Chapter 16: The NetBattle Singles Tournament Part 1!
*In An Underground Home With Bass and his evil daughter Eros.*
"I think it would be best for you Zero, to end my daughter's life." Bass said.
"And then we can get married." Eros said and kisses Zero's cheek. He chuckles.
"Yes sir, I shall end Airisu's life." Zero replied. Zola and Solo make their way inside Bass's underground home with ShadeMan, Slur and Serenade.
"Welcome." Bass greets his friends.
"Greetings Bass." Zola greets Bass.
"Hello sir." Solo greets Bass. Serenade was dating Slur. Their love just happened yesterday. Bass didn't care as long as they follow his orders. "We still haven't found Kluke for our son Andropov."
"Well look for her." Bass said as he was sitting in a throne like chair that Mr King used.
"We will keep looking." Zola said holding onto her blade. Solo was also holding onto his blade. Bass was a little confused on why they were holding their blades.
"Don't worry. They will not hurt you." ShadeMan said. Bass nods in response and walks to the two white haired people.
"Get Kluke and bring her here to me first. Then you can take her to your son." Bass said to Solo and Zola.
"That sounds like a good idea." Solo said, looking at Zola. Bass smirked and turns his attention to ShadeMan.
"Yes my lord?" He asked.
"I want you to capture my daughter Airisu and make sure she doesen't fight back and make sure her friends or her lover don't know a thing."
"Yes sir. I will do what you ask of me." ShadeMan bows down to Bass and walks away with Slur and Serenade. Eros sits down as her father speaks with her about another plan to bring her twin sister if ShadeMan fails his duty.
"OK dad but can Sincere and Nastenka help me with the plan?"
"Of course they can Eros." Bass said and hugs his evil daughter.
"We could slit Iris's damn throat." Eros said chuckling.
"Everything will work out just right." Bass said.
"Of course it will father." Eros said and hugs her father.
"I'm going to make sure that you kill Airisu."
"I will not fail you dad. I will kill my sister and bring the CyberBeasts to life and they will destroy DenTech City and everyone insight so that we can build our own city here and then I shall bring this world to it's knees." Eros said referring to how she wants a child with Zero and that she will become not only Queen of the UnderNet but of the world. Bass wanted the UnderNet to replace the destroyed city of DenTech and bring all the evil Navis into the world as humans including Serenade, Slur and ShadeMan.
"Yes you will." He said and kissed her forehead and sends her off to find his second daughter, Airisu/Iris.
*Next Week at school in the gym*
"Welcome ladies and gentlemen to out NetBattle Singles Tournament!" Ribitta announced in her microphone as the crowd cheers. "Our contestants are ready to do battle with one another. Here they are! Enzan, Netto, Meiru, Airisu, Subaru, Misora, Sherrice, Jack, Dex and Ben! We have made our first match for today and that is Jack and Corvous VS Dex and GutsMan!"
"ALRIGHT! I'm going first I'm going to beat you Jack!" Dex was pumped for this match and he was going to battle Jack and his NetNavi Corvous.
"Let's get this over with." Jack said and walks to the NetBattle stage with Dex, ignoring his reply as he goes on the left side and Jack was on the right. Both plug their PETS in and out come GutsMan and Corvous into the NetField. Corvous had no NetNavi body like the others, he floated in the air as he was made of fire and energy and had dark sharp claws and was very hot. GutsMan laughs as he sees this NetNavi.
"What are you? A flying freak!?" GutsMan asked as he laughs hard at the weird looking Navi.
"I am a Phoenix." Corvous said not liking GutsMan.
"Battle starts in 1 minute!" Ribitta announced.
"LETS GO JACK!" Kluke cheered him on as Jack smiled at her. Jack chooses claws for Corvous and a fire beam shot and a flame claws. GutsMan chose his big fists and rocket punch launchers and a battle axe.
"I'm going to squash this guy!" GutsMan said.
"That's the spirit GutsMan." Dex said to his NetNavi.
"Not gonna happen." Jack said.
"You tell him." Corvous said.
"LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!" Ribitta said as GutsMan and Corvous charge one another. Corvous flies in the air as GutsMan fires his rocket puncher fists and Corvous dodges them. Jack smirked as his NetNavi scratches GutsMan's face and he punches Corvous hard. He goes flying into the NetField wall. The crowd 'oos and awes'.
