So I haven't updated in God knows how long. School is a struggle. Looking for colleges is a struggle. Work while keeping up with homework is a stuggle. I recently moved, that was a struggle.

I'm just trying to say, bare with me, I'm struggling.

I'll try to be more active though because I've finally got my life a little bit more on track than it was before. (I think.) Anyway, on to the next.

Eyes On Fire

Chapter 6

It was the next morning.

"I knew there was something up with that real estate guy!" Ino said. "You know you could sue him."

"He never mentioned a room like that?" Sakura said.

Hinata shook her head.

Naruto, her real estate salesmen, was real kind when she first met him. He was very welcoming and open when she was trying to find a good house for a good price. He showed her a couple other houses, but he insisted that this one was the best. He joked with her, told her inside secret about buying houses, he even said since she was such a nice customer he would put a discount on the house. He even took her out to get something to eat a couple times! Maybe he just did all that to screw her over. Maybe he just wanted the money, that was probably it anyway. But would a person really go so far to get to know you just to get you to buy a house?

After Hinata had woken up from the fall, her eyes opened up to see the coat closets floor with a hole in it, and her head resting on Sakura's lap. Sakura helped Hinata sit up. When Hinata had fell through the floor her head had a direct hit to the ground. Sakura tried to get Hinata back into reality, while Ino went closer toward the alter, not going to touch it, she only observed it. It wasn't as dusty and something that you would think had been store away for a couple of years. The real struggle was to help Hinata back upstairs. They wanted to take to take her to the hospital to check if she had a concussion, but they were both intoxicated and unable to drive, so they would have to wait until the morning. Hinata couldn't fall asleep either, because of the fear that if she really had a concussion, she wouldn't wake up. So they pulled an all-nighter together. But now it was morning, and they had things to do.

"...That basement looks like no one has been in it for at least a couple decades, plus it was boarded up." Ino asked.

"Even though it was boarded up, it was still easy enough to break off with your bare hands…" Sakura said. She made a fist, then stretched.

"Speak for yourself ya billboard!" Ino said. "Saying we didn't have time to go find a hammer or something to break the wood with, and that we should just pull the wood back with our hand! My hands are scratched and splintered up!"

"Really?" Sakura said looking at her palms. "My hands aren't that bad. I guess I still got the strength from being cheerleader captain in high school."

Ino sucked her teeth. "You were more of a monster than a cheerleader, with that crazy strength of yours. " She began to laugh uncontrollably, "Member that time when you got so excited at one of the football teams games that when you," she had a hard time breathing between the laughter, "instead of normally throwing Karin up, you threw her up so high she fell into the top row of bleachers!" She held her stomach in pain.

"Ino.." Sakura voice crackled from anger and embarrassment. She raised her fist. "I'll kill you."

"Before that," Ino wiped away a tear and raised her hand in defeat, " let's get Hinata to Tsunade. She'll take a look at you immediately when we go." Ino placed her hand on Hinata shoulder, she hadn't really entered the conversation, "you okay? Ready to go?"

"Oh, yeah, I'm good, let's go."

Sakura and Ino walked out the house first, Hinata walked out last because she need to lock the door. She closed the door half way, staring into the house.

"Hinata! Hurry up!"

She closed and locked the door, and walked toward Sakura's car.

"Okay."

Kakashi sat at the table reluctantly getting anxious. He stood up suddenly, startling the other people around him. He didn't have to do this. This was Naruto's problem. The next series of his favorite was released today, and it sells fast. He was currently waiting at restaurant about to buy three women lunch. He sat down. Kakashi sighed and looked at his phone.

Thanks for the favor Kakashi! I owe you one!

Kakashi got annoyed looking at Naruto's text. He muttered, "Oh hell yeah you do."

"Excuse me…"

Kakashi's looked up. The new owner. Based off of what her appearance she seemed like a pretty nice girl. Her voice was soft, she looked a little nervous herself. Two girls walked up from behind her. One blonde friend, who was looking at him with sharp eyes. The other girl had pink hair. Kakashi quirked an eyebrow. The girl that Naruto thought was cute was looking just as intimidating as blonde. This girl looked like she had a good head on her shoulders, and had two real good and loyal friends. Living in that house... it was a shame.

