A/N: Hey sorry it tooks so long! Enjoy!
ONE YEAR LATER...
Naomi's standing at the alter Cook right by her side, the opposite positions from just a year ago. She honestly never thought she'd be doing this, though she never thought she'd meet someone like Emily either so she figures you can't really predict where life takes you. And she's more than okay with that because she's never been more happy in her entire life. The wedding march begins to play. She'd be lying if she said she wasn't a little nervous. Cook nudges her pulling her away from her thoughts.
" Babes, you ready for this?" He speaks lowly.
" Yeah, yeah... of course." She nods quickly biting the side of her mouth.
" Cuz you seem nervous.." Cook notices looking at her amused.
" I'm fine, I'm fine." Naomi reassure than after a beat. " I can't believe I'm do this." taking a deep breath she smiles.
" We've really grown up, huh?" Cook rubs Naomi's shoulder.
" Yeah." Naomi agrees as she looks ahead to the love of her life. " Yeah we have."
Emily's walking down the aisle with Secretary Rob. Her elegant wedding dress hugging to her body in all the right ways. The body that the blonde has explored every inch of over the past year. When their eyes meet Naomi can't help but smile, all nerves slipping away the moment Emily smiles back, that smile that's only ever been tipped in Naomi's direction. That secret smile that's just hers.
The day she put everything on the table for Emily at Cook's wedding was the beginning of her life. The days that followed were filled with pure joy and happiness. She never thought she'd enjoy the domestic life but she had been wrong. Committing to Emily was the best thing she'd ever done. Loving her and only her. Being with one women for the rest of her life. It's all she ever wanted and never knew until now. Until Emily.
The night she purposed was a surprise to her more than it was to Emily. She hadn't even planned it. There was no ring, no grand gesture. It was in the moment. That's how she thinks it should be. It just felt like something she needed to do.
They were just lying on the couch watching a film, cuddled up into each other like any typical night. Emily had reached up and gently kissed her whispering against the blonde's lips that she loves her. When she pulled back she had such an intensity in her eyes. Naomi had never felt so loved in her entire life and in that moment it had been a no brainer. She wanted to spend forever with this girl. So she had asked and Emily's eyes had teared up with happiness and she had whispered 'yes' against Naomi's lip, what felt like a hundred times.
She knew they were forever.
Well that's it! It's short I know but I think that concludes it. I'm working on another story now but I wanted to finish this one first. Okay see you soon!