"Nice hit GutsMan." Dex said.
"Get back in there Corvous!" Jack yelled.
"Yes sir." Corvous said and opens his mouth and fires his fire beam from his mouth at a blocking GutsMan.
"Nice block GutsMan. Now hit that flame Navi to the dirt."
"Yes Dex." GutsMan said and runs at Corvous and punches him but Corvous flies up and delivers a punch of his own. GutsMan falls down. Corvous's claws were now on fire and it seemed that Jack was going to end this.
"END IT NOW CORVOUS!" Jack yelled. Dex and GutsMan gasp as Corvous delivers the final blow and GutsMan screams and logs out as Dex was not happy and screams in defeat. Jack smirked and Corvous also smirked folding his arms.
"Looks like I win the first round." He said to Jack.
"Yes you did Corvous." Jack said and unplugs his PET and Dex does also.
"JACK AND CORVOUS ARE THE WINNERS OF THE FIRST ROUND!" Ribitta announced as the crowd cheers for Jack and Tia and Miyu were smiling as their little brother won the first round. Kluke hugs Jack as he blushes.
"Nice work Jack." Said Airisu.
"You did pretty well back there." Netto said.
"Thanks guys" Jack sits down with the others as Dex does also and the second round was getting started.
"Our second battle is Subaru VS Misora!" Ribitta announced. They look at each other and wish one another luck as they walk to the NetField. They plug their PET into the system and out comes Lyra and Omega-Xis with their weapons out and ready to battle one another. Omega-Xis had a war hammer and Lyra had her same silver guitar weapon and armor. Omega-Xis had a helmet on that looked like a beast and he had dark green armor.
"Let's do this." He said.
"Let's win Lyra." Misora said and Omega-Xis charges Lyra. Lyra dodges his hammer strike and smacks the back of his head with her weapon. Omega-Xis turns around to face Lyra.
"I wont go easy on you Lyra." Omega-Xis said to her.
"And I wont either." Lyra stands her ground as Omega-Xis walks to her and swings his weapon and Lyra blocks it with her weapon. Omega-Xis pushes Lyra as she pushes back.
"THIS IS A BATTLE OF STRENGTH EVERYONE!" Ribitta yelled as the crowd was in awe.
"Come on Misora and Lyra!" Meiru cheered for her friend as the other contestants watch the battle unfold. Sherrice didn't care about this fight. She was keeping her eye on Jack Virgo Wilson. Netto was cheering for Subaru and Omega-Xis.
"I can beat you Omega-Xis." Lyra said.
"I'm stronger then you. You cant beat me." Omega-Xis said as he looks deep into Lyra's eyes and throws her across the NetField. The crowd gasps.
"HOLY CRAP!" Yai shouted in amazement
"Wow, Omega-Xis is powerful." Luna said also in amazement.
"Get up Lyra!" Misora told her NetNavi. "You're going to have to watch out for the throws by Omega-Xis.
"Yes Misora." Lyra responded.
"Good job Omega-Xis." Subaru said. Lyra gets up and sees that Omega-Xis is walking towards her. Lyra's weapon was on the floor not even close to her. Omega-Xis kicks to her. Lyra was confused by his actions.
"I'm not going to fight you without your weapon in your hands." Omega-Xis said with some kindness in his voice. Lyra had never seen or heard this kind of Omega-Xis before. He was full of himself and this wasn't the same Omega-Xis than before. Lyra nods and grabs her weapon and walks to Omega-Xis. He swings at her and she ducks and kicks him in the stomach and Lyra fires an energy beam from her silver guitar harp weapon and it hits Omega-Xis in the chest. He stumbles back a bit and Lyra jumps into the air and slams her weapon down on him. Omega-Xis catches Lyra and throws her again. She hits the floor hard and this time her weapon was with her. Omega-Xis comes running at her and swings for the final blow. Lyra rolls out of the way and again Omega-Xis swings at her. Lyra rolls again out of the way and stands up and hits him in the gut with a kick again and uppercuts Omega-Xis and he falls back. The crowd cheers. Misora smirks at Subaru and he smirks back. Omega-Xis grabs Lyra's foot and hits Lyra's right leg with his other hand with the war hammer. Lyra screams as her leg was broken and she falls down in pain. The crowd gasps again.