"O-Oh. Sorry. Wrong table." She said, and started to walk away.

"W-Wait!" Kakashi said. "Hinata-san!"

She turned back around. "How do you… know my name?"

"Sorry! Let me introduce myself." He stood up, and offered his hand. "My name is Kakashi Hatake. I'm am a work colleague of Naruto. I'm sorry, but he couldn't make it. So for today I will be acting as his representative."

The girls who stood by Hinata look outraged.

Ino slammed one hand on the table. "What do you mean he couldn't make it! That asshole better get his ass over here, we don't need a representative!"

Hinata wasn't quick enough to utter a word before-

"I'm sorry, but we didn't come here to talk to you. When that prick is brave enough to come face us then we'll have say something." Sakura started pulling Hinata away from the table.

"W-Wait a minute! Sakura-chan!" Hinata said looking back at the silver-haired man.

Kakash shivered on the inside, and sighed. Girls can be scary. He took a deep breathe.

"I'm sorry I'm not the person you were looking forward to see, but I know the house just like Naruto does… and I'll answer any questions you have." He looked Hinata straight in the eye, she stared back. Then walked back to the table to sit down.

"Then please tell answer me truthfully all my question," Hinata said seriously.

Kakashi was unsure if he could completely comply with those demands but… He smiled at her, "Of course."

.

.

Naruto had one hand gripping the wheel tightly and his other hand covering her eyes, trying to not to show his frustration. The light was red, and he wasn't even looking at the light when it turned green, but he slammed him foot on the gas pedal. Not paying attention to his speed, as he started going at 80 mph, he would quickly switch lanes, and put other drivers on edge.

He grinded he teeth. Holding the wheel with both hands, and his expression getting darker.

"Sasuke!"

.

~.~

.

"So, even though I said I'd answer all your questions, I'm still not aware of the situation that supposedly happened last night. Naruto didn't get a chance to tell."

When Hinata was about to tell him the story, she remembered Rika. "I went in the coat closet, and then the floor board underneath her broke, so she fell through the floor, into basement… I wasn't aware my house had a basement. Also… there was an alter in the basement that was for I'm guessing one of the past owner."

Kakashi eyes widened just a little wider. So she fell into that room…

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"No. She's not. She was diagnosed with a mild concussion after we took her to the hospital before we got here."

"I'm sorry you got hurt." Kakashi said. "I'm also surprised that there was ever a room like that house also. I'm sure Naruto was the same. If its medical bills you need, those can be covered- "

"No, it was a good friend at the hospital that helped us out, so she didn't charge any fees, but…" Hinata got awkward. She paused at the question she was about to ask. She was more compelled to ask this question, she didn't even think she'd believe his answer if he replied.

"Is Naruto always so friendly? With everyone?"

"What do you mean?" Kakashi raised an eyebrow.

"It's just… prior to me owning the house," she couldn't hold his gaze, "So, I was just asking…" underneath the table she twiddled her thumbs, "If he took all of his clients out for dinner…"

The table was silent.

"I mean, h-he did some other things too, like he dropped me off to my job once, and home before, and we got coffee a couple times too, and he took me to see a movie before once too… and I was just wondering… why he would do all those sorts of things?"

It's was his test.

"Naruto is friendly by nature. Sometimes he can be overly friendly when he comes to like a person. He's like that with many people, once he likes them, he doesn't fail to get to know them. Don't be alarmed, he treats everyone that way."

"O-Oh! Everyone... Okay, I just thought it was a little weird, but if he actually considers-"

"Don't believe him." Ino muttered.

He heard her.

.

.

.

"SASUKEEEE!" Naruto yelled as he stormed into Hinata's house. "SHOW YOUR FACE YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE!"

Last night when Naruto had been sleeping he got a call in the middle of the night.

The phone rang next to him on his night dresser. His arm lazily scanned for his phone. Once he picked up, he gave a sleepy, "Hello."

"Naruto?" Said the other voice on the other line. "I have something to-….Stop!"

A second party could be heard on Hinata's end, then he head some noise, and another voice. His mind wasn't fully there so he wasn't sure what he was really hearing. "I can perfectly- OW!"

There was silence for a little it before Naruto said, "Hello?"

