Modern AU. Late one night, Puss and Kitty are awakened by a little pup who has had a nightmare.

I’ll never forget seeing Puss in Boots for the first time when I was nine. About three months later, I started making up a little, fan-made sequel, by first making a little outline, that I’ve been building off of ever since. Okay, so the first half of this story will be an adventure, similar to the first movie, but second half will be….well, you’ll just have to wait and see.

Puss in Boots ultimately decides to use his last wish to reclaim his lost life to be a legend again. Kitty and Perrito walk away from him, not accepting his vain behavior. Will something happen in Puss in Boots' life that shows what he is missing in life?

But Perrito's never celebrated Christmas before and is unsure what it all means and is too timid to ask Puss or Kitty about it. Donkey finds out, however, and takes it upon himself to educate the little dog all about Christmas. But will he give Perrito the wrong idea?

Puss gets left alone on his and Kitty's wedding day so when he meets Kitty again, he isn't hesitant to let his feelings take over. Will Puss learn to forget what happened? Apparently, being buried alive isn't as scary for Puss as actually dying.
