I haven't posted for months. I been occupied with work, school, and outside school activities. BUT AYYYEE SCHOOL IS WIL BE DONE SOON ;D.. and then there will only be work… This chapter is really short, and I'm going to post the next chapter to it this week, maybe tomorrow, maybe the weekend. I don't know, maybe I'll even change it a little. I still really hope you guys enjoy this chapter :)

Eyes On Fire

Chapter 3

Hinata opened the door, smiled at her visitors, and welcomed them in.

Sakura glanced up from the couch, to see the visitors, she raised an eyebrow. "Why is Kiba here?"

Kiba narrowed his eyes at Sakura, "Why are you so rude?"

Akamaru tensed up before going it the house, Kiba urged him forward ignoring his attitude. Shino hung his jacket up on the rack on the wall. Hinata had called him two hours ago, ask him to exterminate his house. Well, he wasn't going to exterminate them exactly, he loved bugs, he would never have the heart to kill them. He could just get them to leave, he was like the bug whisperer. There was no bug he didn't know about. He was perfect for this job.

"Do you guys want anything to drink?"

"I'll take water."

"Any champagne?" Kiba asked.

"Sorry, no champagne." Hinata walked into kitchen. "Do you mind tap water?"

"Nope." Shino said.

Kiba sat on the opposite couch of Sakura, next to Ino.

Shino joined Sakura on the couch.

"So you guys think you have an infestation? " Shino said. Hinata handed Shino a glass of water, then sat down next to him.

"Kinda, there was a flying roach roaming the living room before. We don't know where it is now." Ino said.

"Yeah, we just wanted to call you just in case there was an infestation."

Akamaru started nudging his head on Kiba's leg, and Kiba looked at him confused.

"So why are you here?" Ino pointed at Kiba.

"Tch." Kiba said. "I brought Akamaru so he can help sniff out the bugs. How was your first night in the house?"

"I don't like the neighbors." Ino said.

"The neighbor she doesn't like brought cookie for Hinata to welcome her into the neighborhood." Sakura stated.

"Hey! The way you say it makes my sound like a bad guy." She turned to the boys. "The reason I don't like her is because I think she gave me a look."

"You think?" Kiba said.

"I know!" Ino replied.

Akamaru stood up and growled, then ran upstairs.

"Oi Akamaru!" Kiba stood up. "Akamaru!"

"What's up with him?"

"I don't know." Kiba sat back down, scratching his head. "But he's smart, he won't mess up anything upstairs Hinata."

"I know." Hinata said.

You could hear a little pitter patter. All the girls lifted their feet from the floor.

"That's the sound it was making before." Ino said in a whisper like tone.

Shino stood up, and raised his hand, like he was summoning something. The roach flew from out the table, and landed on Shino's hand. The girls squealed and moved back a bit. Kiba even backed up, not sure how Shino didn't mind touching that. Shino stood up and walked to the door opened it, then watched it fly away. Once it did, he turned around. He was surprised to see Sakura with a hand on her hip, Ino pointing at him, and Hinata clinging to them both.

"Wash your hands."

"O-Okay."

Kiba did a small laugh. Shino went to the kitchen to wash his hands, while the girls all sat back on the couch.

Shino walked back to the head of the coffee table between the couches.

"My friends, lift up your feet." He said in and he raised his hands as if pretending to be God.

"What are you-" Kiba started to say from was cut off by the girls screams.

Bugs were coming from everywhere, and I mean EVERYWHERE. Every creak or crack in this house, are where bugs were coming from. Ino clung to Kiba. Sakura and Hinata held each other. Everybody was freaking put except Shino. His mouth curled into a small smile, a little revenge to the girls. They all gathered in the living room, crawling everywhere. The girls started freaking out more when a bug flew onto the coffee table. Shino walked to the door, opened it, and said, "BE FREE!" They all followed his commands, and started to craw or fly or the door. Once every bug was gone, he turned back to his friends.

"That was disgusting."

"Are they all gone now?" Ino asked.

"No," Kiba replied. He pointed at Sakura. "Sakura leave!"

"Dumbass!" Sakura threw a pillow at Kiba. Kiba laughed, and caught it.

Akamaru came running down the stairs whimpering, he went straight to Kiba, and begged for comfort.

"Akamaru what's up with you?" Kiba asked him. Akamaru only whimpered, then growled towards the TV. Everyone watched confused. Akamaru jumped over the table, and starting bark viciously.

"Akamaru!" Kiba said, "Oi!" Akamaru ignored him, became more vicious.

"AKAMARU!" Kiba yelled. Akamaru bared his fangs. No one knew what was making him like this.

Kiba got up, walk to Akamaru, and made him go outside. "You're gonna stay out here until you calm down!" Akamaru viscious behavior turned soft, as he whimpered, but Kiba closed the door on him.

He turned around, "Sorry Hinata."

She shook her head a bunch of times. "It's okay, I just feel bad for Akamaru having to stay outside."

"I'm going to go use the bathroom."

Kiba knew the house after helping her set up a bit yesterday, so he didn't even need to have to ask where it was. He took his time in the bathroom. When he flushed he thought he heard something outside, like paws running across a floor. When the toilet stopped, he heard nothing. He wasn't gross, so he started washing his hand. He heard it again, something running down the hall, this time he was sure he was hearing it. Kiba sucked on his teeth. Kiba was a smart dog, he could opened a door and get back into the house if he wanted to, but Akamaru usually knew when to obey, especially when Kiba was mad at him. He didn't understand why Akamaru wasn't listening to him. Kiba would really have to say something to him.

"Akamaru!"

The running became harder.

"Akamaru!"

The running became even harder.

Kiba didn't even dry his hand when he yanked the door open and yelled, "AKAMARU!"

Nothing or no one was there.

"Kiba?" He heard Hinata's voice. She paused. "Are you okay?"

He looked down the hall both way, and pressed his lips together.

"Yeah… Sorry." Kiba closed the door and started walking back to the living room. "I thought I heard something."

"Akamaru!"

The running became harder.

"Akamaru!"

The running became even harder.

Kiba didn't even dry his hand when he yanked the door open and yelled, "AKAMARU!"

Nothing or no one was there.

"Kiba?" He heard Hinata's voice. She paused. "Are you okay?"

He looked down the hall both way, and pressed his lips together.

"Yeah… Sorry." Kiba closed the door and started walking back to the living room. Knowing he had heard something. He was unable to notice a person with red eyes behind him. "I thought I heard something."

I know this might not have been the most interesting chapter, and it was kinda short, but next chapter is coming this week, just wait on it ;) and it will be more interesting.