"Uh! Hi! It's Hinata!" Her soft voice said.

He immediately woke up. The new owner.

"Oh! Hi Hinata! What brings you to call at this hour?" He asked. Having a couple ideas in his head.

"Um.. well.. I just.." Hinata was having a hard way of phrasing it.

"Did you sell her a broke down house?"

"Don't bullshit us."

The last two voices were her friends.

"Um.." Naruto scratched the back of his head. "Can I find out what happened?"

"Well.. I fell through the closet floor into this basement that you never told me about..."

Shit.

"I'm so sorry! Are you ok?"

"Y-Yeah! I'm o-" There was noise on the other oline.

"Her head hit the concrete when she fell, she could have a possible concussion. How do you think she is?"

He got silent. "I'm so sorry."

"It's ok.." She said quietly. "I just have some questions to ask tomorrow, could we meet for lunch tomorrow?"

He circled the living room in frustration.

"You can't do shit like that, living people can get hurt!" Naruto ran his right hand through hair. He stopped walking. "HEY!"

"Why the fuck should I answer to a dumbass that keeps coming into my house?" Sasuke sat on the stairs.

Naruto turned to him, and clenched his fist. "Was it on purpose?"

Sasuke lazily looked at him. Then looked away.

Naruto's rage took over. "Was it on purpose!"

"No." Sasuke gave a simple answer.

"I added another layer of wood to that floor last year I couldn't have broken on its own so early!"

"Sorry, but I already gave you an answer."

"And your answer is bullshit, so I'm asking for a real one!"

"I didn't show her anything."
Naruto clenched his fist, and turned his head toward the couch, where Sasuke now sat.

"Fine…" Naruto tried to calm himself. "Who was it then? Who was it this time?"

Sasuke stayed silent. Naruto stopped looking at him.

"Who was it this time?" Naruto repeated. "Was it Akame?"

A black haired girl, with red eyes.

"Or was it Mine this time?"

A picture of pink haired girl, with pink eyes came into his thoughts. He remembered she was half foreign. Her name was pronounced just the way it was written.

"How 'bout Tatsumi?"

A little boy with brown hair, who always carried a baseball bat with him, since it was his favorite sport. Who one day even wanted to become pro.

"Or maybe Rika?"

A bright blue haired girl who with brown eyes smiling.

It was Rika. This time it was Rika who had shown the new owner that.

"Isn't it always them?"

Naruto lets his emotion control. He stormed over to Sasuke, and grabbed him by his collar.

"STOP FUCKING AROUND! THEY'RE GONE! THEY LEFT WHEN THEY DIED! THEY DON'T RESIDE HERE ANYMORE! THEIR WHERE THEY NEED TO BE! ALL OF THEM ARE WHERE THEY NEED TO BE! THE ONLY PERSON LEFT IN THIS FUCKING HOUSE IS YOU! WHY DON'T YOUJUST GO LIKE THEY DID!" Naruto let go of his collar. "And see your fucking family!"

Sasuke said nothing. Just glared at him.

Naruto let out a frustration sigh, and sat down on the other couch. He let his head fall back. This tired him out. It's like the guy really didn't know what was going on. No soul other than Sasuke was left in this house. Not his mother's, father's, or brother's. Not any of the adults, nor children or even pets that lived here. They all moved on. All of them. Naruto made sure of it, when he asked a medium to come over and check out who might also be in this house, but they said only one spirit is here. He's had this convo with him before. He decided to calm down. He looked at Sasuke who stared back at him.

.

.

"What's up with the neighborhood?" Ino asked.

"Hm?" Kakashi replied.

"We barely see the neighbors, and when we do, they usually ignore us. Only one woman has greeted Hinata into the neighborhood." Sakura said.

"Oh! They are not used to new families entering the neighborhood. Most of the families have lived in that neighborhood for year, so when a new family moves in, they kind of feel on edge. It is really a nice neighborhood though, once they warm up to you, you will really feel like you belong."

Liar.

They all sat down eating. Kakashi had ordered a crab dish with dark roast coffee. When he said they could order anything, the girls didn't not hold back when making him spend his money. Hinata only ordered Chicken Alfredo, with virgin Apple Martini. Ino ordered her favorite baby back ribs plate that came with jumbo butterflied shrimp, mashed potatoes, and a Pina Colada. Sakura ordered a California club, with a side of potatoe wedges, and Root Beer.

