Chapter 18: The NetBattle Singles Tournament Part 2!

The Next Day: Back at the gym for the continuation of the Singles NetBattle tournament*

"Welcome back everyone to the continuation of our Singles NetBattle Tournament" Ribitta announced. "I'm proud to announce that Enzan and Airisu may continue the fight if they wish too or one can forfeit."

"We want to continue." Enzan said looking at his girlfriend.

"Alright then...step up and let's NetBattle!" The crowd cheers as Ribitta announced the next battle then it was going to be the semi-finals. Enzan and Airisu make their way to the NetField's system and they plug in their PETS into the system and Protoman and Zera enter it, both with cyber swords. They charge at one another and battle it out. The crowd were cheering for both Protoman and Zera. The battle goes on for 5 minutes.

"This is a great fight!" Netto said with joy, he and Maylu were both into the NetBattle and Ribitta said that they can have a rematch after Enzan and Protoman VS Airisu and Zera was over. Yai wanted Chaud to win and she didn't like Airisu. Her sister Luna didn't care at all who won this battle. Miyu couldn't predict who was going to win, but she had a choice that maybe Airisu and Zera could pull it off. Sal was in favor for Enzan and Protoman. Zera and Protoman continued to battle one another. None still not getting an edge on a win. Enzan and Airisu both had hope for their Navis. The others couldn't wait for the winner to be announced. Zera was down as Protoman had slashed her. Protoman looks down at her and was going to strike again. Zera kicks him and strikes him now with a deadly slash.

"I think this all over folks!" Ribitta announces as the people were really into this NetMatch. Enzan smiled at Airisu and nods at her signalling her to end this Battle. Airisu nods back and Zera smiled at Protoman before slashing him once more for the win. Protoman logs put and Enzan wasn't upset at all. "AND THE WINNERS ARE: AIRISU & ZERA MYTHOS!" The fans cheer for Airisu and Zera. Netto and Meiru's rematch was going to start now. Netto and Meiru decided to use only their default weapons for their NetNavis. Netto and Meiru walk to the Net System and plug in their PETS and out come Megaman and Roll into the NetField. "Our last battle starts now!" Ribitta said and the crowd goes nuts. The other contestants watch the next battle. Roll had her default weapon on and so did Megaman. Roll fires 3 arrows and Megaman fires 3 blaster shots. Each connecting with the other and a huge explosion occurs and Roll and Megaman get knocked back on the hard Net floor.

"This is going to be good." Jack said to himself. The crowd was really into this NetBattle rematch. Megaman and Roll get up and lock on each other and fire. They both meet up and explode upon impact. Eros, Sincere and Nastenka were watching from a window and no one sees them and they were not impressed with the whole NetNavi NetBattles. They thought it was a waste of time and boring to say the least.

"This is one awesome NetBattle going on folks! I can't tell who gots the edge in this battle!" Ribitta said into her microphone and the crowd was cheering for both Netto and Meiru. Meiru tells Roll to leap into the air and fire at Megaman while Netto tells him to dodge her arrow strike. MegaMan rolls out of the way and Roll come back down and Megaman hits her with his cannon but Roll blocks it with her own cannon.

"COME ON MEGAMAN!" Netto shouted at his NetNavi.

"COME ON ROLL!" Meiru shouted at her NetNavi. The crowd was going nuts for this match up. Roll trips Megaman down and aims at him for the winning blow.

"It looks like Roll and Meiru have this one." Sal said.

"Do not count Megaman out just yet." Miyu said.

"I can care less about this NetBattle." Yai said not paying attention to the match.

"You said it." Luna replied at her younger sister's words. Roll and Megaman were still going at it for a while now. And it was almost complete. Megaman and Roll both fire at one another again and the shot explodes and both go down hard and one of them has lost. Meiru and Netto were shocked and the crowd too.

"Who won!?" Sal asked.

"Do we have a winner!?" Ribitta announced and Megaman was moving. Roll was not. MegaMan gets up and Roll logs out. The crowd cheers for Netto & Megaman as they won the rematch. "MEGAMAN AND NETTO HAVE DEFEATED ROLL AND MEIRU!" Ribitta announced as Meiru congrats Netto on his victory. The NetBattles were going to resume tommorow with Jack VS Netto. Everyone went to their classes and tests were being done today for all classes. Jack was talking with Kluke about the NetBattles that just took place.

"You did great Jack!" Kluke exclaimed.

"Thank you Kluke." Jack smiled with a slight blush as Kluke was finishing a drawing. Ms Mari was talking with the Principle of a small little incident with another student. This student was talking some crap about Ms Mari and she wanted to know who it was. Meanwhile, Eros was speaking with Zola.

"I got rid of Sherrice for you." Eros smirked. "I trapped her in the UnderNet for all eternity."

"Smart move." Zola said to Eros. "Now, I want you to bring me Kluke."

