Chapter 8: Familiar Hunting
Takashi is sleeping in his bed. He rolled over and felt his face in something soft. Takashi sluggishly opened his eyes to see that his face was in a pair of large breasts. He looked up to see Rias's sleeping face. Takashi said in shock ", Buchou!"
The sleeping Rias woke up with a smile and said ", morning Takashi."
"Buchou, why are you in my bed and why are you naked," Takashi asked the awoken beauty?
"I saw you sleeping and thought that I would join you. I also told you that I sleep in the nude," Rias said sweetly.
"Takashi-san, it is time to get up," Asia, who is wearing her school uniform, said as she opened the door. She just stopped and stared at Takashi and Rias.
Takashi just stared at Asia in shock as Rias said ", morning Asia. We will be down in a bit."
"Asia-chan, it's not what you think," Takashi said as he tried to explain.
"I want to sleep with Takashi-san, too," Asia said as she began to take her clothes off.
"Asia-chan," Takashi said worryingly.
"Asia-sama. This is not how you should act in front of the master of the house," Grayfia said, which caused Asia to stop just as she finished unbuttoning her shirt revealing a white bra.
"Grayfia-san, we didn't do anything. Buchou climbed into my bed after I fell asleep," Takashi said in fear of what Grayfia would do to him.
"Do not worry, Takashi-sama, Rias-sama did stuff like this when she was younger," Grayfia said with a small smile.
"Grayfia," Rias yelled in embarrassment as Takashi sighed in relief.
Later that day during a break between classes, Takashi was talking to Yuuto when Asia and a female classmate with glasses and black hair in twin braids walks up to him.
"Hello, Takashi-kun," the girl said.
"Hello, Asia-chan. Kiriyuu-san. Do you need something," Takashi asked?
The girl named Kiriyuu smile evilly as she said ", have you slept with Asia yet?"
"What," yelled most of the boys in the room!
"Well, Asia talks very fondly of you. She even told me you two live together and that Rias-senpai just moved in," She said, putting fuel on the fire.
"Kiriyuu-san," Asia yelled in embarrassment as her face turned red!
"WHAT," the boys yelled even louder!
"Yeaaa," yelled the girls at the thought of their handsome Takashi and the beautiful Rias being together.
"Myoujou, you bastard," yelled a boy with a shaved head!
"It's not fair that Rias-senpai gets to be with Myoujou-kun all the time," a girl with a ponytail yelled!
"Why does he get to hang out with the school beauties," yelled another boy with glasses!
"I want to stay with Myoujou-kun too," yelled another girl, one with short hair.
"Damn you, Myoujou," yelled a boy with scruffy hair!
Because of the incident Kiriyuu caused, Takashi had to spend the rest of the day avoiding the other boys. After school, Takashi was walking towards the club room when Rukia came running up behind him.
"Nii-chan," Rukia yelled!
Takashi turned around and said ", hey, Rukia-chan. What's up?"
"I just wanted to remind you that my birthday is in a few days," Rukia said with a smile.
"I know. I already have your birthday present," Takashi said returning the smile.
"Really. What did you get me," Rukia asked with stars in her eyes?
"You'll just have to wait and see," Takashi said as he headed for the club room again.
"Ok. See you then," Rukia said. After Takashi turned around, she followed him. When Takashi entered the old school building, she tried to enter but the door would not open. Rukia just sighed and decided to try again later.
Inside the club room, everyone was waiting as Takashi entered the room.
"Sorry I'm late. The teacher had me take papers to the guidance counselor," Takashi said apologetically.
"It's ok. Now I have some great news for you and Asia," Rias said as she took a sip of tea that Akeno made.
"What is it," Takashi asked in anticipation of the news?
"Both you and Asia will be getting familiars tomorrow night," Rias said with a smile.
"But I already have a familiar," Takashi said in confusion.
"You were given Sanatos but it is customary that you catch your own," Akeno said with her usual smile.
"Is it alright for someone to have more than one familiar," Takashi asked?
"Yes it is. Some devils fight with nothing but their familiars," Yuuto answered.
"What kind of familiar do you have, Buchou," Takashi asked in curiosity?
Rias lifted up her hand as a small magic circle appeared. In a puff of smoke a red bat like creature appeared. "This is Sakura. This is your first time seeing her like this," Rias said.
"What do you mean, Buchou," Takashi asked with a look of confusion forming on his face?
Sakura turned into a human girl in a familiar costume.
"The girl that gave me the flier," Takashi said in shock.
"This is Shiro," Koneko said as she petted a white kitten.
"This is Tsubasa," Yuuto said as he fed a bird that was on his shoulder.
"This is Momo," Akeno said as a small oni appeared in her hands.
"Look at all the types of familiars," Asia said in amazement.
"I wonder what we will find, Asia-chan," Takashi said with a smile.
"I can't wait," Asia said with a smile of her own.
The fallowing evening everyone teleported to a forest and meet a young man in travel gear.