"Like, for how long have those families been living there?"

"Some for more than 100 years. They would pass the house down to their kids, who'd pass it down to theirs. Many have historical ties to the area, and choose not to leave."

"Is the house actually run down?"

He held in a sigh. "No. I helped Naruto make renovations for it pretty recently, it might've been an area we missed. Again I apologize."

"Ne," Ino wiped out her phone, and tapped her screen a bit before turning the screen to him. "Who are they?" She had snapped a photo of the pictures on the alter. She showed him the picture of the pretty black haired woman smiling. Then swiped right, and showed him the picture of the man, who's face looked older, and stoic. "Are they past owners?"

Kakashi replied a second late, "Most likely. Yes."

"What are their names?"

He started at their faces. The girls stared back at him wondering why he took so look to reply.

"Sorry, I wouldn't know. We don't keep photo records or any records at all of those who buy the house. Not our policy."

"Do you think it's possible they died in the house? Cause that's scary, and if they're still there, and you guys sold Hinata a fucking haunted house, then-"

"I guarantee you, there is nothing wrong with that house. I'm sorry that the neighborhood seems a little unfriendly at the moment, and that such a terrible accident has happened. But I assure you, nothing is wrong with that house." He smiled at her again. Kakashi folded his hands, and looked Hinata in the eye. "Either way, if something was wrong with the house, after we've officially sold - our real estate company the proprietor – is no longer accountable for whatever occurs in that house. So even if there was something awry about the house we are no longer obligated to revise the house. Although, if you had rented it, that would be a different story."

"Asshole." Ino said. "We can still sue you for something like this-"

"Thousands of cases against real-estate companies go to court each year and roughly .01% actually prevail for the plaintiffs." Kakashi sharply with his gaze as Ino. "Even if you did decide with your decision to continue onto court, to dishearten you, our named company's attorney name Jiraiya has not lost a case in 20 years, and will most definitely find ease in putting your case down." He sipped his coffee. " Though if you wish to continue on with that decision I cannot stop you."

Ino's mouth tried to collect a comeback, but he interrupted.

"Look, your all young, right? This is your first time buying a house right?"

Hinata slowly nodded her head.

"It's okay, you look like you haven't even reached mid-twenties, I wouldn't expect you to know all the rule of something like real estate. At your age if someone does something wrong to you you probably feel like to you can just sue them, but sorry, not in this case." He turned to her friends. "And I understand that your mad your friend was injured, but please try to keep your calm because the situation is out of our hands."

.

~.~

.

"Oi, what's the reason you showed it to her anyway?" Naruto sat relaxed on the couch. He wouldn't get mad anymore, since the bastard wouldn't show concern for anything. "I know your life was tragic, but can you really stay like this forever?"

No shock that he didn't get a reply. Naruto got up and started collecting his stuff, deciding he'd leave.

"Ne, ne," Rika said, peeking at Sasuke from behind the couch. "Where's my dad?"

Sasuke narrowed his eyes as her. "Get out of here. He's dead."

She stared at him.

"Sasuke?" Naruto said, standing at the door, he had been watching him the whole time, "who are you talking too?"

Sasuke looked at him.

Naruto gripped the door knob hard. His friend disappeared, he was no longer on the couch. He no longer knew where Sasuke was in the house. "Whatever!"

.

.

Ino had been writing up a report for professor due next week. Sakura was watching Chef Ramsey, but instead of adults cooking this season, there was prodigy kids.

Hinata was on the phone with her sister in the bed room.

"I would love to move in with you right now." Said Hanabi on the other line.

Hinata laughed. "How's you and dad?"

"We're good. It sucks though. Without you or Neji here, it's boring. When dad works late I'm all alone, and when he comes home he always tries to make some type of convo that I try to stay active in, but I can't relate to at all.. Can I move in with you now?"

"No, not yet."

"I love the pictures you sent me of the place, it looks huge. Did you send Neji a picture of it too?"

"Yeah. He already called the bigger room."

"Not fair!"

Hinata smiled, "Sorry."