"Excuse me?" Eros was puzzled by what Zola told her, she wouldn't dare take orders from her. "My orders are to kill my sister not find a girl that your son wants."

"Your father ordered me to tell you that he has different plans for you. Which to find Kluke for my son."

"I don't believe you." Eros said and turns away from Zola.

"Just ask him yourself." Zola leaves as Eros clenches her fist. She was not liking Zola at all. Eros ignores what Zola said and keeps her main order to herself. Eros knew somehow that Kluke had a love interest in Jack Virgo Wilson, maybe Eros was going to help just this once. Eros went to go see her father and question his change of plans. Sincere and Nastenka were shopping for clothes for school tomorrow and some clothes for Eros. The students were taking their test as the teachers were watching them.

"And don't even think about cheating on this easy Net Battle test." Ms Mari told her class.

"Yes mam." Said the class in a boring tone. They take their test as Ms Mari gets a call from the office.

"Lan, they need you at the office, you'll be back in here." She said to him.

"Ok." Lan said and gets out of his seat and goes to the office for unknown reasons. The others continue their test as Lan was going to the office. He goes in and sees that the Principle was not in there.

"Hello Sir?" Lan called out. "Sir, you called Ms Mari to tell her that I needed to be in here? Why is that?" No answer. What was going on. "Hello?" Lan walked closer and saw a man instead of the Principle and he had white hair. "Who are you?"

"I'm Solo." The white haired man said and he pulls out his katana blade and Lan gulps and backs away while Solo smirks and chuckles. "I'm here to ask you something. Do you know Kluke?"

"Excuse me?"

"I asked you if you know Kluke." Solo repeated himself.

"What do you want with her?"

"That's none of your business. Now tell me, do you know her or not!?" Solo yelled getting impatient with Lan.

"I do know her, but I'm not telling you anything." Lan said and was going to walk out of the office.

"You should. If you know what's good for yea." Solo said pulling his blade out a bit. Lan gulps in fear and runs out of the office and goes to the men's restroom and calms himself down. "Ok, do not let him take Kluke. I got to tel her that some guy is after her." Lan said to himself and goes back to class like nothing happened. He finishes his test and Ms Mari grades his paper and gives it back to him.

"Congratulations Lan Hikari, you passed." Ms Mari smiled. Lan was speechless, he didn't know he was going to past this test. Of course it's a C but that didn't stop Lan from being speechless. Lan was so speechless that he forgot about Solo and that he wanted Kluke. Meanwhile, Tia's eye was bugging her badly and she went to a doctor to see if he could find anything. The answer was no. Tia would have bad dreams of the darkness that is consuming her and draining her, so Tia couldn't get any rest. But the force made a deal with her.

"If you can beat me, I will not consume your soul." It said to Tia. Tia accepted and fights the darkness in her dreams. Tia was at home, resting up after she had done training with Miyu.

Eros was talking with Sincere and Nastenka about her birthday tomorrow "Yes, it's my birthday tomorrow...and my sister's." Eros said in a boring tone. "I do plan on getting something for Iris...and it's going to be good...well for me anyways. I'm going to be so delighted."

"So is the party still going on?" Nastenka asked. "I mean, what if Iris has another party planned? I'm sure she will have one...so there's no way she can be at two parties at once."

"Nastenka has a point Eros, what do we do?" Sincere asked her leader.

"Well...I'm sure daddy has some plans to come up with." Eros said with a smirk on her face. She and Iris were turning 15 on Friday which is tomorrow. Iris had a party planned out at Chaud's house and she was going to invite people in the morning of school. Chaud had discussed a meeting during lunch while Iris was eating lunch by herself and Chaud had called, Lan, Maylu, Geo, Sonia, Dex, and Ben to the meeting. Jack was now apart of the group and he brought Kluke along. Chaud walked to the podium as his friends were sitting down in chairs.

"So as you guys know, tomorrow is Iris's 15th birthday. And I want each and everyone of you to get her a gift. You don't need to go all crazy and buy her something that's like $100, but if you don't have money, just make something for her. The party invitations will be held out tomorrow by her and the party is on Saturday at my Mansion, my dad is gone for a business meeting for a couple of days, so he has asked me to take care of the house. Along with some butlers and maids. They will be setting up the party and I want you all to help as well." Chaud said to the group.

"CAN I BE IN CHARGE OF THE BALLOONS!?" Lan raised his hand.

"I got that worked out already. I believe Jack's mom is making the cake, is that right?"

"Yes it is Chaud." Jack said.

"Good. Now does everyone know what to do? Any questions?" Chaud looks at his friends with a smile.

"We got everything you said Chaud." Maylu said.

"We're gonna find or make Iris the best gifts she will love." Kluke said.

"Good, this meeting is dismissed." Chaud said and everyone gets out of their chairs and heads out the small room next to Ms Mari's class.