"Hello, Rias Gremory-sama and friends. I am the Familiar Master Guid," the man said in introduction.
"Hello, Guid. These are Takashi and Asia, they are here to get their familiars," Rias said to the man named Guid.
"Hello," Takashi said as he shook the man's hand.
"Hello, Guid-san," Asia said with a smile.
"Do you two have any idea what you are looking for," Guid asked?
"We never really thought about it," Takashi said in embarrassment?
"If that's the case then I'll show you around the forest to see if you find what you like, but make sure you all stay near me. There are many dangerous creatures, like nine headed hydras, that can kill most devils," Guid said.
"Ok. So where first," Takashi asked?
"I know just the place. Also before I forget, there is a rumor that the Dragon King Tiamat may be in this forest," Guid said as he walked off with everyone fallowing him.
[Ugh,] Ddraig said mentally.
'What's wrong, Ddraig,' Takashi mentally asked?
[Tiamat hates my guts,] Ddraig said.
'Why,' Takashi asked?
[I don't want to talk about it,] Ddraig said as he when silent.
Guid showed everyone various creature ranging from birds to undine, which looked like muscle men, which caused Takashi to barf on sight.
While searching for other creatures, Asia spotted a small purple dragon up on a tree branch. "What is that," she said as she pointed to the dragon?
Guid looked up and said ", that is a Sprite Dragon. If you want it you better catch it now because when they get older they can't be tamed."
Asia called for the baby dragon. The dragon looked over at Asia and made a happy face as it flew into her arms.
Guid laughed as he said ", dragons are simple creatures. They like beautiful things, gems and girls a like."
"Will you be my friend," Asia asked the baby dragon?
The dragon made a sound of delight as it smiled up at Asia.
"Hello little one," Takashi said to the baby dragon as he tried to pet it but then it zapped him with a blast of lightning from its mouth.
"Why you little," Takashi said in anger at the baby dragon as everyone began to laugh.
"Oh. I forgot to mention dragons often hate other males," Guid said while laughing.
A load roar was heard.
"What was that," Rias said with a worried look on her face.
"I don't know," Guid said in reply.
Then a large shadow blanketed everyone. They look up to see a blue western dragon. But before anyone could react, the dragon fired a fire ball at them. Everyone got out of the way of the fire ball but when it hit the ground a large explosion happened that spread smoke everywhere. When the smoke cleared the dragon was gone and everyone but Takashi, Asia, and Asia's dragon where there.
"Where are Takashi and Asia," Rias yelled as she looked around for her newest servants!
In what looks like a ravine, as he was falling, Takashi had Divine Dividing appear and caught Asia in his arms bridal-style. Takashi landed softly on the ground and helped Asia stand. Asia's dragon flew down next to her.
"Where are we," Asia asked?
"It looks like a ravine," Takashi said as he looked around. He saw a large fire ball coming towards him and Asia, so he made the Boosted Gear appear and cover himself, Asia, and the baby dragon with his Protector Wall. After the attack hit Takashi saw the dragon from earlier in front of him.
"Ddraig, you bastard! You made a mistake appearing in front of me," the dragon yelled in a female voice!
[Tiamat,] Ddraig yelled out from the Boosted Gear!
"Tiamat," Takashi and Asia yelled in shock at the revelation!
[Aibou, activate the Balance Breaker,] Ddraig yelled at Takashi!
"Why," he asked?
[Tiamat is the strongest of a group of dragons known as the Five Dragon Kings. Without the Balance Breaker we will die,] Ddraig yelled in fear!
"Ok, Balance Break," Takashi yelled as the gem in the Boosted Gear began to glow.
[Utoh,] Ddraig said in a worried tone.
"Ddraig, what's wrong? Why is the armor not appearing," Takashi asked in shock?
[It seems that it takes five minutes to activate the Balance Breaker and, this is like rubbing salt in a wound, you can't use any of the Boosted Gear's powers until the times up,] Ddraig said on an awkward tone.
"What," Takashi and Albion yelled as Takashi got hit by Tiamat's claws, getting slashed across the chest.
"Takashi," Asia yelled as she ran over to the wounded boy! She then began to heal his wounds with her sacred gear.
"Die, Ddraig," Tiamat yelled as she attacked the young devils but was stopped by Takashi's Protector Wall.
This continued for a while as the attacks began to put cracks in the energy dome.
"Damn it! Ddraig why does she hate you," Takashi asked as the energy dome began to fall apart?
[I don't want to talk about it,] Ddraig said in a defensive tone.
"Ddraig," Takashi yelled!
[He dumped her and she has hated him ever since,] Albion said in an angered tone.
"What," Takashi yelled in anger! "We may all die because of your love life," Takashi yelled even louder!
Then the Boosted Gear yelled out ", Welsh Dragon Balance Breaker," as the red dragon armor covered Takashi.
Tiamat stopped her attacks at the sight of the red armor.
Takashi stood up as he said ", Asia go hide and Ddraig we are going to talk later but first let's fight a Dragon King." Takashi then smiled underneath his helmet as if he was going to enjoy the fight.