"Hanabi!" Hinata heard in the background. Her father must've came into her sisters room. "Did you finish your homework? You can't be on the phone without it done."

"I'm going to do it soon, I'm on the phone with Hinata!"

Hinata heard a little ruffling on the other line.

"Hello? Hinata?" Her father spoke on the other line.

"Hi dad." Hinata smiled.

"How are you? I haven't seen the house since that one time you brought me with you to look at it. I wish I could visit soon, but company keeps me busy."

"I understand, don't push yourself, you'll come visit it again soon, so don't worry. How's the company?"

"Our stock exchange went up. And we have collaborated witk Teki Electronic."

"That's great to hear."

"Yes, it very much is."

She made a small laugh noticing her father trying to be funny. He had a different type of humor. He's the type of person who can make a joke with a straight face or try and be funny by speaking in a monotone voice.

"Dad!" Hanabi's voice could be heard in the background. "I was talking to Hinata first! I just wanna talk her for a little longer, then I'll get off the phone, and do my homework all together."

Hinata yawned, she was feeling tired.

"Fine, I'll call you later on tonight, or tomorrow. Here's Hanabi."

He passed the phone back to Hanabi.

"Hinata?"

"Yeah?" Hinata yawned.

"Can I just talk to you for a little bit, like ask your advice for something?"

"Sure."

"So lately me and Moegi was been have been hanging out less lately, cause she's been with Konohamaru, so I was feeling a little lonely."

"Why don't you tell her?" Sleep was really hitting Hinata, but she tried to stay awake.

"Because their dating and I don't wanna separate them by being that clingy friend.. but I was also kinda annoyed with him, and did something a little.. mean.."

"Like what?"

Hanabi started telling her story of house she embarrassed Konohamaru in school in a moment on jealous. You might of not known it, but Hanabi was a talker. Hinata's eyes started closing a little bit, and her head started falling a little.

"Hi-"

"-Nata!"

"…"

"Hinata!"

Hinata jolted up, she was drifting off. She rubbed her eyes. That not good, Tsunade told her to have someone monitor her in her sleep for in case of that minor concussion.

"Did you fall asleep?"

"Almost, sorry."

Hanabi didn't saying.

"Hana-"

"It's okay, I'll call you tomorrow, bye." Hanabi hung up before Hinata could even utter another word.

'I wonder if she was just a little mad I wasn't listening…'

Hinata put down the phone then got up and stretched. She needed to stay awake. She looked around the room. It was really dim, the lights looked they were dying, they gave the room a sickening glow. It also looked a little red, like everything in the room was tinted a little red, except the TV which was making a loud noise. The TV was the only bright thing in the room, and showed black and white snow on the screen. She went to the cable box to make sure it was working proper and then to check if one of the cords were just taken out of it. When she didn't find a problem she gave up, and decided to fix it later.

'I'll go get some milk and a snack to drink.' She thought to herself.

She left her room, and headed downstairs.

"Ino, Sakura." She called out, walking down the stairs, "I'm going to get a snack from the kitchen, do you guys want any…"

At the bottom steps, once she got into the living room she noticed they weren't there. The living room was also dimly lit looking reddish. The living room TV was the brightest thing in the room, and played the same black and white snow. Hinata started feeling uneasy, then she noticed a note on the coffee table between the couches. It read:

Hinata, me and Ino ran to the store real quick so get some sushi because we had a craving.

Be back soon.

Hinata wished they would've woken her up, but at least they wrote the note. She still didn't like the feeling of being alone right now though.

'I'll just go to the kitchen, get my stuff real quick, then try to fix both TV's.'

She walked to the kitchen, and opened the cabinet with cups, then went to the fridge and poured herself some milk. She decided she'd drink it warm, and put it in the microwave. She scavenged the fridge for a sweet snack.

There was three knocks on the door.

She closed the fridge door, and a small wave of relief rushed over her. That was probably Sakura and Ino coming back from the store. She heard another knock. She walked to the door, and called, "Sakura-chan? Ino-"

"Hinata?"

She froze in place, shocked. Rika... it was Rika's voice. Rika who was jumping in a closet, that their happened to be a hidden room under. Hinata was sure it was about 10 o' clock at night, what would a little girl like Rika be at her door for?

"Hinata?"

