed to it dumbly.

"Gwen, we have to talk" He whispered avoiding eye contact. "About your parents" Gwen tensed feeling uncomfortable about the conversation.

"What's wrong?" Gwen whispered. "Your grandmother, what's her name?"

"Verdona"

"Verdona what?"

"I don't know" She shook her head.

He sighed turning to her. "Gwen, are you an Antodyte?" Frank asked as Gwen's eyes widened. She stood up backing away. "Who are you? What do you want?" She practically yelled at him balling her fists. "Gwen, please sit down" Frank whispered but she didn't want to. She shook her head making Frank stand up.

"Gwendolyn" He tried to take her arm but she backed away. "Gwendolyn" She was freaking out now. She placed her hands up backing away thinking he was going to hurt her or worse, give her up to the bounty hunter.

"Gwen I'm not going to hurt you just please sit down" Frank took her gently leading her over to the couch. Gwen nodded gently still keeping her hands up.

"Gwen, no-ones going to hurt you. I just want to talk" Frank whispered sitting down opposite her. She shook her head uninterested and looking for an escape. "What do you want?" She gripped the furniture. Frank sighed looking down at the locket in his hands. He passed it to her. Gwen looked down at it before looking up at him.

She opened it up and noticed the pictures. She gulped standing up. "Where's the actual pictures?" She asked looking up at him with crying eyes. "Those are the actual pictures, Gwen" He stood up coming over to her and sitting down next to her.

"Verdona is my mother" He whispered looking down at the photos. "Gwen, I think you're my daughter" He whispered.

Gwen shook her head. "Grandma told me you were dead" She whispered. He sighed. "She said that to protect you. I gave you up so you could have a better life with your grandma. I didn't want you to feel out of place or indifferenced if you stayed with us" He whispered softly. Tears streamed down her pale cheeks. Frank took hold of her hugging her.

"I'm sorry Gwen," He whispered. Gwen stared at him in desperation and confusion. She sighed hugging him back. "Sorry I freaked out" She mumbled as Frank released her wiping the tears off her cheeks.

Instantly, Lilly came waltzing through the door. Gwen was about to stand and hug her before Frank grabbed her covering her mouth and whispering into her ear. "Your mother can't find out" Gwen's eyes opened. "What? She's my mother?" Gwen stared at him shocked. "Gwenny, just trust me on this" He hugged her comfortingly. Gwen sighed and hugged him back. "Yeah, okay" She sighed.