"LYRA!" Misora screamed at her in shock at what Subaru's NetNavi done to her NetNavi.
"End it Omega-Xis." Subaru said and Misora gasped. Omega-Xis swings again and was going to hit Lyra in the face. This would surely be the end for Lyra in the competition. Lyra looks at Omega-Xis.
"I'm sorry Lyra." He said to her before hitting her in the face and Lyra logs out as the battle ends. Some of the crowd cheers for Omega-Xis and some were still in shock. Misora smiles knowing she did her best against her boyfriend Subaru.
"OUR WINNERS OF THE SECOND BATTLE: SUBARU AND OMEGA-XIS!" Ribitta announced.
"What an excellent battle those two pulled off." Airisu said.
"Yes, they did quite well against each other." Enzan added.
"Our third battle is brewing everyone. And I think you are all going to enjoy this one." Ribitta said grabbing the audiences attention for the third battle. "The third match is Netto and Megaman VS Meiru and Roll!"
"Really!?" Netto asked astonished by Ribitta's announcement.
"No way! This is going to be awesome." Megaman said from Netto's PET.
"Show Megaman what you can do Roll." Meiru told Roll.
"I shall Meiru." Roll smiled and winked. Subaru and Misora sit down back at the contestant seats and watch Netto and Meiru go for the third battle at hand.
"You can do this Roll!" Lyra yelled from her PET.
"Show Roll you can beat her Megaman." Omega-Xis said from his PET. Netto and Meiru plugin their PETS into the NetField's system and were ready for a fight. Netto picked his signature hand-gauntlet blaster for Megaman to use and also a smoke bomb and a blue dark colored cyber sword. Roll entered with her signature weapon: The hand-gauntlet arrow launcher. And she chose a blind bomb and an azure colored cyber arrow staff weapon. Roll was going to start with the azure cyber staff. Megaman was going to start off with his signature blaster. Ribitta announces the third battle has begun. The crowd went crazy as this was going to be one hell of a battle between Megaman and Roll who both had feelings for one another. Megaman makes the first move as he shot a blast at Roll who blocks it with a spin of her cyber staff. She smirked at Megaman. Megaman keeps shooting at Roll and she still blocks his attacks with spins of her staff.
"LET'S GO MEIRU!" Dex cheered for his crush. Meiru didn't hear him as the crowd was loud.
"Keep shooting Megaman then we can catch her off guard with a smoke bomb."
"Roger that Netto." Megaman said and keeps shooting at Roll as she fakes yawn as Megaman cant hit her as she blocks all of his strikes. But then Megaman fires the smoke bomb and Roll thinks it is still a blast shot from Megaman and she didn't see the bomb and it explodes once it made contact with her staff. Roll was shocked and frighten by the explosion as she falls down and couldn't see anything.
"Meiru! I cant see anything!" Roll freaked out.
"Calm down Roll, I'm giving you your bomb now." Meiru said and clicked on a button on the mini screen that showed the HP of the NetNavis and their weapons and their stamina. Roll's staff changed to the light bomb and was getting ready to throw it at Megaman if he appears that is.
"I don't see him."
"Just wait for the right moment Roll."
"Ok Meiru." Roll waits for 2 minutes and no sign of Megaman as the smoke was still around Roll and she sees a shadow and throws the bomb and Megaman screams as he is blinded and Roll runs and kicks him and slaps him. Megaman falls down holding his eyes as they burn from the bright light bomb that Roll blinded him with. Netto couldn't believe it. Megaman kicks Roll down and kicks her again in the head as she goes down. Both didn't want to hurt one another but they had no choice but to fight. Roll got her cyber sword from Meiru as Netto gives Megaman his cyber sword and both NetNavis go at it with their blades. The battle was intense. Eros was watching at the window of the school. She kept her eyes on her sister Airisu and Meiru and Misora. Nastenka and Sincere weren't their with her as they went shopping for some clothes for their disguises for school soon.
"Soon Airisu, you will fall." Eros said to herself. Megaman VS Roll was still going on but it was almost finished. Just one more hit from both Navis and it would all be over. Both Navis hadn't moved and both stabbed each other and both logged out. Who won?