Hinata could barely form the words, "R-Rika-chan?"

"Hinata! I missed you!"

Hinata stood at the door, in silence, she wasn't sure what to do... she didn't want to open the door though.

"Hinata?"

"Uh!" Hinata said quicker than she wanted to. "Yes?"

"I wanted to come show you something." Rika paused. "Why won't you open your door? I wanna see you!" Rika reeked with unwelcomed goodwill.

Hinata didn't reply.

"Ne, Hinata." Rika sounded cheery appearance turn blunt. "Why aren't you opening the door? You're hurting my feelings, you're acting like the worst..."

That comment shocked Hinata. She didn't want to open the door, but she found herself unlocking the top lock.

'Why am I?'

Reality felt hazy.

'I don't want to open the do-'

Without even realizing it, the door was wide open, she was outside, and the door slammed shut behind her.

"R-Rika-chan…" Fumbling on her words, "w-why are you this late? Just to… show me something?

"Mm!" Rika nodded. "Thank you for being so kind to be before, and I didn't exactly want to show you something, more like, someone."

Hinata didn't see or even sense anyone around them for her to introduce, but when someone stepped forward from the black and red shadows into light emitted from the sensors on her house, she covered her mouth not to scream. A man, in suit in tie stood stiffly. He had no head, she could see the spine sticking out of his neck. Most of his skin around the neck also wasn't there so she could see his layer of choppy looking muscle. Blood that was dark enough to think black dripped from his neck, and stained his clothes.

"My dad wanted to come here himself and thank you!"

Hinata took a step back. 'What's with this?' Her body wouldn't move, she felt colder, and a chill was being sent up her spine. 'Run.' Her body felt paralyzed. 'I can't move… I…' It was like something out of a horror movie. 'I need to run'. She legs trembled, it felt like time wasn't even moving anymore, she could only stand here and stare. 'Why can't I...'

"Hinata.."

'Run…'

"Hinata."

She felt another rush of disbelief and terror rush over her.

"HINATA!

Hinata opened her eyes, and jolted up. She breathed hard. She looked around, she was in her bed again. The room was normally lit. She looked at the TV. The movie Great Teacher Onizuka was playing, not loud black a white snow.

"Hinata!"

She was once again startled. Ino looked at her friend worried.

"I-Ino –chan?"

"Are you okay? You fell asleep! You know if you get tired tonight you're supposed to tell one of us so we can watch you! Tsunade's orders!" Ino crawled into Hinata's bed. "I'll start watching your know, I'll get Sakura to come in later."

Hinata nodded her head absent mindedly. "Ugh Ino… C-Can you pass me my phone?"

Hinata looked at her phone, not much time had passed, 20 minutes. She noticed she had received a new text message from her sister. It said:

I can't believe u fell asleep on me!

Next time if you're tired, just tell me. I went on

5 mins basically talking to myself.

Anyway. Night! Talk to you later Hinata!

P.S. U're hearing the story properly tmrw.

"Ne Hinata. You were so still it, and I couldn't see your breathing. I thought you were in a coma, I started to really freak out." Ino said.

"Sorry for scaring you like that…" Hinata trailed off then asked, "Ino, I just had a weird dream that left a funny feeling."

"What was it about?"

"It was about…" Hinata thought for a second. She shocked herself, "I can't… remember…"

Ino raised an eyebrow.

It felt like it happened only a minute ago. She remembered the feeling, and she was still feeling anxious. How come she couldn't remember her dream. She could only remember a small portion of it. She remember her room being dimly lit red, and seeing white and black snow on the TV. 'Why… can't I remember?'

"I hate dreams like that. You wake up, feeling the emotions in your dream, but not remembering the dream."

Hinata stared at Ino.

Was that what this was?

'It was only a dream.' She started to acknowledge what Ino said more. It was only just a dream. She's had many weird dreams before, and this was probably just one of them.

"Ne Ino, wanna ask Sakura to get up here, we can put on Netflix, and watch a romance-comedy?" Hinata said. That should be something enjoyable to get rid of this feeling. 'It was just a dream.'

"Sure, why not."

.

.

Naruto threw a ball up in the air then caught it. Sprawled across Kakashi's couch.

Kakashi was counting the money Naruto just gave to him. He was being paid back for spending $193 for the girls lunch.

