Gwen watched happily as Lily taught the girl how to knit. To be honest, Gwen wasn't that interested in the knitting but she was just happy to be spending time with her mother whether she knew it or not.

Gwen stared up at her mother's pale complexion. Blue eyes darker bluer than any ocean with small crow's feet underlining them. On the inside, Gwen could tell the resembance that they shared. She was just as stuborn as Gwen and held her composure well. "So then you spin it round...Gwen are you listening to me...Gwen?...Gwen?"

"Huh? Sorry, I got distracted" Gwen admitted turning her attention towards the dark red ball of cotton that Gwen had managed to screw up into one giant knot.

Lily smiled warmly at her. "You know, I can tell your not that interested in leaning how to knit but it's a good skill to pick up. Helps you to relax as well as create something" Lily smiled.

Gwen thought back to how powers how she could pretty much poof anything to her hands with just the flick of her wrist. Gwen smirked. "Yeah, it's a good feeling" She sat back in her chair reminising on her past. "You know, I can teach you how to make cookies if you want?" Lily asked her. Gwen's eyes lit up as her eyebrow arched. "Cookies? What are those?" Gwen asked. Lily stared at her shocked. "You've never had a cookie before?" She asked curiously. "I've never even heard of them, they sound sweet though" Gwen smiled. Lily smiled back placing a lit hand on Gwen's shoulder. "Why don't I teach you how to make them?" She asked. Gwen smiled back warmly touched by her mothers words.

They were bonding. She was actually bonding with her own mother. "I'd like that" Gwen whispered. Lily stood up. "Great, I'll go get the oven warmed up why don't you clear away the knitting utensils" She walked into the kitchen leaving Gwen alone. The redhead stood up and began packing away before Ben entered the room. "Morning Gwen" He smiled at her. Gwen smiled back with glee. "Ben, great news" She jumped at him. Ben took a step back frightened by her sudden outburst.

"Uh, what?" He grabbed her shoulders settling her down. "I found my parents" Gwen bursted out. "What?" Ben's eyes lit up. "I thought you said your parents were dead"

"They are...were...but they're not. They're alive and there in Bellwood" Gwen told him. Ben took her waist holding her closer. "That's great Gwen, when can I meet them?" He asked. Gwen smiled. "You already have?"

"Huh?"

"Ben, you're in there house" Ben's eyes widened he took a step away from her. "What?"

"Yeah, Lily and Frank are my actual birth parents. My dad got my pendent to open a boom there they were; my family" Gwen showed him the pendent. Ben stared at it in shock not wanting to believe it. "Isn't this great?" Gwen smiled.

"No," Ben muttered as Gwen tucked her necklace back under her shirt.

"What?" Gwen asked not hearing him correctly. "I mean, that's great, Gwen" Ben answered. Gwen smiled back.

"But how does that even make sense; Lily and Frank are both humans and well...you're not exactly human" Ben stared at her. Gwen's smile faded as she looked down at herself still in her human disguise. "Well...I don't know how to explain that but that doesn't matter. I found my family" Gwen smiled hugging him. Ben shook his head not wanting to believe that the two were related. Ben thought about it for a second. Only a second before he pushed her away. "No," Ben bit back.

Gwen stared at him shocked. "What's wrong?" Gwen asked. Ben stared down at her. "This isn't your family Gwen, your families dead and if they're not dead then they're on Antodyne" Ben yelled at her causing all of Gwen's glee and happiness to drop.

"Benjamin!" Ben turned round to see Frank standing there wearing a suit and holding his briefcase. "Why are you lying to her?" Ben asked him. "I'm not lying to her Ben" Frank put his briefcase down and walked over to the two. He noticed Gwen's eyes on the verge of tears. He didn't want to see his daughter cry. No, not again. At least not while he was around. "Ben, I know you don't like the idea but Gwen is part of our family. She's my daughter and your cousin" Frank crossed his arms. "I don't have a cousin" Ben bit back. "Yes you do"

"How is she even related to us?"

Frank sighed. "Your grandmothers an Antodyte 's where Gwen gets her powers and that's why she's an alien. Not human" Frank answered him. "Does aunt Lily know?" Ben asked remembering her not liking the idea of the supernatural. Frank turned to his daughter seeing her stare up into his puppy dog eyes. "No and she can't find out at least not right now" Frank brought his daughter in for a hug. Ben stared across at the two holding each other.

"But Gwen has to go home" Ben whispered to Frank. Frank looked down at his daughter who released him and thought about what Ben said.

"I know Ben" She whispered. "And I want to, believe me. I'm sick of not having my powers and being stuck here but I still want to spend at least some time with my family" Gwen stared over to Ben. It took him off guard. "I'm sorry Gwen" He walked up to her as she closed her eyes.

"I didn't mean to hurt your feelings" He whispered. Gwen smiled back at him. "Apology accepted" She whispered kissing him on the lips. Frank stared at the two of them eyes widened in fear. "THAT'S ENOUGH" Frank ripped the both of them apart before Lily came in to see what the fuss was about. "What?" Gwen stared up at him arching an eyebrow. "Oh, Frank leave them alone" Lily giggled lightly looking over to the two of them. "Lily you don't understand" He told her before looking over to Ben. "I think you should leave" Frank told him. "I'm sor-"

"GO!"

"Frank what's a matter with you?" Lily asked. Frank grabbed Gwen's shoulders. "Gwen don't ever do that again do you understand me?" He asked her. Gwen's eyes alit in fear as she quickly nodded. "What's wrong?" She asked.

"What you did was wrong. You can't do that Gwen"

"But we love each other"

"Well you can't"

Gwen gritted her teeth. "That's not fair" Gwen pushed him back before running up stairs.

"What was all that about?" Lily asked. "Nothing, Natilly. Listen will you go up stairs and talk to her for me, I need to ring Dad" Frank walked over to the phone asking his father to come round.

Something wrong son?" Max asked as he walked in through the door. "yeah," Frank nodded. "It's about Gwen?"

"Did something happen?" He asked. Frank took a seat on his couch before nodding. "I think Gwen needs a bit more time here to adjust" Frank told him. "Adjust?" Max questioned sitting down opposite him. "Gwen's been here for a couple weeks now, I don't think she needs to let alone wants to adjust. Just tell me what's going on?" Max asked. Frank sighed. "I don't want to lose my daughter again, Dad. I want Gwen to stay here"

"So what do you want me to do? Tell Gwen that she's not allowed to go home?"

"She is home and no. I just want a bit more time for her to stay with us maybe she'll decide that she wants to stay"

"That's a terrible idea"

"It's a good one"

"Lily's not going to go along with playing happy families with an alien, especially an Antodyte. Once she finds out Gwen's one she's going to go ballistic"

"You don't know that"

"Yes, I do besides it's safer for Gwen if she goes home to where she belongs; with Verdona" Max stood up.

"Dad, wait" Frank stopped him from leaving. "Just give me a month" Frank asked. "Just, one month to show you that Gwen belongs with us. In our family and that Lily can accept her"

Max leaned on his leg thinking about it. "I'll tell the plumbers to stop signalling Antodyne for a while but only for a month after that Verdona comes here and Gwen can decide for herself" Max walked out the door. Frank smiled before looking up the stairs ready to keep the secret from her.