Asia nodded as she ran behind a rock with her dragon fallowing her.
Ddraig gulped in fear from the tone of voice Takashi said his name in, as Takashi became covered in a red aurora.
"Now, Dragon King Tiamat. I will give you one chance to leave," Takashi said to the dragon.
"And if I don't," Tiamat asked in anger?
"Then I will defeat you in order to protect not just myself but Asia-chan as well," Takashi said as he stared up at Tiamat through the green eyes of his armor.
"You're just a measly reincarnated devil! You can't beat me," Tiamat yelled as she attacked with her claws!
Takashi flew out of the way of the attack. "Albion," Takashi called.
[Got yeah,] Albion said in response.
"Divide," said the Divine Dividing as blue energy came out of Tiamat and flew into Takashi.
Tiamat felt her power leave her as she yelled ", what did you do to me?!"
"You should open your eyes Tiamat. If you look at my wings you would have noticed that they are Divine Dividing," Takashi said to the Dragon King.
"It's not possible for someone to have both. Your body should be tarring itself apart from the two opposing powers," Tiamat yelled?
"Then I must be the prime example of a miracle then," Takashi said as he began to charge his Black Cannon.
Tiamat felt the power from the magic ball in Takashi's hand and attacked him with a fire ball.
Takashi blocked the fire ball with his Protector Shade.
"Boost! Boost! Boost," yelled the gems from the armor!
Takashi fired the Black Cannon. The attack hit Tiamat and sent her flying backwards and crashing into some trees.
Tiamat got up. She could not see Takashi until she looked up. What she saw was a shock to her as she looked at the ten devil wings coming out of Takashi's back, with the Lucifer family magic circle appearing behind him.
"Who are you," Tiamat asked in anger?
"I am Cidrit Lucifer. The last surviving member of the Maoh Lucifer's family. And out of respect as that we both have legendary backgrounds, I ask again. Tiamat will your leave us alone," Takashi said with the regal of a king.
Tiamat did not say a word because she became awe struck at the power she was feeling from Takashi. She then remembered the last time she felt this way. It was when she met Ddraig for the first time all those millennia ago. She smiled at the memory and said ", I concede, Cidrit Lucifer. I know now that I cannot defeat such a being as yourself, Twin Dragon Emperor."
"Twin Dragon Emperor," Takashi asked as he landed on the ground, as his devil wings and dragon armor disappeared?
"You are both the Red Dragon Emperor and the White Dragon Emperor, so a perfect title would be Twin Dragon Emperor," Tiamat said in explanation.
"Twin Dragon Emperor, huh. I like it," Takashi said with a smile as Asia and her dragon came up to them.
"Hello, Tiamat-san. My name is Asia Argent and this is Raishi," Asia said to introduce herself and her dragon.
"Raishi," Takashi said in confuse?
"He shoots lightning so 'rai' and the 'shi' is from Takashi," Asia said a bit embarrassed.
"Hello Asia-chan. Raishi-kun," Tiamat said with a smile as she got on all four to be eye level with everyone.
"Takashi, Asia," Rias yelled as she, everyone from the ORC, and Guid came flying towards them!
Guid looked at the dragon near Takashi and fell on his ass in shock as he said ", that's Tiamat, the Dragon King!"
"What," Rias yelled as she and the other club member got ready to fight!
"Everyone calm down. Tiamat does not mean us any harm anymore," Takashi said as he got in-between Tiamat and his friends.
Everyone slowly eased up at Takashi's word.
Guid stood up after his little freak out and said ", Rias-sama. Time is up on familiar hunting. The moon is going to set soon."
"I see thank you Guid-san for all your help," Rias said in thanks. She then looked at Asia then at Takashi. Rias then said with a sigh ", at least Asia found a familiar. Sorry Takashi we can try again some other time."
"Yeah. Better luck next time," Takashi said in a somewhat depressed tone.
Tiamat had a spark of genius. She then said ", Cidrit if you need a familiar then I will be happy to be one."
Everyone was shocked at Tiamat's words.
"Why would you do that, you're a Dragon King," Takashi said to the dragon.
"You showed me something I have not seen in a very long time and I want to see where it is going," Tiamat said with a smile.
Ddraig seemed to react to Tiamat's words but the only one to notice was Albion.
"If you want to come along with me, you have to call me Takashi," Takashi said as he gave up on changing Tiamat's mind.
"Thank you, Takashi," Tiamat said happily.
Both Takashi and Asia began to chant what Guid called "The Pack with the Familiar."
Tiamat and Raishi were covered in a light blue light after the chanting was done. The light then faded to signal that the pack was complete.
"Now you two have caught your very own familiars. Make sure you take good care of them," Guid said as he flew off.
Rias smiled as she said ", ok everyone. It's time to go home."
"Tiamat let's head home," Takashi said with a smile to the blue dragon.
"A new home, huh," Tiamat said with a smile.