Naruto couldn't get his words out of his head.

Get out of here. He's dead.

He threw the ball in the air.

Isn't it always them?

He caught it.

"Hey, Kakashi?"

"Mm?"

"Do you think a ghost can have schizophrenia?"

Kakashi looked at his friend unsurely, "I wouldn't know."

"Because," Naruto sat up, and leaned over looking at the ball. "I noticed that Sasuke often to talk to people as if they're there, and I think the people he talks to are the past families. For instance, Rika's back! But Rika's not in the house anymore. Same goes for Tatsumi, Mine, and Akame. I just thought he had schizophrenia because I thought he see things…"

Kakaski gave a small life, "it's like the ghost is haunting himself." He turned back to his money then sucked his teeth. "Dammit lost count."

He didn't realize Naruto intense stare.

.

.

.

The movie had been off for five hours. When the movie ended Ino stayed, and Sakura went into her room. Even though Ino was supposed to watch her, she knocked out before she could actually try too.

Hinata prayed she didn't enter a comatose state in her sleep.

Hinata felt the bed shift a little, it woke her up. Ino's weight was gone, Hinata could tell. She was switching with Sakura. The light in the hallway turned on. Hinata felt a presence at the door entrance, they joined her in bed.

"Ne, Hinata?" Sakura's voice said. "Do you love your family?"

Hinata barely opened on eye, she couldn't be see Sakura because she was laying on her left side, and Sakura must've got on the right side of the bed. She didn't have as much energy as Sakura, so she answered with a sleep, "Yes, I do."

"Do you get to see them often?"

Hinata yawned, "Not as often as before, but I do see them a lot."

Hinata waited for the next random question to come from Sakura. Luckily it didn't come, Hinata didn't want to try and build up anymore brain power to answer it. She figured Sakura had gone to sleep, since she didn't feel Sakura fidget or say anything. Hinata found pleasure in her dreams, before she was once again taken out when she felt a pair of arms wrap around her. 'Sakura…' Hinata thought. One fact was that her friend was a hugger and kicker at night, she knew because they've shared beds before, and she's been kicked off the bed plenty of time before, she's also been cuddled many time before. She knows how painful or uncomfortable it could be to sleep with Sakura.

"Lucky. I never get to see mine."

The arms around Hinata tightened, her eyes shot open, it was painful. The arms around her were not Sakura's, they were a man's arms. They were far too muscular to be a females. He hold grew stronger.

"You really are lucky."

That voice wasn't hers either.

'Who is-' she thought.

His strength was beginning to crush her. She felt a forehead pressing against her neck, and she could feel his breath on her back.

"I would kill to see my family again," Sasuke said huskily. "You wouldn't understand something like that."

"I-I can't-" She couldn't breathe.

"How do you think it feels to not be able to see your family anymore?"

Hi-

She squirmed in his arms, which seemed like they only kept tightening by the second. She felt like her arms were going to break.

Hinata.

"To see them die in front of you."

She prayed.

Hinata.

"With the murderer right there."

Hinata!

She could feel her arm and ribs crack.

"It feel likes…" He cynically whispered. She trembled from the new found pain, feeling his breath on her neck. "You can't breathe."

"HINATA!"

Her eyes shot open. Again. Just like before. The arms around her were gone. She breathed roughly.

"HINATA!"

It was Sakura's voice. She realized she had Sakura in the same strong hold she was in just a second ago. She released her immediately. Sakura took the biggest gulp of air.

"I couldn't breathe." Sakura coughed

"I'm sorry-"

'I thought that I was being squeezed, but I was really squeezing Sakura…' She tried making sense of everything. The whispering in her ear. She couldn't remember it, even though she heard it so clear, why can't I remember it?

'Why can't I remember anything?'

She felt a breath on her, and jerked, touching her neck in confusion. The spot where she felt the breathe tingled.

He hid in the darkness of the room, with a smug smile creeping his way on his face. He couldn't wait to be done with her.

"I'm wanna go visit my family." Hinata said. "Maybe I need to visit home."

It was random to say in this situation, but she felt like it was something she needed to say out loud.

Sakura looked at her confused.

His face faltered.

He couldn't wait to be done with her.
